I'm almost positive more training would have helped. I'm sure my knee will always hurt a little over a long distance but I've gotten used to it. Hopefully I'm starting early enough to take very gradual increases to avoid over training. I actually plan on doing biking until the weather gets nicer. So that combined with the walks should give me a good, low-impact start.

Steve! What breed of dog is Moose? We have a "crazy, but we love him" Border Collie, Blaze. Now, one would think with 6 of us in this house, that he would get a walk everyday, but he doesn't. I try to take him with me as often as I can.....it's not enough. His favorite pass time seems to be "herding" my children
. I'm going to use you and Allyson as my encouragement to walk him more often.
Take care guys and have a great day.
Oh, and you can go to
it!
You can imagine, however, that you have perfect weather.
