Team Hakuna Matata

Good Morning from windy Wyoming! We had a great trip to Antarctica and Rapa Nui (Easter Island). Still trying to get back to normal schedule here at home. Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving.

You are living the life! Antartica! Wow! Are you going to write a trip report? :)

Rick, no, I do not do trip reports, I will eventually scrapbook the trip, Scott did post on FB while on the trip.

Wishing all my Hakuna Matata buddies a very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

Count me among those that returned from Walt Disney World Marathon weekend with a cold.

I'm quite positive I caught it from my Dad, who bunked with me and was sick the whole time we were there :(

Feel better soon Kipp!

We are back from our weekend trip to Salt Lake City. The 100 day challenge is going well. Just ordered the Fitbit Zip, we are looking forward to seeing how they work.

Have a great day team!

Good Morning Team!

Hope all of you who are injured or sick are feeling better.

We are having fun with our new Fitbit Zips. Scott is even entering his food into the profile, and I think he is competing with me for daily steps. We have signed up for a 5K walk/run later in the spring, so one of these days, we will have to walk more than around the block with the dogs. I think we are just waiting for better weather, it is hard to walk in 30+ mph winds.

Have a great day all!

Hi Team.

Just wanted to post to say that I'm still out here and still racing. Went to WDW for the ToT and plan to do it again this year. I'll be there again later this month for the Enchanted 10K. (I waited too long to get in for the Princess.) I'll be running this time for GKTW, so I'll be in the red dotted shirt, but still plan to wear my WISH visor!

Lynn...I've have a Fitbit One for some time now. Really enjoy seeing my step count, but I'm not so good about going online and entering my food, so kudos to Scott for that.

Glad to see that our team is still here. Don't know when or if I'll be back for marathon weekend, but I hope our paths will cross again sometime.

Glad to see you Mary!

Spent yesterday in Ft Collins, CO at the CSU Vet School Clinic with Kali. She is doing well on the chemotherapy, the tumor in her liver has not grown at all, meaning it is working. It was a longer day than usual, considering the road conditions, took us 2.5 hours getting down instead of the normal 1 hour, drive back was better, just about 1.5 hrs. So, only exercise I had yesterday was walking Taiya around parking lots on our various stops while we were waiting for Kali.

We are still enjoying our Fitbits, even if it says I should be losing weight (calories burned are exceeding calories eaten) and I am not, have been the same for almost a week now. Guess it is time to shake up the exercise.

Have a good weekend team!
