Brrr Lessa! I thought it was cold here!
Ok, so I spoke with my sis briefly today. She's still at the friend's dad's apartment (whew!) with the baby. The older kids are there with her for now, but they're going back to my mom's after dinner. They can't all go there because my mom only has 3 bedrooms and one is hers, one is the spare and one is the room my 86 year old step-gramma uses!
She's in good spirits, the baby is such a happy guy! The insurance guys can't get to her today. The "dry the house" people can't come because there's still no power. She said they did finally get a tarp up but the guys who did said that the tree smashed the joists that hold UP the roof, so it's pretty much resting on the ceiling of the upper level!
She said that she thinks they'll be able to go back home IF the power ever comes back on. They didn't have any damage visible in the lower level (water ran down THRU the walls) and they hadn't lost clothing or gifts that she knew of. The major issue is no heat and no power. It's supposed to be in the single digits tonight! She told me to tell you thank you though. She also said, "Who are those people? They don't even know me." LOL. I told her you're angels.
If I get any more info, I'll pass it on.
BTW, I did talk with CE last night. She was in great spirits. D was on his way, she got her generator started ALL BY HERSELF and she had wine.

She texted me later last night and said D was there! So, she's good for now. BUT, still no power.
