Tell me about 1900 Park Fare.. please ;)

RUN, RUN, RUN.

This is by far the worst meal experience I have every had at Disney, bar NONE. And it wasn't an isolated incident, it happened twice!

They were horribly behind on their ADR's both times (30 minutes plus) and both times they put our party of 8 at a table for 6. Considering they were 45 minutes late the second time we didn't even think about complaining. God only knows how much longer it would have been to get in. The food was average (although their bacon was AWESOME).

The service was very poor and the characters so so overwhelmed they didn't get much time to stop at each table.

Words cannot describe how much I hated this place. I think whoever is in charge of this so called restaurant should be tarred and feathered. Then forced to ride IASW for an entire day (when MK has EMH in the evening during the busy season).

We went to Park Fare for breakfast ONCE. Never again as the CM's were rude, food was bland and the place was soo LOUD. Won't go back. The clincher was the rude behavior of the waitresses. :confused3

You must have had our server. She was HORRIBLE!

Well, we go for the characters, not the food, at the majority of character meals. 1900PF has better-than-average food as far as Disney buffets go. It is extremely loud there. Certainly you will not be out of place, but, if you value food over experience, I would go elsewhere - GFC, as mentioned earlier, is a good choice.

We ate there for the first time last week. While I was disappointed about the wait time...(they came and asked us our name THREE TIMES)...I have to say it was one of my favorite meals of the trip. The strawberry soup is amazing. And the character interaction was wonderful. I know that they moved chef TJ over to 1900 PF, so I suspect this is the reason for the food being so good. I had read nothing but bad reviews about it, but was interested in seeing the step sisters. I was pleasantly surprised by just how good it was. My dh's favorite meal of the trip. And we had some pretty good ADRs for 1 credit...Le Cellier, Coral Reef, Kona, 'Ohana, CP, and Akershus. This was his favorite.

I say give it a try. And say hi to Chef TJ for me. He was on vacation last week :(

We've eaten here several times both for Breakfast and Dinner. Our last visit was in August for Breakfast and it was without a doubt the best meal we've had there. The food was plentiful, tasted good, the character interaction was wonderful and we had the best server. Our drinks were never empty! I would recommend it!

You go for the Characters not the food. I just went for Dinner cause it's been like 10 years since I 've been . Well it might be even longer next time.

I am one that does not like buffests but I always make it a point to go to 1900 Park Fare for a breakfast. I am a minority, I didn't like CP at all, I tried it for two reason, one the thrill of it after being in the arks for so many years and also getting in the park on Christmas morning without a problem. I won't go there again the experience was nice but going back to 1900 PF this year again :santa:

Thanks everyone. We like buffets so I'm not worried about that. I'm expecting food quality to be typical disney buffet. The noise level concerns me. I personally don't care if we see characters but I don't want to sit in a very noisy room trying to have a conversation. I may have to re-think our plans.

I love buffetts but this one is the most money for dinner and there wasn't all the food like you get at Chef Mickey's.

I'm surprised at the good reviews. I'm not fussy. We went there for breakfast and this is the first time I have ever left a restaraunt and couldn't eat the food. It was that bad. Hopefully it was just a bad day. I did love the food at crystal palace. I would recommend that for a buffet.

I am a huge fan of 1900 Park Fare for both Breakfast and Dinner. Mostly because of the character experience!! Its a beautiful restaraunt to eat in. We ate breakfast there five days ago with Mary Poppins, Pooh, Tigger, Alice and the Mad Hatter. The food wasnt the best though but then again I like breakfast the least. Its all you can eat buffet!! All your typical breakfast foods are on the menu, not much different than the other character bfasts around disney. But its fun. I prefer dinner at 1900 Park Fare though! I liked the food better :)
