I'm going on the Wonder from April 21st-25th 2002. I'm 15 and looking forward to being able to have the teen spa package, but has anyone tried it? Since I'm paying the $69 myself, I want to know if it is worht it.... and do the salon workers pitch sales a lot on teens?
Thanks in advance!

My daughter didn't feel it was even close to being worth the money (with tip it was $80). The spa person didn't speak to her at all which made my daughter uncomfortable. She did receive a little beauty kit but it wasn't anything special. We're cruising again in June and she has no intention to repeat. Perhaps if the attendant had been more friendly and the cost less she would consider it again. She was very disappointed. Luckily, there was no pressure to buy anything so she didn't have to deal with that.

When I went on the cruise, I didn't know anyone who did that. In fact, I doubt many people at all did. Personally, I think there are a lot more fun things to do on the cruise, so you'll probably see something you'd rather do!

Well whatever you do, have a great trip! :D

when i went on my cruise (i was 14) i had wanted to do this, but we waited until after dinner to call (being novices w/o the help of the DIS), and the lady said it had been booked almost immediatly after the ship was boarded... kinda of a bummer!

$69 seemed like a bit much to me ,so i just looked back in my cruise scrapbook. when i went June 8-10th 2000 it was only $49! A big difference in my opinion --- especially when you are paying for it urself as a teen. Maybe they have added things onto it in the past two years, (my teen navigator says it included mini facials, mini pedicaures, and mini manicures.. ) and maybe thats why the price changed so much.. i just thought that was interesting...

Debg, Thanks for the advice, but I actually like it if no one talks to me during spa treatments. I like to relax during those times. And AFgirl325, since I've been on the cruise before, this spa treatment IS the different thing that I want to do. pReTtYpRiNcEsS , That change in price sure is peculiar.....
