We are checking in on December 8 and staying through the 15th! Were you planning on going down for Mouse Fest at all? We chose our dates to be around Mouse Fest and the scheduled shuttle launch at KSC. Mouse Fest has since been canceled for this year, but the DIS may do some sort of event. (I HOPE SO!)

I can't wait to read reviews of AKV and BLT!



It would be SO MUCH FUN to be there during Star Wars Weekend! I can't wait to read about it Alan!!

We didn't plan around Mousefest, but when I found out whan it was we thought about extending our trip. Guess that wont be as important now. It would be fun to have a meet though!!

Sunnie - When in Dec. are you there?

The girls are I will be there Dec. 8-16th; the three of us could try to plan our own DIS meet for Dec. (and make all these May DISmeeters jealous! )

And, btw, I'm still resisting the urge to check airfare for May. This would be a no-brainer if the girls weren't w/me that weekend; but since they are, I'd have to find arrangement for them. Unless.......... I ask the ex to switch weekends with me. Oh dear.

Oh ya'll are so romantic. I love celebrations like first date, first met...etc. I am trying to decide if DH and I should have a dinner for ourselves while there. He is just such a picky eater....... It seems though that ADRs are easier to get right now.

Hi Brook! You know, when I first read that May 22nd would be the first Star Wars weekend, I thought it might be cool. But the more I think about it, I really think it will be AWESOME! I've been reading some other threads about what to expect and it sounds like an absolute blast! We will definitely be there at rope drop to see the Stormtroopers on the rooftops!

Hi inkedupmomma! Great to see you here! We really enjoyed reading your report and looking at your pictures. I'm excited about all the ADRs! We LOVED CSR on our last trip, and I'm even more excited now that they have those queen-sized beds. woohoo!

Have you been on the Deluxe Dining Plan before? It's a LOT of food, but we really enjoy fine dining as part of our vacation....so we do a lot of 2TS dinners.

I know what you mean. If Star Wars weekend didn't start until Saturday, I probably would have extended our trip by one day. (Fortunately, it starts on Friday, May 22nd....so we'll be there!) We were originally going to spend most of the day at DTD, but not now!

Oh, and I'll keep badgering Cammie until she gives in!

Hi Cammie! The airfare is REALLY low right now! Down economy....good time for a DISmeet! I'm just saying! You can justify it....we know you can!

Hahaha!!! I would like to take credit for being romantic, but I don't want to misrepresent myself here to my friends and readers! But seriously, we are very much looking forward to celebrating our first date at the Yachtsman Steakhouse on our last night at Disney.

WOOHOO!! We did it, fellow MAYers! I knew we could keep twisting Cammie's arm until she would join us for our MAMMOTH MAY MEET!!! (as it shall now be referred to!)

I realized that I haven't given an update on the family in awhile, so I thought I would share some recent pictures in this post and the next post. DD9 is LOVING her new camera she got for Christmas....she's such a poser!

This is our other family member that doesn't show up in the trip reports - Truman. Trust me when I say he is a BIG BABY!!

Next post - SOMETIMES, on rare occasions, it actually snows in Alabama!
