Teens On The CB

even as a 21 year old, some people on the CB still treat me like a teenager and disregard what I say thinking I could not have possibly experienced anything close to what they are experiencing. Well the teen board is a little young for me, the college board is all about the College Progam, and on the CB i still get judged as if I were under the age of 18...so where does that leave us?

I don't post much but read the boards every day. I have no problems at all with teens posting on the Community boards. Sometimes they seem more mature that some of the adults.

Sparx, I think you always are very mature and enjoy reading what you write. But then I may be a bit biased since I'm Michael's mom.

In the end, we are only who we say we are on-line anyway; right? Some of you have actually met each other, but some of us could be somewhat different that we portray ourselves; no?

There are some things we talk about that I would not be comfortable talking to a teenager about in real life, but it's a public forum, a community that is not restricted, so that's just the way it is.

Isn’t the community board for the entire community? As long as you have something relevant to add to a thread and you conduct yourself appropriately, does it really matter if you’re 10, or 110?

Many posters don't even like to show their age so their age is anyone’s guess...I guess it all boils down to how you present yourself and how you’re able to participate. Just IMO.

I agree. Some comments may be moderated a bit if the posters realize that teensor kids are on the board.
