We are very fortunate that we can take our annual vacation in early June, when Artist Point is at its best.
For a very short period (3-4 weeks), the restaurant will fly fresh Copper River salmon in from the northwest. This is a unique time, because its the very start of the spawning season, when the salmon are fattened up in preparation for the swim up river. The meat is incredible, and Artist Point does terrific job. The best salmon you're ever have...anywhere.
Combine this with a nice chardonnay, the elegant atmosphere and beautiful view of the woods, and nearby Bay Lake and you have the makings for a perfect meal, and finished off with a seasonal fresh berry cobbler.
