We (DH, DD14, DD6 and myself) will be sailing on the Wonder 5/9/04. When we sailed this past May my DD was 13 and went to Common Grounds. She thought it was a neat place to be but had a slightly difficult time meeting people as most were from the same group, therefore she didn't go to the club much. Does anyone have any ideas as to how she could meet more people or fill her time if not in Common Grounds?

Also, has anyone done the Teen Junkanoo while in Nassau? She thinks she would like to do that. What are the pros and cons?

TIA!

My 14 yr old did the Teen Junkaroo Jam and loved it but she also loved the clubs.

the best thing to do to meet people is show up the first day. meaning be one of the first to get to common grounds the first night and hang out there for the day. since its the first day kids are usually meeting people that they'll talk to for the rest of the cruise. don't be afraid to talk either. if you over hear someone talking about something you know about or have an interest in jump in. everyone says go to the 411 to meet friends but for me i've always met them before the 411 while i was sitting at common grounds doing nothing.

as for the Teen Junkaroo Jam on Nassau, idk i've never done that or been on Nassau.
