Could someone tell me about all the teen activities on the cruise? I really cant find to much personal opinions about them. Is the teen area fun? Do you have to meet everybody there? What about shyer teens?:Pinkbounc

Which cruise are you going on?

I just returned from the Western 7-day, and my daughter (14) had a blast! She especially enjoyed the Teen Catamaran Fury at Cozumel (this is a DCL excursion with Common Grounds counselors aboard).

She also went with me on a 3-day to Nassau last Sep when she was 13 and loved it too!

Just go to Common Grounds the 1st day when you board. We always go in the afternoon when parents are allowed in to look around. Then the counselors take it from there and help break the ice.

Trust me, you can't help but have fun!

JenniferIsbored, check out www.castawayclub.com and click on the Western Navigators and then the teens. It is all the Navigators from the 5/25 western cruise. My kids can't wait to go in 3 weeks, and they have been on 2 other Disney cruises and they are teenagers. Lots of fun!!

we also have pictures of common grounds the teens hang out

When I first got to the teen area everyone was quiet, but as more people arrived everyone relaxed and started talking. I was there by myself and had no problem. I met four other girls that were there by themselves also. One night the sky box was closed for teens only. On other nights there was a pool party, karyoke, and glow in the dark basketball. I always felt safe but we traveled as a group since our activities were over around 2 am. When we went to castaway cay I did the wild side and had sooo much fun. I only did one thing with my parents the whole time and it was the banana boat ride. Every time I would go into common grounds it was packed because there were so many teens. I have been on 5 other cruises and the Disney cruise was my absolute favorite! :earsgirl:

Jenniferisbored,

Of course you will have a wonderful time and I predict you will be cruising with another nice family from across the street. I couldnt resist replying to your post.
