Just wondering if anyone (or many people) could tell me more about Boma breakfast. We have ADR for here in Sept....but are considering canceling. Part of me says go for it...give it a try. But then another part of me says skip it.

Little bit of back ground....the ADR is set for the day we arrive at WDW at 10am. We're staying at Pop and if things go well we should be to Pop by 8am after taking the ME. From there we'd need to take the bus to AKL...but I think we'd have plenty of time to do the travel. We're also planning on spending a good deal of time this day at DTD and DQ. We're considering skipping the ADR at Boma and just doing at CS at DTD (Earl of Sand or someplace like WG Express) Right now we have MORE ADR booked than we have credits for so if we did Boma we'd either be paying OOP or using our credits and then sharing at other places a few other meals to make up for using them at the buffet.

Oh..and to add we also have ADR that same night at Kona for dinner..around 6pm. :goodvibes

I don't think it'd be a problem with sharing at meals (there's more than enough food).

I have never been there for breakfast. A pot of Coffee is my fav breakfast:scared: .

But if there dinner is any indication, the food should be very good. Boma's is my fav rest in WDW.

Boma was the best breakfast we have ever had!!! It was wonderful. I was like you when we were first deciding to go. The food was a little different, etc. But I read alot of great reviews and I had a feeling it would be great and we were glad we did!!! The best omelets I have ever had!!!(besides my own of course;) )
It was so good, on that trip we found ourselves cancelling our other ADR and trying to get into Boma for breakfast and dinner (which is also incredible!)
We even ended up going twice and paying out of pocket! (We had the dining plan)
So anyway, we highly reccommend it. The food and atmosphere was great. I have experienced nothing else like it or as good, esp. in the breakfast dept. at WDW !

Below is the review page for breakfast at Bomas from allears.net. There are lots of detailed reviews and you will find it is reccommended by 103% of reviewers!

I didn't think Boma even did lunch.:confused3 (just breakfast and dinner)

Loved breakfast at Boma. We went in March, including my parents and we all loved it. There is a ton to choose from and it's all very fresh and good quality. I highly recommend it.

Boma is the only restaurant that we're going back to in January, if that tells you anything ;)

Scrapperjill, are you aware that there is not a bus from POP to AKL? Probably the best way to go (if you do) is take the bus to AK and then take one from there to AKL.

I've never had breakfast at Boma, just dinner. But We do love the Earl of Sandwich.

:cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2:

Thanks everyone.

I'm not sure they have lunch either....I've never looked into lunch. But that's okay we're booked for breakfast;)

Yes...thank you about the bus info from Pop. I did know....but when I posted I just didn't put alot of thought into it. I haven't done alot of planning on what bus going where would be best to get there since we hadn't decided to go yet. But yes...I did know (just didn't remember right then) ;) lol.

I've read quite a few reviews on Boma and for the most part they are VERY good. Which makes it even harder to decide. I know I'd mentioned how if we sippped Boma that morning we'd go to DTD and grab a CS meal...and that if we did do Boma we'd be either paying OOP OR splitting meals later in the week to make up for the used credits. Well...that brings me to...IF we went ahead and used the credits at Boma that morning and saved the CS credits then we may end up with extra CS credits in the end. Which is really the only thing we're hung up on....do we Pay OOP or share during the week to make up for the used credits then end up with left over CS credits in the end...or do we just use the CS credits for Breakfast or lunch at DDT and just go on from there??? To many decisions:confused3 :goodvibes
