Glad that you two told Mom, although she was pretty intuitive to read all of the signs and figure it out beforehand. She sounds like a great mother; waiting for him to come forward while she asked the Dr. quietly for advice just in case. You are a great cousin!!

umm Not sure what you mean here.. (please forgive me if I am in the wrong here since I don't know your intention on this statement) But WHY would I make something like this up I am using my own name even to post this.. I am honestly telling the truth and was looking for honest people's opinion because I love and care about my cousin and his health.. Plus I have been posting back and forth answering questions of helpful disers.. Again, if this is NOT what you meant, I am sorry, but that is the only defination I know of sinister..

Pagan Moon - I don't really think this is what she meant. Nutsy is from Australia, and maybe some words have slightly different meanings there. I don't think she thought you were making something up, just that she hopes the cause of the problem isn't something bad in a medical sense.

Hope everything works out well for your cousin at the doctors today . It sounds like you are all very close, which is lovely. Will be thinking of your cousin and looking forward to another update soon.

Also wanted to say, not sure what sinister means anywhere else. In the UK it would mean something threatening or tragic development. I'm sure Nutsy didn't mean you made anything up.

I know there are a few words that have a different meaning over here in the UK than in the USA. I'm sure it's probably the same with Australia as well.

Thanks for explaining that for me Denae. Pagan Moon...........I only meant that I hope it's nothing really bad and something that has a simple solution. Sinister means bad...........so I used it, meaning I hope that when you guys get to the bottom of all this that the outcome is not anything bad (Sinister).

Hi All !! Thank You so much for the Well wishes, Good thoughts, Caring words and Support..

ok so Went to the Dr and now my cousin needs to see a Urologist (sp)
It seems that his urin test came back with some higher level of protein then normal. The DR said it wasn't too high but he thinks that a specialist could run more intense tests. On Monday the DR is going to call and see if the specialist with suggest going to a Pediatric Uro. or an Adult Uro. Since my cousin will be 16 soon.
The DR is concerned that my cousin doesn't wake up when he starts to get wet or cold, that he sleeps through it completely until morning and finds out it happened again.
The DR also said NO caffeen (sp) and NO drinks after dinner. He even suggested less intake of drinks.. Smaller glasses full...

So now no more is known until the DR calls with a Uro. that will take my cousin as their patient..

Sounds like he has to do the same as my DS did when he was wetting the bed.

No caffiene drinks..........no drinks under 2 hrs before bedtime, but we were told with DS to increase his fluid intake (esp water). Not waking when he wets is very much like what happens to a bed wetter also.........some of his symptoms are very much the same as a bed wetter, yet the Doc seems to think it could be more than just simple bed wetting.

Hope it all turns out ok and he doens't have to endure too many tests.
