Team Mickey - Biggest Loser "No Excuses" 2012 Challenge

Well darn. Just realized I lost/forgot the QOTD in there somewhere. No bad feelings about the 13th because DD11 is a 13th baby! Not born on a Friday but we get a Friday the 13th birthday when they come around. And 2 of my best friends growing up have 13th birthdays so it is a pretty happy number for me! :goodvibes

Hellooooo Team Mickey. I just wanted to let you know that I have updated the first page of the thread to add a QOTD archive. I will try to keep it up to date.

You can never know what is the 100% right decision and most of the time there isn't any right or wrong way, just the best choice you can make at the time. You may not know what was right until you have some hindsight to look at. I struggled with the decision to homeschool my kids when I pulled DD out of school, regularly while we were doing it, and when I decided it was time for them to go back to school. While at times what I was doing may not have been the perfect decision it was the best decision I could make with the information I had at the time. Give it the rest of the year and see how things are going. I think when we make a big change we have a sense of loss of the situation we were familiar with even if it may not have been the best. Does that make sense?

Totally makes sense.
We'll see what happens. I do know for sure though that DS11 can not go back into that building until something changes with the angry kid. He will seriously hurt someone before it's over.

Hey Mickeys you're so fine! ::MickeyMo

I hate the scale there! Idk why, but sometimes it just goes off balance, and I didn't have time yo try and fix it today!

I get a free training session on Tuesday and Im hoping to use the "real" scale there. Ill also get my BMI... not overly excited to hear that:scared:

Too bad they don't trade you something for your scale repair work! ;) Remember just like the scale, BMI, is just a number, it's not who you are! :goodvibes

I am challenged by the multiple quote function, but I am learning...

Looks like you are learning quickly, Michele! ::yes::

(And I even spelled your name right today -- sorry I messed that up yesterday. :flower3:)

Evening all. I'm a bit disappointed that the scale doesn't seem to be moving and I'm tracking, working out, drinking my water. UGH!

Hang in there! Whoosh is coming! :yay:

GaRain :welcome:!

You are changing the way you eat and finding new healthy things to replace the things that aren't so great so even with no loss you have still had a great week. :cheer2:

So true! :thumbsup2

DH said I am turning into his grandma-- with the coffee stuff in my purse (remember the sweet and low "pills" grandmas used to carry before you could get it in the restaurants?) and a ziploc bag to put the leftovers in!

I'm so impressed with your planning and taking charge of your success, LTS! :yay:

Grandmas were smart ladies. :goodvibes Mine carried bread bags because baggies were too expensive. :lmao:

Hellooooo Team Mickey. I just wanted to let you know that I have updated the first page of the thread to add a QOTD archive. I will try to keep it up to date.

Thanks Janis! :flower3: That is a big job!

Totally makes sense.
We'll see what happens. I do know for sure though that DS11 can not go back into that building until something changes with the angry kid. He will seriously hurt someone before it's over.

Good for you for keeping your son safe! I don't blame you for being frustrated -- you've done a lot for that school. :flower3:

Have my last bit of speedwork before the Tinker Bell this morning and then I can taper! :yay: We all seem to need to hibernate and get some R&R around here so it will be an easy long week-end!

Don't forget to PM those weigh ins and HH numbers and include Team Mickey! :smickey:

I am so happy that I found this group!

First of all a BIG thanks to those who maintain it, the weekly coaches, and pretty much all of the Mickeys (and Donalds too)! I am finding that I am learning so much from everyone's experiences. We all take a different walk in life, we all have different life experiences, different goals, different motivations and different dreams. But it the end it seems as if we are all trying to be the best version of ourselves! It's great to be part of a like minded group. It's also good to know that everyone struggles from time to time and that everyone has successes along the way. Keep up the good work Mikeys!:woohoo:

What I have learned about myself:

1. I snack way too much. I didn't even realize how much random snacking I did until I started writing it down. (Thanks to the Healthy Habits challenge). It's amazing how little I am snacking now that I have to be accountable.::yes::

2. I can make much better choices. I didn't realize how many empty calories I was eating until I again started tracking. LOVE myfitnesspal! SOOO eye opening!:scared1:

3. There is absolutely no excuse for not exercising at least 20 minutes a day. Even though there were a couple of days that I plain just didn't feel like it. I couldn't come up with a reason not too. So... I just did... and felt really good about myself afterwards!:good vibes

4. It's really not that hard to drink 64 oz a day if I just fill a large mug (x2) and keep it out and sip. Before I know it, it's gone!pixiedust:

5. Oh ya..... Jillian Michaels lies! (30 day shred). When she says a couple more.... she really means 52, not two! ba, ha, ha!

Now to start my second week. I am looking forward to continuing along this path and picking up a couple of more healthy habits this week.

Have a great weekend everyone!

Thanks everyone for all your support and encouragement! It means a lot. Well, I have to be flexible today because my trainer can't run with me until tomorrow. I was really looking forward to getting that 13 miler out of the way this morning. She is running it with me (THANK GOODNESS!). She just moved into a new gym studio space and the painting of her floors is taking way longer than she thought. Tomorrow would just be easier for her. I really want to run this with someone (especially with the news about the Montana teacher) so I can be flexible to tomorrow morning at 7:00. I'll make sure and post to the group how it went! Now I get to clean the house today. I think I'd rather run the 13 miles, lol.

If anyone hasn't heard of the news of the Montana teacher who disappeared while out for a run last weekend, here is a link to the story. Be careful and aware out there, people!

:wave2:

My jar sealers came!:yay: I went and picked up jars for a quarter each at the thrift store, bought new lids, came home and washed and sanitized the jars. So far I have a vacuum packed jar of Tzatziki sauce I made the other day and hope it will stay good longer that way. I have 2 heads of lettuce in the fridge that I will wash and cut up this weekend and hope that means less work during the week for great salads!

I met my friend for breakfast at IHOP. I ordered a Rooty Tooty meal-- 2 scrambled eggs, 2 pieces of bacon, 2 pieces of Turkey Sausage and 2 Grain and Nut Pancakes. No sugary fruit stuff and butter on the side. I knew I wasn't going to eat it all and since I wasn't going home I didn't want a big styrofoam carton to deal with so I brought a lunch bag with ice packs, a small container with a lid and a Ziplock bag. When my food came I put half the eggs, the bacon and one pancake away for later. I ate the rest for breakfast and was very happy! I love those pancakes. When I got home late this afternoon I reheated the rest and had that for lunch. I think it is really important to ask for a box ahead of time and portion out the meal before you start eating. I know when I am with friends and we are all talking I may not notice that I ate the whole thing when I only meant to eat half.

I also took my favorite French Vanilla Coffee creamer in a small container since it is my one big splurge each day and I really didn't want half and half or milk and sugar which is what I would use at the restaurant but don't really like. DD11 was watching me get ready and she said that was very embarrassing to bring my own creamer. NOT with my friends! I had put mine in a little discreet container, my friend brought her whole bottle of Italian Creme flavored creamer and set it in the middle of the table!! :lmao: We are both lactose intolerant too so it is much easier if we bring our own. DH said I am turning into his grandma-- with the coffee stuff in my purse (remember the sweet and low "pills" grandmas used to carry before you could get it in the restaurants?) and a ziploc bag to put the leftovers in!

So I hit the ground running (not literally!) with a full belly and did a ton of errands, got my allergy shots, a flu shot, blood drawn, bought a new trash can (I like to live on the edge. . .) and ended the afternoon at Walmart to get the jar lids, fresh veggies and something for dinner. Ran into an acquaintance near the check out that I haven't seen in a while and we got in line together so we could catch up. As she was getting ready to leave she said "oh, and you look like you have lost a lot of weight". You know what? It really, really NEVER gets old hearing that!!!:teeth: I get a little  when someone says something but inside I am going :dance3:.

No exciting plans for the weekend other than we have to go to Costco-- we are almost out of meat and that is where DH likes to buy it. Also need a ton of other things so that will probably be a "date" for us. The girls would most likely rather have their fingernails ripped out than go with us to Costco so DH and I will get some time for just us. . . . and the 500 other people at the store on a Saturday. School is out on MOnday so I need to see what they want to do. They have been working so hard and going full out with school so I suspect the answer will be stay home and have a jammie day to catch up on some TV shows we have recorded. Sounds good to me!

Got to go work on my Costco list before I am too tired to see straight. Everyone have a happy, healthy ON PLAN weekend!:cheer2:

Awesome on the jar sealer! And what your DD11 said about taking the coffee creamer to the restaurant sounds exactly like my kids! lol

Good morning Team Mickey! I'm discouraged that I'm up a pound after working so hard this week. Not giving up. Saving some room for some snacks at my grand daughters bday party in an hour. Hope you all have a good Saturday.

Just reporting in...

4M + 4M + 4M + 11M + no candy at work = manicure! :yay:

I did it! I did all my scheduled runs and did not snack at work this week, so I'm going to give myself a manicure. :goodvibes

Now I just have to keep my snacking reasonable during the playoffs this weekend, and I will be all set :thumbsup2

I need a new reward for the same thing next week -- I'm thinking I might go crazy and do a pedicure :rotfl: Winter feet are neglected soles in my house ;)

Hellooooo Team Mickey. I just wanted to let you know that I have updated the first page of the thread to add a QOTD archive. I will try to keep it up to date.

Awesome, idea, Janis!

QOTD Saturday, January 14: I have a "weak" time of the week--on weekends, I find that I am MUCH more likely to go over on calories or slack on the exercise. Ironic because I usually have more time then than during the week. So do you have a "weak" time of the week? Weekdays? Evenings? Weekends? And what do you do to DEFEAT your weak time??

Have a great MLK Weekend Saturday!

Thank you Janis for all your work. Great idea and very helpful - especially for those you can't quite keep up :lmao:;) Thank you to all the leaders. :goodvibes

Hi Team Mickey!

Checking in from my mother-in-law's home here in southwestern VA. This place is full of food-related pitfalls for me - coupled with a general laziness because MIL will get up with the girls, letting us sleep in! LOVE THAT. But this morning I thought I'd get up and go exercise at the Y down the road. And I did! I did 35 minutes on the elliptical and 10-15 on the weight circuit, and I felt great. It's pretty cold out, which drives me indoors, so I'm glad I got an inside workout done.

That also seemed to kick me into gear for food. I had my Luna bar and an apple for breakfast. We took the girls to lunch and to see Beauty and the Beast this afternoon. Lunch was at Red Robin, and I got the BBQ chicken wrap, holding the cheese and ranch dressing and subbing broccoli for the fries. Angelic, or what? Just had Diet Coke at the movies. Tonight DH and I get a date, and we're doing dinner and a movie. I'll be careful on the dinner menu, but I'll enjoy it, for sure.

Tomorrow night is my real splurge - I'm an awards show junkie and have a tradition of wine and dark chocolate m&m's while I'm watching. I'll be on couch from red carpet to the last award, and I'm pre-tracking my big bag of dark chocolate deliciousness. Talk about the splurges you won't give up! :)

Weekends are definitely it for me. My work and home routines during the week really help me stay on plan, but the weekends tend to involve more unplanned (read: snacking) time and more opportunities for making poor choices while we're out.

To combat it, I try to plan ahead and pretrack as much as possible. For example, if I know we'll be having lunch at Panera at the mall, I hit the Panera website at home beforehand, use the nutritional calculator to figure out my lunch, and pre-track it (with a backup in case something's not available). It works often, but not 100% of the time. It's a work in progress...

Hope everyone has a great weekend!

Hello All,

Feeling a bit better this morning. I my voice is back yay! I'm still congested and having coughing fits but I feel better. So today I went and got a haircut, nothing crazy just about an inch and half off. Something to make my hair more manageable especially since I'm going to gym more often. I also managed to book our flight so now I have to really get busy planning our trip.

Congrats on the maintain! That is a win!!! Don't worry about the job. Another opportunity will come up soon! :thumbsup2:

Thanks! I'm told myself I would not beat myself up over this week. Yes I do hope another opportunity does come up soon.

Either way I am happy with that...didn't expect any loss. So that means I'm down 5 for the year. My goal was 5 pounds a month so I'm really happy with that.
Congrats on meeting your goal for the month :woohoo:

Sorry about the job frustration. Ever hear the term feed a cold-- starve a fever? It's hard to lose weight when you're sick-- just get lots of rest, warmth and fluids. I always take the standard C, garlic and echinacea tabs too. I haven't been sick in over a year. Well-- other than 2 nasty uti's. I think it must be all the cranberry juice. :confused3
My mom just gave me a similar speech about getting in my vitamins. Yeah I need to go shopping sometimes I forget I'm pushing 30 and think I'm still in my early 20's :confused3
Tonight is pizza night and it is the one thing that I am not cutting out at all! We go with my DD's BFF's family every Friday and it really makes me work out harder, knowing that on Friday I will have my delish pizza dipped in ranch dressing! Fatty I know.. but I plan my calories accordingly!
I won't give up Pizza Fridays either! Its something by dh has been doing since he was a child and when we got married we kept it going.

Evening all. I'm a bit disappointed that the scale doesn't seem to be moving and I'm tracking, working out, drinking my water. UGH!
I'm going to get up and go to Zumba or muscle pump at the Y in the am. I typically work out every day but Sunday. I have my granddaughter birthday party tomorrow also (she's three) and then my daughter and I are going to a Bridal show on Sunday (she got engaged earlier in December). Going to do my best to keep on track and really hoping to see the scale move in the right direction.

Happy Birthday to your granddaughter! Wedding planning how fun! Those bridal shows are a lot of fun, tell your daughter to sign up for all the contests you do get some amazing deals.

I know you don't want to hear this but a maintain, especially while conditions are not optimal, is a victory!! Hope you are feeling much better and that you find the job that is meant to be yours soon!
Thanks for the support! I'm ok with it I knew it wasn't going to be a big loss if it was a loss at all. I'm was just hoping it wasn't a plus.

 No gain is a lot to :cheer2: about. Bummer on the job, hopefully the next opportunity is right around the corner. Can you take the exams that you need?

Take it easy and let your body work on getting better

I have been using this stuff called Spike seasoning. The original has salt but they have one called Veg It that is very low in sodium (not sodium free though). It has a great flavor and adds to a lot of things I make. I really like it in eggs.

Sometimes those sick days have to be used on ourselves so take them when you have to.

Yes I can take them whenever I'm ready, but New York State just changed the exams so the new ones are supposed to be out Mid Jan. (right about now). So I need to take a look at the new format and get ready to take them within the next month.

1. I snack way too much. I didn't even realize how much random snacking I did until I started writing it down. (Thanks to the Healthy Habits challenge). It's amazing how little I am snacking now that I have to be accountable.::yes::

I can apply these to me as well. It is amazing what writing things down can do for you.

Good Job! I bet that reward felt extra special! Hope you get that pedicure ;)

Awesome, idea, Janis!

Ironic because I usually have more time then than during the week. So do you have a "weak" time of the week? Weekdays? Evenings? Weekends? And what do you do to DEFEAT your weak time??

Have a great MLK Weekend Saturday!

My weak time is also the weekends. My gym is by my job, and there are no locations by my house so I don't visit the gym. I try to make up for it by walking around my neighborhood running errands and cleaning the house. Since we are all at home there is a lot of snacking going on. Last week I stocked up on Skinny Cow treats, and Weight Watchers baked goods for those snack attacks.

That sounds great! I'm an awards show junkie as well and now you put that idea in my head! :rotfl:

Evening Mickeys!

Today was another busy day in our house. We spent most of the day with my sister and BIL at their place. My sister and I did some shopping as well. I didn't buy anything really exciting for myself. I did get another package of socks. I am convinced that we have a mouse in our dryer. :rotfl2:

I stayed almost OP. I am slightly over my calories, but okay on points. I rejoined Weight Watchers on Thursday. I like the "new" version of Points+ better than the original version as of now. I did not do well with the original at all. I am going to give it a chance for a few weeks and see the results. My emotional support comes from all of you! Weighing-in in front of a person is just extra motivation. ;)

I'm not sure what tomorrow is going to look like yet. Dinner will be leftovers, so OP. Lunch will be fine. I may attempt a GF baked good-type breakfast, like muffins. So far, they have been a disaster. My parents respectfully refer to them as "mystery muffins." :rolleyes1

I also have to talk to my parents about where my GF corn flakes and GF Rice Krispies went. :confused3 I know they taste like the real thing, but the corn flakes are expensive!

I think my plan for tomorrow involves grocery shopping. The good news is that I only need to go to one store! I spent some time looking at sales ads today and narrowed it down to the one store. Then, I worked on a basic list. I'll finish making my list either later tonight or tomorrow morning. I have this strange quirk with my computer and it refuses to connect to the printer network, so I have to use a computer connected to a printer. That, of course, means that I have to share with my parents. :rotfl:

Now, I could handwrite the list, but it's takes seconds to click on the item in the circular and then have the store's website print out a list. One of my pet peeves is wasting time and it already takes long enough to grocery shop. I appreciate one aspect of grocery shopping going quickly.

Ok. Enough rambling and venting.

I think I will spend some time job searching and then work on the grocery list. I am wide awake so I doubt I'll be going to bed anytime soon. I might as well be productive tonight since I forsee myself sleeping in tomorrow. :headache:

Have a great night Mickeys! :goodvibes

!
When I was journaling there were times when I was too lazy snack-- it wasn't worth the effort it would take to go and write it down! Easier to just get a glass of water and walk away. :rotfl2:

Jillian not only lies but she is insane!!! :rotfl: I tried it a few times but if she thinks that fat people can get up and down off the floor as quickly as she was moving she is nuts! I would still be heaving myself up on the coffee table and she was already just about done and ready to get back on the floor!:lmao:

I just bought a Groupon for half off a mani pedi at the place I go to. When I change the number in the tens place ( 10 pounds off) I plan to go and get it all done.

I think weekends are my downfall too because the schedule tends to be more relaxed and my kids are around eating things that tempt me. I came down this morning to the smell of cinnamon toast one of them had made and it was killing me. I try to just stick to my plan.

Hi Team Mickey!

Sounds like you are doing great! :cheer2:

Remember that Dark Chocolate does have some very healthy properties (seriously!) so if you are going to splurge that is a very good choice to make. :thumbsup2

So glad you are feeling better. Get to that trip planning! Sometimes I think I enjoy that more than the trip. :)

I also have to talk to my parents about where my GF corn flakes and GF Rice Krispies went. :confused3 I know they taste like the real thing, but the corn flakes are expensive!
I mentioned a few pages back that you might want to get a plastic box to put your GF stuff in so maybe you want think about that, and get one with a lock!:lmao:

Glad you are liking WW-- I think it does help to have a specific plan to follow. I have a recipe for some GF cheese bread/buns here that we liked. If I come across it I will send it to you.

:wave2:

Made our Costco trip today. WTH was I thinking going there on a Saturday? It was crazy!!! I had saved up some carbs and splurging in hopes of some good samples but they were all terrible! The only thing I ended up having was a tiny piece of ham. What a bummer. I was hoping for some brownies or cheesecake or cinnamon roll or something yummy that I would only be able to have 2 bites of. We ended up with 2 carts full of stuff

I have mentioned that my flavored creamer is my one can't give up splurge. I just love it and it really makes me happy to start my day with a yummy cup of coffee in a Disney mug. But with all splurges when you are trying to reach a goal I decided I should at least try again to use the FF or Sugar Free version. I really really dislike the SF one so picked the FF. I had it this morning. :crazy2: It was horrible! The only thing worse than no coffee in the morning is a really terrible unsatisfying cup of coffee. :guilty: So I am going to try a compromise tomorrow and mix the regular and the FF and see if that will work.

Tomorrow we will spend a few hours repackaging the meat we bought. I would like to try to do some freezer meals-- I just got 2 books on it from the library. DH isn't really thrilled with the idea of "pre cooking" stuff and freezing it but whenever I have done it behind his back he has no idea!

Everyone enjoy the rest of your night!

We ended up with Frozen Pizza for dinner. We got 2 new ones at Costco we both wanted to try. Mine was a very thin crust (meaning low carb!) Chicken and Garlic Alfredo and it was yummy. I only had 1/4 of the pizza which was less than the serving size on the box, and then one piece of DH's cheese pizza. I had my eggs and Turkey Bacon for breakfast and a huge salad at lunch so hopefully it fit nicely into the day and doesn't bite me on the scale tomorrow, especially since I didn't get anything good at Costco!

Evening my fellow losers!

Home from 2 days in NC. Got in a bit of a nap before Ash's basketball game. Enjoying my last day of eating and drinking freely! Tomorrow the workouts and extra water and healthier eating starts in again!

Took a small gain this week. Tomorrow my plan is to do a WATP in the morning and then do some Just Dance 3 with Ash and if I can squeeze it in, my first BL Kinect workout.

Been discussing with Brian what we can do to help him lose some weight. Going to sign him up for ichange. We also hope to do some workouts 3 nights a week. I hope to lose 15 pounds and he hopes to lose 50 by the cruise in 5+ months. If we really set our minds to it we can both get there.

Girls just went to bed. We are watching the Patriots game now. Will have another drink some time during the game. Still very tired but just hoping to stay awake during the game and maybe a nap during half time!

Izzie has a playdate and Daisies tomorrow. Ash is going to get some homework and projects done, plus set up her sewing stuff downstairs. She won her basketball game today.

I think it's time for some water!

TTFN :tigger:

Okay this isn't going to be to terribly long because its going on midnight in TX and I need to get to bed.

Okay, now I realized why I HATE driving straight from FL to TX. We left Friday morning at noon. We didn't get to TX til 6:45 this morning. Our GPS had a blonde moment at some point in Louisana and we wound back up in Mississippi somehow. It took us an hour to get turned back around. I slept on and off in the car but was sore as all get out when we finally got to our hotel. We got checked in and immediately crashed. Alan got up a few hours later and went and met with his buddy to pick up the money from the sale of our tow trucks. While he was doing that I stayed at the hotel and talked on the phone with my mom and then called my best friend to figure out what the plans were for the day.

I finished the phone call with bestie and then we ran to Chase to deposit the money. Yeah, that was a fun experience, LOL. The guy that was helping probably thought I had robbed a bank with the amount of cash I came walking in with . We got the bank situation taken care of and then met my bestie at Red Lobster. I had half a salad, shrimp scampi, chicken breasts tenders, mashed potatoes, and a glass of tea.

After lunch Alan took the Juke to the Nissan dealership to get the oil changed and tires rotated. Bestie and I headed to the mall. Back in October when I started this journey all over again I had set rewards for myself for each 10 pounds I lost. My first "reward" was a pedicure. Well, I decided to fore-go the pedicure and do some shopping. Lane Byrant was having their semi-annual sale so I picked up some bras (major need). I saved $28 bucks! Then I went to Bath and Body Works and spent a small fortune , but wound up saving $62 dollars. We had bought tickets to see Beauty and the Beast and sat outside the theater chit chatting before heading in. I got a medium Mr Pibb and a box of Raisinets. I drank maybe a 1/4 of the soda and ate half the box of candy.
She dropped me back off at the hotel and I've been sitting here relaxing since. Alan is asleep already.

Plans for the morning include getting up, getting checked out, and heading to the cemetary to visit Josh and Maddie's (my late husband and 2 year old daughter's) resting place. Its a bit out of the way but I told Alan that was the only reason I wanted to go with him to begin with. Plus, its been a year since I've been out there. The anniversary of their death is in 12 days and I know going to visit will help me to get through the next few weeks. The days leading up to the anniversary tend to be the hardest. The day of I'll actually be in Daytona Beach with Alan relaxing and just trying to take some time for myself.

Everything is tracked in my Sparkpeople. I had used my app on my Blackberry but went back in tonight and made sure everything was added correctly and tracked everything I had ate today. Surprisingly even though I've been eating out the last few days I've stayed within my calorie range.

Well, I'm off to bed. I'll update when we get to our hotel in Pensacola tonight (its after midnight).

So yesterday, My oldest Corinne (13) gave me something major to think about in this weight loss journey I've started on.....

We were all on our way to the girls gymnastics practice and Dh and I were discussing my rewards for my weight lost. What we have decided on, is I get $5 for every pounds lost to put on my PayPal card for clothes. I have thought long about this, & I decided I sabotage myself every time I set out to do this because I am worried about having the money to purchase new, smaller clothes. The last few years have been a real roller coaster of job loss, disability, new jobs...etc Finances have been tight, and the thought of needing new clothes for me seemed impossible.

So we were discussing this plan (dh actually wants to do another $5 per pound from his separate account we have for his work expenses) and Corinne asks is she can go shopping with me as I lose the weight. When we asked her why she said, "Because I want to go shopping with you when you are happy to be buying clothes. You are never happy when shopping for yourself".

I had never really thought about it. I only buy for myself when I absolutely have to because I hate how things look on me, the lack of selection available or just the fact that there is nothing to choose from.

So that is a new goal for me... to lose enough weight that I can go shopping with my daughters and enjoy it and buy things for me!!

Good morning fellow losers and maintainers :flower3:

These threads are flying, so I'm not even going to attempt to keep up with them and all the weigh-ins that have been coming in.

I did want to jump in quick and remind people to keep sending their weigh-ins. We're seeing some great results this week :thumbsup2

Hope everyone has a great Sunday :goodvibes

Hi everyone, sorry I haven't been around much but I've been really busy! I have today and probably tomorrow off, and I think my roommates and I are going to do some parks today. I have a cold, but I was able to sleep for about 9 hours last night so I'm feeling a little better. I'm going to straighten up my room, go do some laundry, go get our missing kitchen supplies and update the blog.

I had a bit of a NSV yesterday. I got all dressed up in my business clothes and took a picture. The pictures didn't turn out that great, but I realized that I actually looked slim-ish! Then when I went to costuming later in the day, I found that Disney really does not want you to look attractive at all. The shirt fits pretty well, but the pants are ridiculous. I was a size 20 in pants (normally I'm like a 16) and they assume that if you have a large waist, you must also have a large butt and hips. There is so much extra fabric around my hips and thighs that I can literally pull it like a foot away from my legs. But here's a picture of me in my costume.
