Okay ladies don't be too impressed with my spending abilities. I only spent $100 at the mall but $40 of it was on a belt and another $40 of it was on a Blu-Ray so not that impressive. I did see some stuff at the Gap I liked but no sense buying that in the States as I can get it for the same price up here and won't have to pay duty on it.

Lunch at TGIF, I lied my meal was actually $5.99. I had the Gourmet Mac and 5 cheeses. It was a chicken breast with penne pasta and the most amazing cheese sauce, so yummy!

Dude, I'm sorry. When I bought the tix for last year's trip, I had the same thing - didn't want to go get the card - but the price dropped $600 the next day, so that was better.

I sat in one and couldn't get up. Andy was at me. I had to roll over onto the floor and then 2 employees saw me and they started at me too.

I went to the store but the girl I know wasn't there. Apparently the managers are off today so I left my # and we will see what happens. I am most concerned with getting my $ from Friday.

Missed you today! Tink had a 4 year check up ( yes it's LATE... pass the MotY Award my way). Afterwards we went to Costco, Micheal's and JoAnn's for some girl time. Recap for those who need it:

Rachel is alive and well. However the lizard is not. We are waiting anxiously for some photos of the new place. Hi Rach!!

Mo is posting a mini-TR here from her recent WDW trip.

Jo got her broken laptop back and was finally able to play some golf - she won. Evidently she likes to wait until the last minute to pack for any trip. She is on her way to her parents for a few.

Angie's honey didn't get home from the race until late do to traffic.

Lori's van pooped out and she is waiting for it to be fixed.

V got a new washer. She is very busy at work.

Dawn had a girls weekend. She also got to have dinner with an old school chum. Her closet floors are clean now.

Janet has about 5 months before her WDW trip but she wants to pack now. I say go for it!

Kat's grandma just celebrated her 75th B-day. She looks fantastic! Kat may be looking for another job and their TV died.

Z just left for the Motherland which is good since she didn't have much of a Valentines.

Carrie/Ed has a stinky kid in the house and plans to visit her mom in Mass. (Ed you are not boring!)

T is giving up some living space to Waldo for his Wii antics. She had fun in a Wii pod at the store. I love it!

Lessa came across the border long enough to eat and shop. She says she didn't help stimulate our ecanomy very much. I'm sure she will do better next time.

CE is feeling cruddy and is not wanted at tennis. We want you CE!!!

Rosie has been busy cleaning.

JV is enabling the want-to-be alcoholics. I feel like curling up with a big bottle of SoCo myself!!

G-Luv found out that Jon has juvenile rheumatoid arthritis.

LL is crazy busy at work even though they told her her job is gone in March. She is trying to put the house on the market and needs to be 2 people right now to deal with everything. (I'm sorry about the rough times. Sending good thoughts.)

There are a lot of sick kids and adults.

Me, I'm dealing with a damaged roof from the wind storm the other day. Doug is installing the new antenna tomorrow. That means by the end of the week we will have local channels plus the dish for the first time in about 2 years. Can I get a YEEHAW!!??

So how'd I do?

So where's that leave me?? Well, they've said that they have nowhere for me, but haven't told me that they're letting me go yet. Then told me that my last day on this job is March 13th...I knew I hated Friday the 13th for a reason...

Plus I have to learn 2 other people's jobs - one's last day was this past Friday and the other one is this coming Friday and then the other guy who's last day was this past Friday left a bunch of stuff for me to do...

I need to be cloned, I swear...

Oh LL That is a lot on you right now. Why do you need to LEARN 2 other peoples job when you are leaving yourself in a month ??

I forgot to share some good news I got last night. We can all use some good news, right??

I not only got a raise in salary for my outstanding performance this past year, I also received a promotion which also increases my salary! The second part was completely unexpected so I am very thankful and appreciative.

So with this and the extra $13/wk from the government - I'm stoked!

That is super Kristel.... yes more $$$ is super and promotions are usually a GOOD THING.... Nowadays... they are a God Send.... because so many are losing jobs.


Well I did not sleep worth a snot last night. Both kids are going to school but I made a deal with Sarabeth to pick her up early AND Take her to school.

I didn't, either - weird dreams and kept waking up all night long. I'm glad the kids are doing well enough to go to school, though.

I think I'm going to try my tennis practice drills. I don't feel that much better - and now I'm tired, too - but it's with my favorite instructor this week. If it was the other guy, I'd call in. If I feel like I can't breathe, I'll stop.

We went to Epcot last night so I could practice some more. I'll post the photos later when I upload them. Had dinner at Chefs and really enjoyed it. Mitch had never been there and it had been a long time since I had. Our server was the most adorable girl, Emilie and the food was very nice. The only complaint was it was very loud and if I think it was loud, I know Mitch couldn't hear much. He can't hear much out of his left ear. Not sure what I'm doing today so I'll be in and out. Have a good day!

I am up early and couldn't sleep. I tried getting on the lap top and PUFFF! It has crashed! I am not impressed. What a day to start the day out on a bad note. All of my touring plans are on there and I have been working really hard to get them in order to pass them along to a few friends.

COuld had been a lot worse.


I am off to get myself ready for the day. DS has spanish before school, then Tink has preschool. I think I am going to park myself at Caribou (coffee shop like Starbucks) for my free cup o jo!

Morning Fockers! I'm stuck at home, waiting for the new washer to arrive. Sometime between 8am and 5pm. JUST how I envisioned using 8 of my vacation hours. I'm biding my time until it seems an okay hour to use the treadmill, (I have a downstairs neighbor who I'm guessing would prefer not to hear it running at 8am.)

Feb. seems to be sucking. Hugs all around

We had a weird work day yesterday... we were closed to the public, but still had to work. So we examined all of our personalilties to work better as a group and reduce stress. Of course, half the group is slated for layoffs, which is the reason for stress, so the whole thing seemed pretty ridiculous to me. Whatever.
