Some teenager's have babies because they want to be loved by someone. Maybe some teenage pregnant issues go back to family problems.

Or,
it was an accident that they just didnt protect themselves.

I just dont believe in premarital sex.
That goes with religion.
Shoot! I dont even DATE until 16, let alone do something like that.

thanks for sayin that, im glad not all people think teen parents cant handle it i have my days and yeh my boy is bloody hard work sometimes but theres nothin in htis world thats too much for him and i will give him everthin he needs not just materially. its nice to no thats people think like u

But that does not mean all teens are rebellious and cannot take care of a child .

But there's ways to PREVENT pregnancy. Just don't have sex, period. That's a 100% guarentee that you won't make mistakes.

True. But you miss out on A LOT when you have a child to take care of. You don't get to truely experience things before you're ready to take care of a child.

They somehow mess up their contraception (such as wearing a condom that's obviously too big or it breaks, or not taking BC at the correct time everyday). They have sex, but seem to forget that contraception is not always efficient enough to keep them from conceiving a baby.

I believe you should be in a stable emotional and financial situation before having a baby. And teenagers just aren't. You have a life in your hands, a little person that is 100% dependant on you. That is a whole lot of responsibility and you should be completely ready to take that on before getting pregnant. But mistakes do happen, and I can't judge any pregnant teenager on what kind of mother they'll be.

Then those types of people need to help themselves before they can take on the responsibility of taking care of another human being.

I can see that you'll always love your child no matter what. But you'll never experience say, the dating scene. You'll always have to get a sitter, etc. You shouldn't ever WANT a child as a teenager. You're making yourself grow up too fast.

I havent seen Baby Borrowers or The Secret Life of an American Teenager but I believe that have a baby as a teenager is a horrible idea. I mean teenagers(including me) do not have have the skills to have a child. Like my cousins all had babys at a young age with there boy friend and I look at them now and think what were you thinking. There boy friends have ditched them, there living in poverty, they barely can make enough money for them alone and now they have a baby care for and babys cost a lot of money and children cost more. I mean it may sound like a wonderful idea now but what about 10 years from now when the baby is 10 and dads left and your life is screwed. I mean I just think its a bad idea kids dont have the skills to be a parent I mean there just minors and they need there own parents.

Youre missing it.
Theres no need to get angry, I dont think youre quite understanding what we are trying to explain.

You just dont have sex until youre a grownup.
If you have sex, prepare that there could be a 50 percent chance of having a baby, EVEN IF you use protection.

This is a thread about Teen Pregnancy, and that was what my post was about. Did I ever mention that all adults or no teenagers were ready for pregnancy? No. So there's honestly no reason for you to be getting so angry. Try reading my post first instead of jumping to conclusions.

My point of bringing that up is, a teen is just coming out of being a child, the older the get, the more like an adult they become, the more WISE the are, to make better decisions.

It may not seem that way, theres no way YOU or I would know, you have to find out when that time comes.
