Teen's First TR! April 2011

By the time we were finished with riding HM, the churro had worn off and I was starving! My family decided to head out to Downtown Disney to find a place to eat!

Our escape route out of the park was by train! (because I was too hungry and lazy to walk )

Two more stops to go!

And we made it!!

My dad decided that we should eat at Catal because he is a fan of sit down restaurants.
Personally I would have been happy eating the pizza at Napolini

I ended up getting the grilled chicken and it was very delicious!!
The little pieces of applewood bacon were awesome!!!

So with our stomachs satisfied, we headed back over to DCA. My sister and I decided it was time to ride California Screamin'!!

I simply adore this ride!! It is amazingly smooth and the onride music adds a thrilling touch to it.
The launch is probably my favorite part!

None of them look too happy!!

Afterwards, we met up with our family friends again so that we could go on ToT together!

On the way, we made sure to make a stop at the tortilla factory. I loved their fresh tortillas! They somehow made my day a little bit brighter!
Unfortunately it is closed forever now. R.I.P. Mission Tortilla Factory

Well anyway, we continued on to ToT! The queue is themed excellently! It builds up excitement/nervousness for the ride!!

I really hate this furnace because it looks like a face!! It creeps me out!

After a good couple rides on ToT, we split up for dinner!

Well, actually we rested for a little bit in our hotel room and then we headed downstairs for dinner!
We chose to eat at Whitewater Snacks!
It's a favorite of ours because it is quick and secluded from the park.
It is a very relaxing place to eat!

Plus they have a neighborhood cat who likes to take free meals from guests!
I got a kids meal with chicken and fruit!

It came in this very cute box!!

Inside was chicken and grapes! Simple yet good; that's how I like it!!

I didn't really sit and relax in Whitewater because I scarfed down my food. My sister and I wanted to watch the preshow for elecTRONica, so we made sure to have enough time to get there!

A small crowd was already formed by the time we got there.

While we were waiting, I went into Gone Hollywood (the little gift shop by Award Weiners) and bought myself a sweatshirt because I wasn't thinking and didn't bring a jacket on this trip!
The sun went down fast and the show started!

Curse my shortness!!
After some corny dancing and sound effects, the count down began!

This is when I started getting excited!
After the countdown, the lights and music of elecTRONica turned on and the party was started!!

Our first stop in elecTRONica of course was Flynn's arcade!

I absolutely love all the games in it! Of course, I admit that the old school games are much harder than the newer video games that are out.

I looked behind the TRON game in the little crack in the wall, but there was only storage back there. Such a disappointment!
There are even light and sound effects that come from behind it, so I defenitely expected something to be there!

After our fill of games, I wanted to show my sister the light cycle!

It's so pretty!!! I asked my mom if she could buy me one, but she said no!

It was about 8:00, and we needed to head off to WoC to get our seats!
On the way, my sis got some light up cotton candy that she was VERY pleased about!

We stood sort of far back, right behind a planter. We saw the open spot and we didn't want to risk not finding a spot in the front. Also, this spot made sure that no one was going to stand in front of us!

The view we had wasn't as bad as it looks in the picture! haha
My favorite part was definitely the Firebird and Chernabog part! I am a fan of Chernabog!!
WoC is a great show!! I liked it this time better than the first time I saw it!
I think the first time, I expected too much!
Also, on the Lion King part where Mufasa dies (sorry for the possible spoilers lol) a woman that was standing by me laughed!! I was appalled because that scene definitely brought tears to my eyes!!

After the show, I really wanted to go back to A Bug's Land!! (because I love it so much!) Not as many young children are there at night as in the daytime! I guess they all head over to Disneyland or back to the hotels later in the evening.

Front row seats on Heimlich's Chew Chew Train! Oh yeah!!

idk if you can see, but it is COMPLETELY empty!

And my sister wanted to go back to elecTRONica because she didn't get enough of it the first time!

We caught a little glimpse of the fireworks while we were there!
Well, I got bored very fast. My sister for some reason, just wanted to stand there and listen to the music!! She was just happy watching everyone dance! I wanted to go on a ride, so I headed off to Monsters Inc. by myself!
It was a little creepy in the queue area because I was the only guest in there! The cast members sort of looked at me funny because I was all alone!

This is possibly my favorite dark ride in DLR!
At the end, Roz is there to say a few words to you!
If I remember correctly she told me she liked my hair and next time I should bring her a churro!!

When I came out of the exit, my sister and mom were still watching people dance! So I made the suggesstion that we should head over to DL to do something!
We ended up just taking a ride on Matterhorn and Big Thunder Mountain!
Then we were satisfied and called it a night! I was tired, yet ready for another day at Disneyland!!

The next day started off around 9:00!!
I ate some Fruit Loops and was ready for the day!
My sister and dad slept in as usuall, so it was just my mom and I!

Our way into the parks was by monorail! They already had two running, so it was a pretty short wait!

There were many people already in the park!!

Some nice foliage around the track...

We arrived in Tomorrowland, and because I didn't feel like waiting in any lines, I thought that Innoventions would be a nice place to visit.

I love exploring the House of the Future!! I wish my house was just like it! haha
My favorite room is probably the little boy's room.

I even took a little nap in his bed!! Just kidding!

There is a cute little bell that just adds to the nautical theme of the room!

After a little bit of exploring, we joined a tour of the house!
First we went into the office/family room where our tour guide demonstrated the Xbox Kinect!

However, I was more interested in this little rocket! Just like the one outside!!

Our group then headed over to the kitchen!

It is a very beautiful kitchen!!

Karl was having a little trouble getting the recipe for the cookies!! lol

Outside, they have a cool table that has four touch screens!! It is entertaining enough for the children!!

I realized that I was more interested in the inanimate objects in the house than in the tour!!
I was distracted by this little lamp! It reminded me of the GCH for some reason!
My mom and I split up from the group and snuck away to the backyard!

I changed the TV to Wall-E!!

Above me hung these cute little lanterns!! These would be great for an outdoor party I guess!!

After our little treck in Innoventions, I couldn't think of anything else that I wanted to do in DL, so we went across the way to DCA.

I am going to miss you when you are gone, my dear Golden Gate Bridge!!

While in DCA, we met up with my dad and sister. She really wanted to go on TSMM! I agreed with her because I hadn't gone on it in over a year!!
The little ice cream cart, tempted me to get a Mickey Premium Bar!

They are very delicious unless they are frozen solid!! I prefer to let them thaw out a little bit so that I don't break my teeth!! But many times, I'm too impatient and bite into it anyway!!

Mr. Potato Head's face is just great!!

The line travels pretty fast for TSMM, plus my family likes to bad mouth each other when it comes to this ride!! That adds a little element of entertainment!!
