No job yet.
But I really want/need one.

I want to start earning money instead of asking my mom or getting it from my grandma.
And so I can get things I want.
There is this scrapbooking store in this close town next to us that I'm pretty sure will hire.
My mom and I have been in there many times and the owner is especially nice and I think if I try she [the owner] will let me have a job there. =)
And my mom wouldn't mind me working there at all. And hopefully I'll kill my fear of driving by then so I can get there myself.
That's my goal for next year. To work in that store. I love it there. I'd like to work there to start off instead of mcdonalds or sonic like everyone else at my school.

I'm thinking of getting a job at Old Navy, Winners (it's like Ross) or Homesense. They all seem to need people right now, especially Old Navy. I want to apply somewhere where I'm almost certain to get a job.

In March I can certainly get a job at WalMart (my mom's friend is a manager there part-time after she get's off her office job) and she's already said how she'd love to hire me. Especially with my volunteering background. I don't really want to work there though, at least not as a cashier.

Maybe our local diner, or Kohl's/Old Navy/ I know Shoe Carnival is hiring right now.

I don't know, we'll see in March. But I'm definitely getting a job then.

And when I'm 18, I plan to work as a clerical in my mom's office (while doing college part-time) then move up to case worker. Confusing, I know.

I've been at my current job for almost 2 years.

I work at an AMC movie theatre. It's honestly the best job I could ask for.
Everyone who works there is like 15-23 yrs old, so we all get along really well. It's sooo easy to make friends. We have alot of social events (actually tonight we are having an overnight event where we stay overnight at the theatre!!! i'm excited!)

I also get free movies!! Which is THE greatest thing ever. ANd sometime we get to pre-screen movies, so we get to see them before the general public. My sister works there with me so does my best friend, and I've made a TON of new friends there.

It's just really fun to work in a friendly and relaxed environment, even when it gets really busy, we always find ways to make it fun.

The only thing I have to complain about is the pay, 8$/hr, yuck! But I'd rather be getting paid min. wage at a job I love than getting paid more to do something that sucks!

I'm a waitress and a free lance photographer. (I make more money waiting tables, but i don't have very good hours. I'm basically a cover girl. the photography is just to supplement my income)

Once i get back from wdw, i plan to look for a new job. I've got my eye on a couple local restaurants/stores.

LOL, I just applied for my first job this morning. Yeah, I probably should have quit slacking off and gotten one ages ago, but at least by waiting I now have a shot at a job that I really, really want. The only work experience I've had before was volunteering at the library doing things that the full-time librarians do for pay, but that was alright 'cause I love helping those guys out. Other than that? Nothing. I never even babysat or anything like that. :confused3

I work at CVS (drug store) as a cashier/floor clerk. It's probably one of the crappiest jobs out there. It's so boring!! I do pretty much the same thing everyday. It's require so little creativity and skill that I think a monkey can do it. But whatever. It's pays the bills..barely.

I've worked there for a year and I make $7.15 an hour. That's crap. My head manager just put me in for my year raise a couple days ago, even though I've been working there for a little over a year.

Luckily the people are really awesome there, except for 2 people (who don't talk at all). The managers are awesome and they love me b/c I'm such a great worker. I do all my work well and fast. So I can pretty much do my own thing there sometimes.

Im going to start looking for a job before the summer vacation. Its just the fact that I have such a heavy semester coming up, it would be impossible to work and finish my school work.

I dont have one.
I think I'm going to apply at CVS or Walgreens or a resturant soon because I just turned 16.

I babysit, but of course that job doesn't really keep well.
I also can't get a job anywhere until I'm 16, my mom has been asking around.
I'd like to work at Blockbuster.
Or HEB.
I dunno.
But I really need a job because I'm trying to save up for a Laptop.

I have no job. Sad, I know. But I'm away so much that I don't have time to work. I've got sports left and family right. Then school is up and down. I'd apply for a summer job, but I'm going to Paris this summer and most places frown on the taking of two weeks off within your first month or two.

I work as a barista in a coffee shop. I've only had my job since September, but so far I like it. The hours are kind of long; my shifts are generally eight hours. We get free drinks and food though, so that kind of makes up for it. (:

i do need a summer and winter job, that and i only get 3 games on saturday and 1 or 2 on random weekdays

so if i got a good summer winter job i might keep that for sundays during soccer season

I'm a lifeguard.
during the summer, and not.

during the summer, i'm paid 6 dollars an hour, which isn't worth it.
so i'm thinking about moving up to a private club where i'll work for 16 dolllars an hour.

then i lifeguard at the school pool for 7.15 an hour.

I'm starting the best job in a few weeks..

MCDONALDS!!

All through out High School summers, I used to babysit for my neighbor's kids. It was fairly regular, at least 2x a week. She paid well and the girls were angels most of the time.

The summer before college, I worked at Atlanta Bread Company, making coffees and serving the pastries/bagels.
This past summer, I worked at Lowe's Home Improvement as a cashier.

I will probably be returning to Lowe's this summer, unless I get an internship somewhere...

really? Here the city pool pays $12.75 an hour, and like 14 if you work before school.

Currently unemployed, i should probably get a job this summer if we don't go on vacation
