I am so excited for another Griswald/Team Renfroe TR and Dining Report! I think yours was one of the first I lurked on last year! :goodvibes
Yes Alan does awesome TRs !! I hope you all will check out mine as well even if I am nowhere near as good as Alan I try to make it entertaining and I will find a way to post some pix !!

Alan, Alan, Alan, what can I say? The shirts came and... I LOVE them!Washed them last night so they would be dry when i got home this evening and they can be packed for the trip!:cool1: You did a fabulous job on them.

Hope all your restaurant dealings are going as planned.

Well, we are down to the wire, aren't we? See on the 17th:thumbsup2

:woohoo: Single Digit Dance!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

:banana::yay::dance3::cool1::cheer2:

I am excited for you!!!!!! Only 233 days left for me. :rotfl:
I can't wait to read your TR and see/experience the MEGA MEET through it.

I second BOMA BREAKFAST. Did you see my recent pics on the Food Pictures thread? I posted them a while back, but someone asked, so I re-posted. And I didn't get pics of everything on that buffet. It's amazing!

I am going to Boma this trip too!!

Alan - Can't believe your trip is almost here!:woohoo: I can definitely recommend both Boma and Wolfgang's. We did Boma for the first time last year and we're not big breakfast people, it blew us away! Haven't been to Wolfgang's in a while but we've always enjoyed the variety of dishes available.:goodvibes

Thanks, Kathy! I'm thrilled that we are now only ONE WEEK AWAY!!

I think we have come up with a good alternative plan. I will elaborate in the next post.

Happy Single Digits!!!

:woohoo: :dance3: :woohoo:

YAY! Thanks, Lady! I know YOU are not too far behind us!!

Since my hubby & his brother are both Chef's, Wolfgang Puck's was a must do for us. (there are 6 of us that have started going to WDW every yr. me and DH then my bro n law, his wife and 2 kids.) It was great and we all thoroughly enjoyed it. Loved the Barbecue Chicken Quesadilla for an app and the Asian Hoisin BBQ Ribs for my entree. the bbq sauce is yummy, what can i say! I would def recommend this place!

Oh, I think we have come up with a great plan that might include Wolfgang Puck's.

Happy SIngle Digits!!
:cool1::banana::banana::yay::yay::cool1::cool1:
See ya next week!!

Thanks, Mary! We'll see ya at the MAMMOTH MAY MEET!

The Griswolds are ready to pack up the 'ol family truckster and take the whole tribe across country. (Actually, it's only like 10 hours for us!)

Yes Alan does awesome TRs !! I hope you all will check out mine as well even if I am nowhere near as good as Alan I try to make it entertaining and I will find a way to post some pix !!

Awww...thanks, Rosie. I've got to tell you though....I can't WAIT to read your trip report! We will most certainly have some great pictures from Sunday's event!

I am excited for you!! And we will be in disney around the same time! Yippee!:banana:

Oh how cool! Have TONS of fun!

Woohoo!! Glad you finally go the t-shirts. I was pleased with the way they turned out.

Things are moving along swiftly with the restaurant plans. Our LLC was finalized yesterday and we got our Fed. Tax ID number. We have a meeting with the bank this morning to secure funding, and we will sign the lease on the building before we leave for Disney. SO....as soon as we get back from our trip....we will be BUSY!

Yes, we are definitely down to the wire. I am moving into vacation week mode....I won't be wearing any of my vacation clothes over the next seven days. IN fact, I plan to pack probably on Sunday.

I LOVE the single digit dance!!! Is there anything better? Maybe the actual day that you leave.

233 days may seem like a long time, but it will pass by before you know it. I still cannot believe that it has been a WHOLE year since our last trip!

We ate at Boma for breakfast last year and LOVED it. Except for DD. She started getting sick after breakfast. (It was a stomach bug, but she associates breakfast at Boma with getting sick. Personally, I LOVED it!)

I am going to Boma this trip too!!

It is SO good, Rosie! Be sure to try a little bit of everything.

Well, the plan has always been to leave on Friday, May 15th around 11:30am. (Our kids have school, and they must be there until 11:30 to be considered present for the day.) ANYWAY, we have gotten an excuse for them that includes Friday, May 15th. SO....we are now going to be leaving EARLIER!!!

Now, we are planning to leave at 7:30am, which should put us at WDW around 6:30pm. Since we still have extra dining credits, we are going to schedule a dinner for Friday night. We want to try something new on that evening. Since we have 6TS credits, we are thinking about doing either Wolfgang Puck's, or the Grand Floridian Cafe.

Hey, 4 extra hours of DisneyWorld sounds great to me!!

Oh yikes - I am 10 months and 51 pages late to join in!!!!!!!!!! :scared1:

But at least I will be able to sign up for your trip report before you leave! :lmao: I so enjoyed the last one!
Have a safe journey and a magical time! :goodvibes

Wow. Your final itinerary looks great. I can't believe your trip is right around the corner. We're considering CSR for our trip next summer so I'll be anxious to hear what you think the 2nd time around there--especially with the room rehabs. Have a great time! :woohoo:

Thanks, Bibbidi. I can't wait to get back to CSR again! Usually by now, it is plenty warm enough to go swimming here in Alabama, but we've had a really rainy spring....so we haven't been in the pool yet this year. SO....we can't WAIT to go to the Dig Site pool! I have requested one of the newly refurbished rooms with the queen-sized beds - let's keep our fingers crossed that we get one!

Your itinerary looks great, Alan!

Thanks LL! Hope you all have a safe and wonderful trip as well! :wizard:

Well, things are moving right along with the plans for opening a new hot dog restaurant. We got our LLC papers finalized last week, got our federal tax ID number, and opened a bank account. This week, we will finalize the lease for the building, and meet with the local building inspector for a walk-through.

In addition, I found a key piece of equipment we need for sale on ebay. Since it is SO heavy, the freight was going to be outrageous. As it turns out, the guy selling the item lives in Swainsboro, Georgia. He will allow me to pick up the item in person on our way back from Disney World! Swainsboro would be out of the way from the way we would normally go home, but we have determined an alternate route. After leaving WDW on Friday, May 22, we will drive over to Daytona, get on I-95 North, and try to make it as far as Savannah, GA. The next morning, we will drive to Swainsboro and meet at 9am to pick up the equipment.

How cool is that?

So happy things are going so well! Congrats on an extra 4 hours at Disney. Glad to hear that the restraunt is moving along! You will have to let me know how WC was. We eat there on Wed.
