Boy, I'm up even earlier than Mel 8 inches of snow so all schools are closed. Jim is outside cleaning off the car so he can take me to work We have a doctor's appointment at 6:00pm so I am trying to get into work early so I don't have to take anytime to leave for that

Jimmy will be happy becasue a) there is snow and b) his friends Matt and Rose will be hanging out with him today

GOnna be a little crazy at work today. FUneral arrangements have been announced for my co-worker, so we will be meeting today to deploy cars, etc for that on Friday.

My brother sent me a text - 'Wife and I are splitting. It's mutual. We're staying together until it's final.'
WTH????????????????????? I was just at there place Sunday.
They have been together since highschool, 20+ years. Married for 15 years. I don't know what to make of it at all.
I'm calling her at 9PM to see what gives and how long this has been brewing. This totally blindsided me. Carp, Carp, Carp!

So sorry Kristel. I am very close to my SIL's so I don't know how I would feel if this happened!

Thanks everyone for the virtual hugs. Sorry I wasn't on at all yesterday and even today. Didn't feel much like talking. But thank you everyone. I would share pics but honestly I don't think I have any of my Scout Lynne. And even if I did they are all up in storage in MN...dumb ex.

Well, nothing happened to me at all since last night. I slept (until 5 again, dang it) Then I fell asleep again till the alarm at 6. Bob made it to Boston just fine and called me. We didn't chat though because I was so tired, I went to bed!

It's COLD here! My computer just alerted me that with the wind chill it's 10-20 degrees below zero! When will this end!?

It's Wednesday, so #1 has Lego. Did I tell you guys the team made it through the regional competition so we're moving on to state? They came in first for their research. Cool stuff.

So, I'm up, but I'm not happy about it. I'm tired. I couldn't fall alseep last night, so I didn't sleep as much as I would like.

We're stuck at home today because my car is at the shop. The gascap light came on along with the check engine light. They had my car for two days 2 weeks ago, and it came back on the 2nd time I drove it. So, I'm a bit annoyed that they have it again.

In other words, I'll be around all day... It's supposed to be 69 today, so I'm hoping to go on a walk later if I'm not half alseep.

Jim's meeting has been cancelled until next week. The snow is coming down, but not really laying yet so I am going to save the vacay time to use next week.

Good luck - we got nearly nothing. I'm trying to decide if I should snowblow. I can certainly get out, and I kind of hate to go through the bother for the inch that's out there, but then it's always better to have the driveway totally clean so that I don't create icy ruts for later.

I know nearly nothing. D took off to ski just as the boys were getting up and going. No problems with the bus or anything, even with the new inch on the ground, and as I said to Janet, I just have to decide if it's worth the hassle to get a "down to the pavement" driveway or not. I wanted to wait for it to warm up a bit, if I do - it's only 15 right now, and windy.

I didn't sleep well, waking up a lot, so I might have a smallish nap whilst I wait for it to get to 20.

I've got my chicken and noodles in the crock pot for after yoga, and otherwise I've just been messing on the computer.

Where did you buy it? A lot of electronics stores will repair even if items weren't bought there. When mine died last year, I took it to a local guy (sorry) who was quite good, and he at least could get the info off it.

Nope, 76 feels great! My heat is set to 67.

I wanted to have Baylie take classes somewhere now that she's taking higher level classes. My church has a Monday/Wednesday homeschool co-op that I was looking at for the fall. When your kid enrolls, you have to volunteer some of your time to teach or help out. If I teach a class, then C and A will go during that hour every M/W, and it was only a few more dollars for them to go full day. So, everyone's going to school from 8:30-3 M/W in the fall. They will be home with me on T/Th and if they want to do some of the extra-curricular calsses, those are on Fridays. Make sense?

Now I get it, and yes makes perfect sense!

Not much new here. Leo has a little cold and skipped his riding lesson last night - just wasn't up to it and it was windy and cold to boot.

Katt, the current temp here is 55 and that's expected to be our high today. Down to 31 tonight. I'm moderated a bit by the Gulf, though, so I think we can expect 20s inland!

My boss just got back from a 2 week trip to France - Paris for a few days and skiing the rest. I'm having some major wanderlust after hearing about her trip!

My mom found a Burlington Coat Factory over there somewhere. She was heading out yesterday to get a new coat!
