Tell me about Cedar point Park campground on property

Thinking about doing cedar point park in Ohio. DH found they have an on property campground. Can anyone give us some info or tips about this place?

I would do a search on RV.net. I looked into it once but because of my kids being younger we have delayed our trip a few years. Good luck, and if you go let me know what you think.

The campground at Cedar Point is divided into 2 sections one with just electric the other with full hook ups that side is refered to a s Light House Point. the full hook ups are of course the nicest and most expensive think around $90 a night, they are concrete so very level and have cable and BBQ grills also ( no ground fires allowed). They have a shuttle but also a short walk to the back gate, 1 hour early addmission but limited rides open early.
IMO woth it to stay there just like at Disney no parking fee, on property so can go back for rest, pool and meals.

Really nice campground, well maintained, close to all the action, paved roads, cement pads, not much yard but most people go for the park not to camp. Plenty to do in the area, on Sandusky Bay, can see the Erie Islands.........it's nice.........not the Fort but nice.

Unless something has changed in recent years, Cedar Point does not allow any tents at the campground. Just thought I'd mention that just in case.

It does not have a "camping" type feel. Its more of a concrete jungle with RV's. But you also have Lake Erie very close to the campsite.
