Hi!

I am looking for vacation ideas, looking to go in May. I have a trip booked to WDW but am starting to think that maybe we should do something different.

Looking around, I found a Celebrity cruise to Alaska, 7 nights and for the 5 of us, it is around 3 thousand dollars. We have never been on a cruise before. We have 3 kids, 15, 13 and 5 years old.

What do you think? Is this something the kids would enjoy? It leaves from Seattle, roundtrip with stops in Alaska and one in Victoria Brittish Columbia. Will the kids need passports?

Thanks for all your help!

Jess

Yes, you will need passports. Your price is very good. Prior to the recession, Alaska cruises were priced much higher.

Alaska is a truly spectacular place. We had been all over the Rockies but it doesn't compare to the scenic beauty of Alaska. My kids think it was the best trip that we have taken (and they have been to 30 states and 16 countries).

Celebrity is our favorite cruise line (by far). Can't help with Alaska, though. Celebrity has a great kids program for older kids - not sure about younger kids...
