I'm tired and need coffee..........

I went to a jewelry party last night - Silpada. Didn't buy anything though, since I barely ever wear jewelry. Can't justify buying it to let it sit on my dresser, you know? But it was a chance to get out and have a girls' night. It was fun and we chatted all evening.

Jodi- Do you plan on buying anything from Uppercase Living any time soon? I have one thing I want, but I don't want to contact someone from here who will be on my case all the time to have a party. I've been looking on eBay to see if anyone will list the one I want, but not so far.

I don't have any plans to order anything. I love the stuff, but until I re-do another room, I can't see myself getting anything else. I have a friend who had a party not too long ago though. Let me ask her who the consultant was and see if I know her. Then maybe we can add something on to a party she has in the future for you and then I can mail it to you?? Let me do some checking....

Has anyone heard from CE?



No big plans for us today. I may have a friend coming over this afternoon/evening. The kids and I were in her wedding last June and my dad taped her wedding ceremony. I have no clue how to get it from my camcorder to a DVD so she might be coming over to see if she can get it to work. It all depends on our weather though. I think its just raining right now and that might be all we are getting. Who knows when it comes to things like this. LOL

But, if she does come over I need to clean up a bit and get the kids to at least straighten their toy room out. Its a total disaster area!

KC actually proposed to me in the subway part of the terminal, on bended knee and everything.

My BIL proposed in GCS too.

We headed 2 blocks up to the movie theater where we saw Valkyre.

I really think I'd like the movie, but TC really annoys me.

So can't sleep in anymore huh Tell me .. what's it like to go on a date with your hubby.. have a NIGHT with NO kids ??

Have not done that for 3 years and counting ( had a date that is) have not had a Night without kids.. since April 1998 and that Killed me.. leaving Joshua for Puerto Rico for 4 nights, and Pregnant with Sarabeth.

We had an INTERESTING NIGHT last night
in Short... Sarabeth sliced off the Top tip of a toe and ripped the toenail off.( the one next to her little toe)
She somehow kicked her dresser just right and ...
I had only had 4 hours of sleep the night before... so this freaked me out. and I would up sleeping with her last night.
See freaked out.. and it seemed she was trying to "ShocK" on me.. so I had to keep ordering her to stay with me and to talk about things... finally she calmed down and calmed down when Scott put on her Hanna Montanna wig

She's fine today.. but obviously toe sore. There was just a sliver of the toenail still hanging.. To Protect the nail bed it was recommended to leave the loose nail there a few days.. it would eventually dry and fall off.

As for DL, are ya'll seriously thinking of going? We are/have been considering it, but it never seems like the right time. I saw a SW ding last year for $75 each way to LAX; I wished I had jumped on that.

THis is one of the reasons I am so happy that mom and dad are CM's. We never have to buy tickets, unless we do something non-disney That plus the 35% discount on merchandise and 20% on food allows us to go every year. If we didn't have that it would be an every other year (at least) trip for for us!

I am seriously considering it. I WOULD HAVE HAD some numbers this morning to see if We can swing this thing.. but we had a small mishap as you have seen. I have a friend that works for Delta.. and we can fly for 100x4 round trip I think. I neeed to check on that as well.

Hey Katt! First of all, I did get my hair done. Cut and colored.

Nextly, we are not using DVC points for DLR because they don't have any DVC properties yet. They are in the midst of a renovation of part of the Grand Californian to make some of it DVC, but it will not open until late this year. In fact, they aren't even selling it yet. So, we are staying at the HoJo's right across the street from DLR. The "on-site" hotels were really expensive and I couldn't find a huge benefit to staying at them since we're only going to be there one night. And from what I've heard, the HoJo's is actaully closer to the parks than the DLR hotels anyway!

Yes, yes I am! Those types of things really gross me out! Luckily DH is an EMT and used to handling those types of things, so I just let him! He's the "qualified medical professional" at our house!

So, we are staying at the HoJo's right across the street from DLR. The "on-site" hotels were really expensive and I couldn't find a huge benefit to staying at them since we're only going to be there one night. And from what I've heard, the HoJo's is actaully closer to the parks than the DLR hotels anyway!

I know at the Grand Californian you can enter directly into Califonia ADventure, but I know we went to check out the hotels when we were there and it took FOREVER to walk to them

Every time I try to put together a response of any length (or multiquoting), I seem to get pulled away, so I'm just going to post while I can. So, I guess on the up side, I have been lurking and not totally lost, or well at least no more lost than usual...

T- Hope you're doing better! I had a Blackberry where I used to work with a full all-you-can-eat data plan. After a couple of months, I was feeling way too connected, particularly to the office. Good luck with the new phone, and, from past experience, remember to look up occasionally.

So much for my memory of posts the last few days, I'm sorry if I missed anyone. Here are some for those in need.

It's been a hectic several days for me at the office. And, today has started out pretty busy at home as well. DS6 woke us up at 6 this morning with a tummy ache; he then threw-up about 10 minutes later.

Jenny and I will need to tag team the errands and events today, so one of us is home at all times with the little one. I think we'll punt on grocery shopping until early next week, as I and DD11 hit the store for essentials yesterday - no weather concerns here, just out of milk. DD11 is in a talent show tonight, so I'm charging the video camera. I'm not sure if Jenny or I will attend with her and DD9.

In any case, I'm off to start to survey the lunch options and begin preparations.
