Tell me what you like and don't like. We were at AKV last week and were talking about how great it was and I decided to cancel our Nov waitlist for BWV. Don't ya know the waitlist came through before I could call and cancel. Should I keep the ressie or should I put myself on the waitlist for AKV?

Well, if you're going when its F&W or when the Christmas decorations are up, I think BWV would be a great place to be. Convenience to DHS and Epcot can't be beat for those things. Walking home from the Osborne Lights when others are waiting for Boat or Bus is especially satisfying!

You mentioned how much you loved your savannah view at AKV...I love it too. However, I also love BWV...I'm someone with 5 home resorts, and AKV and BWV are 2 of them.

The only thing I don't like about the BWV is that there isn't any dedicated 2 bedroom, only lock-offs. When our extended family gets its time at BWV, we're going to go for a GV!

Next spring, I'm spending spring break with some DGF's, DH can't get off for the whole week. I gave them a choice of resorts, and BWV won, hands down. The convenience of the 2 parks won my DF's over, here I thought they would go with OKW for the more real beds/more room in the 2 bedroom!

Since BWV and BCV are my favorite resorts by far (tied)... my adice would be BWV. The location just cannot be beat.

i just love the feel of BWV....then again, I've never stayed at AKL. The convenience of its location, the sights and sounds of the Boardwalk, the 20's feel.... I just like it all :lovestruc i say give it a try!

I love the BWV...I have to tell you....I liked it WAY more than I thought.

I did have a great room that was close to everything. Overlooking villa pool on the side that is closer to the main pool, view of TOT....and quiet.

IMO the BW feels the most "upscale" of all the resorts. The main pool is closer to the villas...than the Inn....which surprised me.

Brings us to the pool.....my favorite on property...You can sit at the tables...and watch the kids walk up and come down the slide. The slide is really fun and fast BTW.

Great restaurants all within walking distance. Great to walk right into world showcase.

My room ( and the hallways seemed to be in fine shape....again reading some of the reports....I expected a mess. I really liked the decor of the room.
IMO the bedspread was the most comfortable out of any Disney resort.
It felt almost like Cotton....not the plastic....maybe because they are the oldest:lmao:
Happy planning....I would stay with the BWV and not give it a second thought.:goodvibes

If you keep the BWV ressie, when you get there go down in the morning with your coffee (if you do coffee) and sit on the porch in the rockers and you see why we like it there. Oh and being close to 2 parks and F&WF at that time and all the restaurants right there and ESPN CLUB and Piano bar and the pool and of course the BOARDWALK and bakery:lmao: I could go on but--

Now what I don't like is NOT BEING THERE NOW:goodvibes

keep the BWV ressie:cool1:
