Teleporters?

Okay, I must be missing something here. I bought a set of teleporters, assuming that if I put one of the set in one of my rooms and the other in the other room that I'd have a way to go back and forth between my rooms. Apparently this is not how they work since they don't seem to do anything but sit there looking ugly (could they not create ones that would blend with the decor of different rooms better? or for that matter, create any furniture that looks okay in the bayou room?). Could someone please tell me more about these things and what I have to do to get them to work?

Which teleporters did you get?

The Coffin ones actually have a Front to them. So if you have them turned around backwards...they won't work.


I believe you need the knocker facing out on both.

If you want someone to come check them...let me know

also did you by chance buy two sets? the thing about teleporters is you cant tell which 1's link until you try them. so if you have more teleporters in your inventory put them all down and try not to ever carry more than 1 set at a time or you will cause yourself some pain!

I have both a set of River Cave ones and the ones from the Monsters Inc game. Its the River Cave ones I'm trying to get to work....

I didn't think to try the Monsters ones and see if they work.

So was I right in my assumption of how they work? Maybe its just a glitch right now and they'll work later.

You are correct in thinking how they work.

However, the River Cave teleporters will need a START piece in front of both of them.

There are really to be used to make a river...not to connect rooms. But they can be used that way. Just more expensive since you have to buy Start pieces for them.

The Monster teleporters will work without any extra pieces.

I'm done work in a couple of minutes, if you want in game help but I think you should be fine now.

Ah, that's it....unfortunately I used up my last 700 credits on the teleporters....

Well, in a few days I should have teleporters between my rooms, unless I decide to use the other ones for now.
