Technical question about buying points

Hi, I'm hoping someone knows the nuances of Disney's operations to answer this. I'm trying to get my foot in the door with the small amount of money we got as wedding gifts, then upgrade later.

If I buy a 25-pt or 50-pt contract from a resale now, I can then buy more points directly from Disney at some future point, right? Does anyone know what the limit is where they'll let you finance additional points vs having to buy them outright?

Yes if you buy a small contract resale you can add on points through Disney later.

The minimum is 25 points if you buy them outright or 50 if you need to finance.

If your looking for a small resale, contact the brokers and discusses your requirements. Don't wait for the listing to be published on their website. Most smaller contracts are sold before they are listed.

Oh, that explains it. I checked one site last night and there was nothing. Then by 3pm today, three 50-pt contracts were posted and already listed as "sale pending" and I couldn't figure out how they went so fast.
