I am off to read last years report again because today we got a PIN for free dining during our Thanksgiving trip... that happily has us reworking our dining schedule. By any chance is Boma, Ohana, or Marrakesh in the future? My DH is insisting we be adventurous with our eating being free and all

The meet looks SO fun. We are having one on a MUCH smaller scale in Sept/Oct and your pics and description are getting me so excited to meet other DISers!!

Hope the restaurant plans are coming along well! I just read in Food & Wine magazine today about another hot dog place. It's all the rage!

And the fern on this tree that looks sooooo brown and dead-

-is a resurrection fern that was very, VERY green by the next day... they actually pointed it out to us on the Flower & Garden tour on Tuesday. We were soooooooooooooooo hot at that meet, and a day later? Sooooooooo wet & cold!!!!

I live in Independence. I am sure you have not heard of that, but it is about 15 miles south of Olive Branch, if you have heard of that. My mom would like the way you describe your granddaughters being held hostage. My parents live in Louisiana so they probably think the same way.

I know where Greenwood and Greenville are. Is Olive Branch close to either of those?
Yep, most grandmothers are in favor of a law that grandchildren should be required to live no more than two hours from their grandparents! We don't mind if the parents live there too!
