Wow to Amber - it is only a matter of time before that rage goes from Gary to Leah. She needs serious help and fast. Gary seems like a good Dad but he has no ambition. He needs a J-O-B so he can build a life for his daughter without Amber.

Maci - Ryan is a snake. She gave him more visitation than she should have if she wants to keep her child support from him. I can almost bet that is what was going through his mind in trying to get close to half of the time with him. I don't see Ryan wanting Bentley more often for any other reason than to reduce his financial obligation to Maci. She walked right into that one. I applaud her for wanting to work it out like adults but I don't think she was thinking about the big picture. Did they also work out who drives the child back and forth from Chattanooga to Nashville? That isn't an easy drive unless you like driving through the twisty mountains on the interstate.

Catelynn - Expecting A's and B's? That report card didn't shock me at all. I think she made the best decision for Carly. She knew what the environment was and wanted better for her child. The pictures of all of them in People magazine are adorable!

Farrah - I hope she reaches out to Derek's family for help. Sophia is part of their family too whether she likes it or not. The Aunt seems to be a good person and want what is best for Farrah and Sophia. I see Farrah as a spoiled brat too but I have to give her props for working 2 jobs to try to support her baby. Most spoiled brats would spend more time crying "poor me" instead of working. Farrah does her share of that but she works too. She also seems to find time for coffee with her friends a good bit.

I was happy that Ryan gave in a little and they didn't have to go to court.

Gary, he needs to keep Leah far away from Amber, that girl is nuts. He just stood there and let her hit him. He has a lot more control then I would have. I'm be shocked if after last night show. Someone in that town doesn't call the cops and fills them in on what she does.

Farrah, I think she a drama queen I think all those tears were fake and for show.

I started watching last nights show. And already I'm complaining about Amber's terrible mother skills. Leah doesnt have fitted sheets on her bed, but I noticed Amber is sleeping on a fitted sheet. Also, I just watched her put a crying Leah down and to keep her quiet, she gave her a cup full of blue drink (I'm thinking its either fruit punch or kool-aid) I'm sure that will be good for her baby teeth.

Amber needs to have baby Leah removed from her care ASAP. She is abusive, immature and down right negligent in her care for that baby!

Farrah needs to get real and deal with her grief. Its only going to break her down if she doesnt.

I am so happy to see Tyler and Catelyn making a better life for themselves. Sad the home life they come from.

Amber~ She is out of control. I applaud Gary for getting Leah out of that situation. Amber needs to take a good hard look at her life and make some changes to not only better her own life but Leah's as well.

Catelynn~ Not surprised that neither she or Tyler were going to graduate on time. They have been through a lot and at least they still want to graduate and have a plan to go to college. I like that they both have good ideas on what they want to do with the rest of their life.

Farrah~ I go back and forth each week on how I feel about her. I think that seeing Derek's sister and talking about him might actually help her move forward.

Maci~ I applaud her for her approach with Ryan regarding custody. She did the right thing for Bentley in a civilized way.

But I will say Amber had to have had a very dysfunctional upbringing and NOT that she was ever abused BUT she had to have seen things from early on to act so angry and full of rage towards Gary all the time.

She is now taking that Krav Maga (my DS takes it as well) and the instructors do NOT condone this type of rage and aggression at all.

I think she would benefit more from a YOGA class. Something that will CALM HER DOWN and some place she could go when she feels all bottled up inside.

I would think that Gary would indeed have some rights to possibly getting Leah if he were to take tapes of this epi to his attorney.

I'm sure it's been said already but how can that type of abuse go on and nothing is done about it. The film crew should have headed straight over to the police. After they stepped in and prevented Amber from hitting Gary again. I feel sick watching it.

In last week's Entertainment Weekly, MTV clearly said that they would step in or contact authorities if there was a dangerous situation or someone was breaking the law. WTH? Doesn't someone beating on someone else in front of their kid fall under that category? Shame on MTV for not calling the police.

Did anyone hear Gary ask Amber if she was taking her meds when she hit him? He kind of said it under his breath, but then she answered as clear as day "yes, I am taking my medicine!" I think that girl has some kind of mental illness. She just flies off the handle for the littlest thing. I really worry for that poor baby.

I felt bad for Farrah last night. I think her mom never allowed her to grieve for ex-boyfriend.

If it were Gary hitting Amber the police would've been called. The double standard is so sad. He could've fallen down the stairs and broken his neck for goodness sake! I hope he gets full custody of Leah...he seems to have more patience and takes better care of her.

I love Maci, but have to point out her little Jessica Simpson moment... when she was cooking dinner and Kyle said Ethiopians would have died for those two pieces of pizza she threw away... she said "What exactly is an Ethiopian?" I LOL'd.. did anyone else notice?

Yes- that was pretty funny!

I noticed Amber giving the blue drink to Leah too. Ugh, that child is in for a life time of dental problems (among other things).

AMBER....Screaming at gary get out of my HOUSE I pd for everything in here. I wanted to scream at the TV NO WE THE TAX PAYERS ARE PAYING FOR YOU TO LAY AROUND AND WORK ON YOUR GED! Poor Leah the baby doesnt do anything but aimlessly roam around the house when she wines she gets shoved in her crib. She only wants the baby to keep her vwelfare. Feel sorry for C I think alot of drug useage in that house.Mom wasting lawyers time did she think he was going to do for free? It cose a grand just to walk in the office. Farrah is a selfish user only using that sister for dna and never talking to them again. In PA you need so many credits to qualify. Watching her culinary skills she wants to open a restaurant and dont think she will land a job at DEnnys. New cook practice what they learn not cook frozen pasta or rice and bottle of Barilla no wonder Sophia fell asleep she wanted to miss dinner.Plus her reaction to the fire YIKES! I dont think she misses Derrick she left him. I think if she had another BF she wouldnt even remember his name. I think she thinks she will never get anyone else.If she truly cared for him she wouldnt hurt his family that way and reach out to them.

If Gary hit her... he would be behind bars right now and custody issues with Leah. I have always disliked Amber for hte way she treats him. He has his faults... but holy smokes! He is better off not with her! Thank god he didnt fall down the stairs. I sincerely hope that someone somewhere saw that and has or will step in and make her gets some anger management. Leah doesnt need to be around that. Gary does need to keep her!

I felt for Farrah too. I agree, dont think her mom let her have the relationship with him, or let her grieve. i think that is where alot of her hostility towards her mom comes from. And WOW! Does Sophia look like her dad!!

I stopped watching the show a few weeks ago - just can't stand to see that poor child at Kaitlyn's house (her younger step-brother?) hearing all that swearing, screaming, and the mom chain-smoking with the dad in Jail. It is so sad and depressing. Sounds like it's gotten worse the last 2-3 shows. Sorry, just can't do it anymore.

I just watched it today and MTV knows it's domestic abuse because they show the numbers and websites to go to if someone is suffering from domestic violence right before commercial breaks!! Amber is a hot mess

I am not in any way justifying what Amber did, (I gasped out loud when she kicked Gary in the back when he was walking down the stairs) but we really have to look at the whole picture here. Like someone mentioned above, she may have come from a bad household where she learned this awful behavior. Last season we know that amber was put on meds for depression, but maybe it wasn't diagnosed right, the possibility of bipolar disorder is there. And my final point is that Amber is obviously an extremely lonely girl. In the first season she struggled with trying to get her GED, raise Leah, and just trying to be happy. Amber's family is broken and she doesn't see them much and everything fell through with Gary, so I think when he told her he was taking Leah away she panicked. There's a mother-daughter bond there and she was fighting for her child (again- I AM NOT justifying her actions) by natural instinct. Amber became a mother at young age and dropped out of school and Leah was her only friend.

Gary did the right thing by taking Leah, I think everything needs to be figured out with Amber's mental health before she's allowed to take Leah back.

And I completely agree that if it had been Gary punching Amber, the cops would have been involved. Most likely the clip wouldn't have even been shown. What happened was awful and I really hope everything is worked out.
