I'm soooooooo I heated up a WW smart one's chicken parm for lunch. I sat down to reply to my favorite people and knocked it off my desk...everywhere! So, not only did I lose all my quotes, I had to clean up the mess, and now I have no lunch. WHat I got to eat of it was good though

I'm trying. Not so much strictly adhering to the points, more just watching what I eat and eating more of the right stuff..KWIM? Veggies, fruits. And I am actually eating breakfast now, which I never really did before. Seems to help becasue then I am less hungry later.!

Wow, last night's sleep was the worst yet. Midnight to 3:30 am. This is really starting to wear on me!

Mel. Hope your appt went well and that you can find out what's causing everything.

It was! Migraine, ugh. But the always-effective combo of 3 sips Pepsi, a Sudafed, 2 advil and some red wine did the trick. Don't ask me why it works, just know it does, lol!

I'll be filing this little tip in the back of my head next time a Migraine comes on. Myabe it'll help me.

The kids have PE in a few minutes, so I'll be gone for most of the day. I'm taking the kids to Grandma's tonight and we get to have a date.

well yesterday was a great success!!! we went all over the city. I took a bunch of pics ill post over the weekend.

Have fun at MOPS, Lori. I did MOPS for six years and served as Coordinator of our group for two, finance for two and MOPPETS (children's program director) for one. It's a great way to meet people and a wonderful support system for us moms! When friends have their first babies, that's the first thing I tell them to do!

I had a nice time. This was my first time going and it was nice meeting new people. Plus it got DR and I out of the house, especially during the winter time.

Well I may be shoveling snow this weekend, but at least I won't be MOWING THE LAWN in JANUARY!!!!!!!

That's what I was thinking! Although...I think I'd like to see some green grass instead of the white stuff.

So last night I woke up at 1:30ish with burning pain - nothing a little Vicodin couldn't fix though. Today I just look ugly and feel gross. I look like someone slapped bacon on my eye and forehead. At least the lower half of my face is ok and I can throw on some Jackie-O's and look normal.

Got nothing but planned today. Maddie needs new shoes, but I doubt I'll get to the mall today. I'm just not in the mood, KWIM?

So last night I took the boys to the vet and when I got home i started feeling excrutiating pain in my right heel (which happens to be the foot that is getting operated on). I never had heel pain before (the other problem is near the toes). It was so bad this mornign I came to work with a cane as I can't put full pressure on it without seeing stars.

I can't call the Dr today as Friday is surgery day. I have an appointment already for Monday so I will have to wait until then.

We are expecting a nice dumping of snow tomorrow , so I will spend the weekend on the couch and maybe bring some work home.

I'm not sure why I'm so tired, I did spend all morning cleaning and then went on the Wii Fit. I then answered 7 questions, loads and loads are waiting, so it doesn't help when I get personal ones I think I probably *gasp* need a break from the WWW!

Jon has a BIG IEP and Re-eval today.

Every three years they re-evaluate a student's progress and need for further testing. We'll deny that.

Now that he is in Middle School, they begin to plan their degree plan. I knew it was coming. It just seems so soon.

I was told that they would be putting Jon on a "Certificate of Completion" plan. That means they feel he will be unable to complete the requirements for a diploma. I have ALWAYS known this. It's not a surprise. But, sometimes it's just jarring. Sort of a "reminder" of sorts.

I also expect to have to fight for him to keep services. Once they transition to secondary...the schools don't like to give them ancillary services. (i.e. speech, OT, etc) There is a belief that once the children get to a certain age...all "hope" is lost.

Also...they changed his schedule with the new semester and they jacked him up. Honestly, it's good he's not in school today.

So, I'm fixing to change hats. My mean momma hat will be on shortly. I am ready to code switch.

Send good thoughts. I tried to get an advocate down here with me, but she wasn't able to come in today, but we met the other day. I hate being a *****.

Busy morning for us. I'm about to drop Linds off at school then DR and I are headed to our first MOPS meeting. Gets me out of the house and him too. After that he's in preschool and I need to drop Lindsey's b-day snack off at school. Once all of that is taken care I'm coming home and taking a little nap. My sinuses and throat are killing me and I need a little rest.

A lazy day until I go to work.

I ordered a new purse from the Southwest Indian Foundation last night. Not cheap. Real leather. I bought one from them 8 years ago. It is showing some wear on the bottom and corners. I had to 'jimmy-rig' one of the strap clamps that broke a few months ago. Here's a pic of the one I just ordered.

I want to start a PTR soon for the trip Rockie and I are taking. I need to find some of my high school stuff. There is also a framed picture of her and me from the trip my DDad and I took 19 years ago. It was taken in one of the oldies picture shops near the Boardwalk. She is going to kill me when she finds out what I'm doing.
