What happens during the Cinderella Dinner? I know the fairy god mother is there but what happens? Does she do some kind of a skit or what? Thanks we are surprising the kiddos and going to WDW for Christmas and I was able to book the castle for dinner on December 21st. :goodvibes

We were there this past May. You have your photo taken with Cinderella downstairs before going upstairs to the dinningroom. The boys (princes) receive a sword and the girls (princesses) receive a magic wand. During your meal the Fairy Godmother and the mice (Suzie & Perla?) come out and sing a few songs. They dance throughout the dinningroom but don't stop long enough for autographs...but mice paused long enough to get a few pictures. The food and service was good! I think your family will enjoy it and being so close to Christmas will make it even more magical! Have fun!

We had a magical evening at CRT! :wizard: After you meet with Cinderella in the lobby for pictures you are taken upstairs to the Dining Room. When we were there, and like the above poster said, the FG and two Mice come out and do alittle song & dance skit. They quickly acknowledged special events-Birthdays, etc. The mice dance through stopping just long enough for a very quick pic. However, when we were there, no one received wands or swords. I thought that was only during B-fast and maybe lunch.:confused3 Have a magical evening! at CRT!! Thanks! I was wondering also about the wands and swords if they were a dinner thing or just lunch. I also thought I recalled it not being at dinner, you get pictures instead then? Were the pictures included in the price for dinner?

Yes, the photo package is included in the price :upsidedow

We were there last Wednesday. When you go in, you take a picture with Cinderella first and then wait for your table. The boys do get a sword and the girls a wand. We didn't have the Fairy Godmother - just the 2 mice and Sleeping Beauty. They did stop for pictures but there wasn't a show. During dinner they bring you your pictures with Cinderella which is included in the price.

Our reservation was at 9:00 and felt a bit rushed. You needed to order your drink, appetizer, entree and dessert at the beginning and things just keep coming out 1 after the other and you can leave at any time because everything is pre-paid (including tax/gratuity). The food was ok - nothing special. You're really paying for the experience of being in the castle.
We did breakfast a few years ago and we thought that was a bit nicer as far as the experience/food but the professional picture with Cinderella is a really nice touch!

We are doing dinner, too. December 11 at 4:15 pm right before MVMCP. I was hoping I would see some CRT dinner reviews, also. These really help. My kids will be thrilled to eat in the castle, Sshhh . . . it's a surprise!

I'm sure your kiddos will enjoy it, Mom Poppins! Have fun!
