Teen Jobs

im a soundman for my sisters band... im also a DJ... getting gigs is really unsteady though.. sometimes, there might be up to 3 or 4 gigs per month, and each gig is about $100 pay... but than theres a few months where theres no gigs at all >_< ... i need a real job haha

Currently i'm a Sales Associate at SportChek - I make $8.25 an hour plus 4.2% commision ONLY IF I make over $900 in sales in a 5 hour shift.

Sometimes reaching that $900 is no problem, especially on days like Boxing Day - I sold $9,000 worth of product in a 10.5 hour shift. Other times, the store is dead and i'm lucky to make one sale.

I've had other jobs in the past such at soccer ref for 1 season, and I delivered the local newspaper for 7 years.

i work at wdw at epcot.
i only get paid $7 an hour....

im a cashier at sears.
mall jobs are the best. :goodvibes

hours are really good. and the people i work with are amazing. i actually dont hate going to work. :goodvibes

I will be most likely working around this time next year *hopefully*, (not old enough just yet), but I don't want to say where in case I jinx it :o

:hippie:

I had a summer job, at Lighthouse Putt & Bat (mini golf)
It payed really good, and it was an easy job.

But now, I need/want another job.
My mom wants me to work at ACME, but half the school works there, and I kinda don't want to work there. I've applied there before, but never got a call, but my mom wants me to apply again. Lol.

But I really want to work at CVS or Blockbuster.

I worked at an amusement park thsi summer, for only 5 days. I made about $7 bucks, but they treated their workers like crap.

The past 2 summers I have been training for a job at the elementry school(s) for summer rec, where kids go from 9-1 and play, games, etc. AFter you do the 2 years of training with no pay, you get paid $700 dollars a summer. Also, I hope to get a job at teh local golf course caddying.

I have to wait 6 months till I turn 16 than I will probably get one at Dairy Queen or Babysit around which I have been doing.

And now I know why people are leaving their crappy jobs at Timmies for sports stores.
If I thought I had any talent at selling people stuff and new the first thing about sports equipment, I'd be working there in a second.

At SportChek there is more than one department, so we sell more than just equipment. You could work in the clothing department known as 'Soft Goods' or you could try the footwear section. So if you worked in either of those departments you wouldn't have to sell any equipment.

If you wanted an easy job with comission then I would go for the footwear department - all you have to do is measure up feet and find the correct shoe in the back; and because you have to find the shoe in the back you'll make comission off of it. So basically, for every shoe you sell, you will make comission.

no job, but i don't have time for one
but i do need the money
oh well:goodvibes

really? Here the city pool pays $12.75 an hour, and like 14 if you work before school.

Currently unemployed, i should probably get a job this summer if we don't go on vacation

the six dollars an hour is crap, for 8 hour days.
I have no idea how they get away with it.

and the 16 dollars, its a private pool, where its very expensive to get a pass to swim there.

A TON of people only get paid $6 (or less) an hour.

=)
My mom said that if I could get a job at that scrapbook store she'd let me.
So now all I have to do is apply and get my license to drive to work and school and if I get the job I'm all set!
So maybe over the summer I can apply.
Yay. I hope I can work there.

I wish 13 year olds could work and get some money.

But I've tried everything and nothing but babysitting is open.

And I'm not so sure if I'd be OK with babysitting.

Ima worry wart :P
