Tell me about Biergarten

We liked the atmosphere. The food was alright, but nothing to write home about. The thing I remember the most about it was how heavy the food was and it sat in our stomachs like a brick for the remainder of the evening. It wasn't a matter of us eating too much food, it was just stick-to-your-ribs types of food that stay with you a while. We would go again if we were with friends who wanted to try it out, but I don't think we'd ever book it again.

We think the atmosphere is great and the food is pretty good. Surprisingly, it seems to appeal even to very picky eaters. Since you have such a large group, that's probably a consideration for you and makes this restaurant a good choice.

And with !!32!! in your group, you'll fit nicely in 4 whole tables all to yourselves, and you can visit back and forth as much as you want - it's that kind of a place.

When the band plays kids are encouraged to come down to the area in front of the stage and dance; a good way for little Energizer Bunnies to let off steam while the rest of the group dawdles over food, beer, and chit-chat.

I normally don't have a lot of fun when I eat, but I did at the Biergarten!

We had been to WDW many, many times and not eaten at Biergarten until our last trip in 2007. I don't usually enjoy eating communally but this was fun! We had another family with us who was very friendly and we spent time chatting with them about Universal and sharing tour plans.

DH really loves the food there and since he doesn't otherwise care for Disney, we are going to Biergarten for lunch and dinner this trip! (I know what counts!)

We have had lunch here on every trip. When we first started going there it was a sit down meal and then it became a buffet. Fun atmosphere with the setting and show. Lots of different food to choose from.

We enjoyed The Biergarten restaurant for lunch. German food is very "meat and potato" based so I suggest ignoring the fancy names of food and just realize that the majority of it is meat and potato based.
