I was wondering if anyone has any information on some ideas of ps that the teens would like. We have never been and were looking of that wasnt so expensive.

My ds13 is not picky and will literally eat anything, however, if he got to select every meal (which he doesn't) these would be his favorites:

Casey's Corner; Dole Whip; Cosmic Ray; Sci Fi Dine In; RFC @ AK; Coral Reef; Rose & Crown; San Angel; Le Bistro de Paris; Yachstman Steakhouse; Flying Fish; ESPN; Palio; BlueZoo; Beaches & Cream

Hope this helps!

My DS (now 14) is a picky eater but eats up a storm at WDW. He really likes to "play" with the waitstaff at the 50's Prime Time. Also, this is the ONLY time he eats all his green beans because he knows what they will do to him if he doesn't. He also loves the breakfast pizza (flatbread) at Spoodles on the boardwalk. Kona Cafe at the Polynesian has since been added to our "must" list. We had dinner there on our last vist and it was great.
Another favorite is the Cape May Clam Bake. He really enjoys the seafood variety as well as the other offerings (and desserts).
We also got a couple of pizzas from the Spoodles take out window and brought them back to our hotel.
If you want to see the menus at the Disney restaurants go over to allearsnet.com and click on dining. A great deal of info over there.

Don't know if your teens are boys or girls, but we have 3 teen ds. Since money is an issue as you stated, its better to do a sit down lunch instead of a dinner to cut down on costs. Our ds favorite is rainforest cafe, espn at the boardwalk, crystal palace and chef mickey. They liked Mexico too at Epcot. For crystal palace you could do breakfast or lunch. Chef mickey has a breakfast option, cheaper compared to dinner. We also like the fantasmic pkg. at hollywood and vine at mgm.

My 14 yo picky dd's favorites on our last trip were the Biergarten and Whispering Canyon.

For counterservice, we love Cosmic Ray's and the Cantina in Mexico.

Enjoy!

I only have one teen left (son is 16), but daughters aren't that far removed. I also suggest if doing a sit down meal, chose lunch, it is usually cheaper. His favorites, in no particular order are - Ohana (sit-down dinner at the Poly), Chef Mickeys at Contemporary for Breakfast, Sci Fi Diner and Pizza Planet at MGM, Cosmic Rays, Pinochhios, and the Taco Place in Adventureland at Magic Kingdom, Mexico Counterservice, China Counterservice and Japan (where they cook on the table in front of you) in Epcot. He really doesn't like any of the places in Animal Kingdom, other than the Pizza Place. Hope that helps.

Primetime 50's Cafe at MGM is a favorite with my kids. They are in their twenties now, but have been going since l6 yo.

Also the Castle is fun for lunch.

For cheap eats at dowtnown disney, sandwiches are good and priced at $4.95 at Earl of Sanwich.

herc.

My DS (now 18) has always liked eating at:

MK - Pecos Bill's
Epcot - Le Cellier & Teppanyaki
MGM - Sci-Fi & Pizza Planet
AK - Pizzafari
DTD - Rainforest Cafe & Planet Hollywood
