Hi everyone! Sorry I haven't been on TFW thread for a few days. I'm hard at work getting ready for our Christmas trip next week. 4 more days!!!
We had fun yesterday, my daughter's car died and we had to get it towed to the repair shop. $1000 later, and a new fuel pump, it's as good as new. Figures that this would happen right before our vacation. Ugh. Looks like there will be a few less purchases in WDW.
Hope everyone's doing well. I still have to catch up with the old thread, but I happened to notice the new one & I had to try for page 1!

Got the tree decorated this morning and had Andy pull everything out of the shed so we can get started. I feel like such a scrooge waiting so long!

Well the tree is up and another installment is done on my TR so I've been busy Oh and I picked up my cup at the presentation, my partner didn't turn up though So I'll have to tell him off

This morning we paid off our cruise!
It is a chilly chilly day here , -20(-4F) outside. I have been hibernating in my room curled up under all my blankets reading.
I just checked the weather, it has warmed up a bit and is now -7 (19F) still pretty chilly. I totally wish I could come winter in New Mexico!
I have to take a break from my reading, my vision is going hazy. Instead I am going to upload pictures for my next TR installment. It will contain the most shocking WDW moment you will have ever read about..... A few of you who were at the Petals meet already know what it is so hush up, don't want to ruin the shock for everybody else.

SOrry Jo, I haven't been around all day
She said that she thinks they'll be able to go back home IF the power ever comes back on. They didn't have any damage visible in the lower level (water ran down THRU the walls) and they hadn't lost clothing or gifts that she knew of. The major issue is no heat and no power. It's supposed to be in the single digits tonight! She told me to tell you thank you though. She also said, "Who are those people? They don't even know me." LOL. I told her you're angels.
If I get any more info, I'll pass it on.

One thing that I probably won't mention on my TR but thought you guys would think it was funny, when we ate in France I kinda got chatted up by a very good looking French waiter, he said he loved my accent and was very attentive

Good Evening all. You tried to lose me but I found ya - HA!
Left the house and went to breakfast at Friendly's. From there we went to Five Below and got Jimmy's pollyanna gift. Went to thebest store to buy some surprises for TInkerbelle's stocking. Went to Bed Bath and Beyond, then to Cracker Barrel to pick up a gift card. From there we went to Wally World (and for the first time ever went in and got everything I was looking for
). After that we headed to the mall so Jimmy could drop his letter to Santa into the Mailbox at the Santa Village. He did not get his picture taken. Didn't want to and we didn't force him.
Got home about 4:30 and started wrapping. Wrapped everything that is not Jimmy's. Gave Jimmy his bath and he is currently curled up on the couch watching Santa Claus is COming to Town and Jim is cleaning the basement! All we have left to do is wrap Jimmy's presents and write out the cars for Jimmy's class. I wrote out the envelopes, Jimmy will sign his own name!
Dawn -- I got Jim the Richard Petty Ride Along for Christmas. ($49 if anyone is interested) so you are going to have to tell me how K likes it!
