Teens mass of DLR/WDW

we shuld have just one big trip where every teen (that can) goes to a disney theme park. sort of like SW weekend except for teens only.

any1 agree?

That'd be alot of planning and alot of teenagers... its really hard to get everyone's schedule perfect for that, plus everyone needs money. That would be amazing though, I'd go if I could!

I think it would be nice if Disney hosted something sort of like a summer camp, inviting teenagers to come and spend the week at either WDW or DLR. They could use it as a recruiting opportunity (not to mention a $$$ making opportunity). It could be a event with counselors/chaperones - no parents.

However, the best time to do an event like this would be during the summer, and that's already a busy season for Disney - no reason to waste accomodations on a bunch of teenagers. But maybe they could use the houseing they use for the college program or something.

They could have celebrity guests and performers like GradNite and have special planned activities and tours.... it would be super fun for the Disney loving teens!

Grad Nites are for graduates, hence the word 'Grad'. So all teenagers can't go, which is what the OP was saying.

And it'd definitely be a cool idea. It would just be hard since the parents are the ones that plan the time of year they go, not the kids....well usually.

Actually.... really any teen or adult can attend GradNite. Disney does not check that the students attending are actually graduates (they actually suggest sending underclassmen along to promote the event for future graduating classes), and any adult can chaperone.

Still, this is just a mass of teenagers - not Disney-loving teenagers. I'm thinking the OP had something more like MouseMeets/MouseFest for teenagers in mind. And considering that MouseFest (well, it's cancelled this year) was coordinated by "unofficial" Disney people, it would be difficult to put an event like this together considering that parents are the ones that book and pay for vacations. Not to mention, one must be 21 years of age or older to check into a hotel.

There is, however, some sort of Kid Convention in Orlando, FL. Something similar could be done with teens, though teens would probably be less enthusiastic about attending such event.

w/e get's teens inside the parks; make sure they're disney freaks... it's more enjoyable. bring chaparones. send the adults to CA or another park and party in DLR or MK.

I don't think I could take all those teenagers, especially the girls. I am not good with the whole "don't give dirty looks" stuff. I like to start trouble! XD

if we could do that... thay would be so much fun! like the summer camp was a really good idea and i would deff do that! and also sleeping inside the magic kingdom or something.. like an all nighter @ the park haha. but that would be tons of funn.

i have been to grad nite.
i was just in the parks yersterday for my birthday during spring break.
teenagers (that arent everyday disney fans like we are) dont give a crap about the theme park. they treat it like its nothing special, theyre rude to other guests, basically arent in the unspoken disney-etiquette that someone thats been there more than once or is a disney fan follows.
it would be a disaster to let that many teenagers run loose around the magic kingdom.

that puts us between a rock and a hard place. but we could get parents to book hotels. or if we could stay in-park... ya! for keeping out bad ppls, u could take a quiz... or be a part of D23. that would be perfect. d23 is the official fan thing, right? no normal teen would become a part of that.
