It was a mixed bag for us--don't know that I would hurry back.
We arrived a bit early for our 5:00 PS, but were seated promptly. Lisa had snails, tenderloin and cream brulee; I had mushrooms and cheese on flatbread, seared tuna, and chocolate tart. Very mixed reviews.
Both our appetizers were very good. The flatbread with mushrooms and cheese was almost large enough to be an entrée, and Lisa said her snails were quite tasty. My tuna had no taste at all. Nothing bad, but nothing good. Just nothing. The shoestring potatoes with it were room temperature. Maybe they were supposed to be? And a little on the greasy side. The bit of salad that came with it was very good. Lisas beef was superb and very tender, her potatoes were lack luster. Her crème brulee was excellent and my chocolate tarts filling was great, but the crust was much too heavy.
We only ate 3 sit down meals: Boma, CdF and Kona. None of them provided remarkable service. Our server at Boma, whom Id had before, was slow to remove dirty plates from the table and half heartedly kept an eye on our drinks. The server at France, who mentioned at the end of the meal that the gratuity was NOT included in the CP package was better, but still rather mechanical. She checked back frequently, but overall, I felt the ATTITUDE of all the wait staff we encountered was, Heres-your-food-I-hope-you-like-it;you-may-or-may-not-see-me-again-bye-and-have-a-nice-day.
