I've been wondering what they planned on doing with this show. The last episode they showed really threw me for a loop when they revealed the daughter. I figured they could end the show there and as viewers we would just assume that the group continued with their work.

I'll just mark that date on my calendar.

As many of us figured would happen, ABC has canceled Happy Town before showing the final two episodes of the mystery. It is possible that they will use it as filler burn-off some Saturday during the summer.

Thank you Bicker for the update! I forgot the Gates was starting so soon. I can't wait for Make it or Break It to come back the following week.

I read the USA Today review of The Gates and Scoundrels.... it wasn't glowing. ;)

I'll record 'em, but I doubt we'll watch 'em, unless you tell me they're the best thing since sliced bread. ;)

Bicker, are you a technical writer? If not, you ought to be. It seems like a passion of yours and you do it very well.

We don't watch too much tv, but will probably tune into Wipeout, Burn Notice, and Eureka. Maybe Warehouse 13.

I was an international business management specialist. I suppose there was some technical writing involved in that, since most of the businesses I advised, managed and assessed were high-technology design firms.

I've already started my "retirement career". I design software now. Lots of fun, by comparison.

We just finished watching the first two episodes of a new show on Cartoon Network called Unnatural History. It's definitely geared to older kids, good for tweens who can handle a little violence. Basically, it's National Treasure with teen stars as a series.

We are all instant addicts and hope others are watching too so it stays on the air!

For fans of Warehouse 13; I watched it when it first premiered, but wasn't sure about it (and then I was watching way too much TV), so I gave it up. I keep reading great reviews and am reconsidering my decision. Should I give it a second try and will I be lost if I didn't watch all of last season?

First, I think you should give it a second try ... it is a great show. :thumbsup2

Second, the show is, generally, episodic, rather than arc-driven, so while there are elements of continuity that could be lost on you, on occasion, I think of Warehouse 13 more like Eureka, than like Fringe, so I don't think you'd be lost, starting to watch the series now.

If you want, you could do about ten minutes of reading and be pretty-much "caught up" on the continuity elements;

http://warehouse13.wikia.com/wiki/Claudia_Donovan
http://warehouse13.wikia.com/wiki/Irene_Frederick
http://warehouse13.wikia.com/wiki/Arthur_Nielsen

And you really do need this next page, to catch you up to what you missed in the Season 1 finale:

http://warehouse13.wikia.com/wiki/James_MacPherson

If you've got more than ten minutes, you might also find these pages useful, but not necessary, to "catch up":

http://warehouse13.wikia.com/wiki/Warehouse_13
http://warehouse13.wikia.com/wiki/Artifacts
http://warehouse13.wikia.com/wiki/The_Tesla
http://warehouse13.wikia.com/wiki/The_Farnsworth

Keep in mind that those pages will be updated over time - you want to read them as they are today, since they don't spoil anything coming up in Season 2 (yet).

History Detectives' schedule for the summer:

Code:
05-Jul-10	Lauste Film Clip;Baker’s Gold;Transatlantic Cable
12-Jul-10	Clara Barton Letter;Andrew Jackson’s Mouth;Spybook
19-Jul-10	Cromwell Dixon;Bartlett Sketchbook;Duke Ellington Plates ( R )
26-Jul-10	Korean War Letter;Diana;Lookout Mt. Painting
02-Aug-10	(rerun) Earhart Plane Part ( R );Fillmore Pardon ( R );Boxcar House ( R )
09-Aug-10	St. Valentine’s Day Massacre Gun ( R );George Washington Miniature ( R );Stalag 17 Portrait ( R )
16-Aug-10	Hot Town Poster;Face Jug;Lost City of Gold
Interesting; not only a rerun in the middle of the season, but the week right after that is a "new" episode that contains only rebroadcasts of reports from previous seasons.

Talk about asking a question and getting more than you expected! Thanks, bicker, that was great. You've sold me.

To serve, and prot... uh... We aim to please. Yeah, that one works. :)

It's too hot to be outside today, for us, so I think we'll be watching America The Story of Us today, on The History Channel. It started at 8AM, and continues through our history, until 8PM.
