I just booked our Trip October . 14 -18 .. Tell me about the Lounge at US? is it a nice place to go to in Middle of day.? How will they know I have access ? Any pictures . Tyia ...

Nice is a relative term. I'd say it was nice. Room with chairs and small tables. Outlets to charge your devices, if you bring your own charging cord and plug. Free small water bottles, that while in a small refrigerator, never seem to be particularly cold. You can take them with you, if you want. They also have snacks, like granola bars, but I am not sure, as I never liked the snacks they offered. I like to go there on a hot day, rest my feet, check my phone, have a bottle of water or two, take one or two bottles with me, and use the restroom on my way out. They check that you used your AMEx to buy your tickets or AP before you enter the room. I hand the lady at the front my AMEx card, she goes on her computer and says, welcome, and hands my card back. I usually charge my AP to my AMEx. Never had an issue. It can get crowded.

Sorry, no picture of it. Maybe check online via google. It's basically a plain room.

And it's only open in the afternoon. If I am in the Studios, and need a break, and near there, I stop in, if not I don't go there every day I am in USO.

We've stopped in when we are there. Snacks are granola bars and salt and pepper chips. ( we liked the chips). I am pretty sure all they want is an American Express card, you didn't have to use it to buy your pass.
It can get crowded as their is not a lot of room but it is cool and a place to sit.

I walked by the door 4x before I could find it. It's on the backside of Shrek and down from Transformers. When we were there last month there was a face painting/ tattoo stand right by it and I finally had to ask the, where the entrance was. It's really non-descript door back from the sidewalk.

If you use an American express gift card to purchase tickets, can you still gain access to the lounge? I would guess the answer would be no but I was just curious.
