Now it'smy turn to vent, complain, whine call it what you want !!Buttttt since September I have been on call for 2 houses. My house is pretty stable , great staff etc etc but the other house has a nightmare staff ,they call off request the same days off and are just huge PAINS!! Wll today (my day off ) the phone didn't stop ringing with call offs and stupid questions I finally called the new Big Boss for the house and told her I was burnt out after today !! She was very sympathetic and says Sunday and Monday my days of SHE will be on call !! God help those staff that call her as she will ream them a new you know what!! I wanted to HUG her . I am sooo ready for 2 days with no problems !! Vent over I feel better !!

it's a store called Fruit FLowers. I think it's just answering phones, but its something and its part time and nearby!

Trying to pack...squeezing stuff into a backpack for 2 days ain't easy but I did it! I'm taking a messenger bag with me too for my toiletries and make up and stuff. KC carries the other. It's much easier since Friday after we check out we have to lug our stuff all around so a backpack does the trick. Besides I need my hands free to shop at those outlet stores!!!!

Whew! I thought I was crazy and just thought I posted about it!

Yes, it's a done deal. I've sold about $500 worth of my books that I won't need already. I'm excited and think everyone will enjoy it. I will get time to myself when I'm not teaching on M/W too. I can't imagine going to the grocery or doctor's appointment alone!

Some of my friends have been sceptical, but I don't care. I'll still be teaching them two days a week, but I won't have to lesson plan or grade. I'll just help them with the assignments the teachers give them. What a load of stress off of me! The price is about even with what I normally would spend on books each year anyway.

It is the best of both worlds, I think. Now I have the stupid Hannah Montana song in my head.

They have been together since highschool, 20+ years. Married for 15 years. I don't know what to make of it at all.
I'm calling her at 9PM to see what gives and how long this has been brewing. This totally blindsided me. Carp, Carp, Carp!

I hope the weather didn't get bad for anybody else. We didn't get that much snow, however, the wind was terrible. There is more than corn in Indiana - Big snow drifts when there is no corn. They are predicting 4 degrees tomorrow night then 40 degrees and rain all weekend. Crazy, crazy!

I hope you can keep in touch with your SIL if you are close. When my brother and his wife divorced I was really sad. Still am and they have been divorced about 3 years. They didn't have any kids. She remarried and moved out of state.​

I've been there done that. My now ex blindsided me almost 12 years ago when our DD was 13 months old. It was about 5-6 weeks after our 8th anniversary.

I talked to my SIL. Yes we are close. I have always liked her. My suspicions were correct.

A little background:
We were all very close before I married Doug.
My brother is a very self centered person and always has been. He is a game geek, always has been. His priorities have always been for his benefit. He loves to party and hang with his friends - a lot. I don't mean to make him a monster. We all know people like this.
He is fun and very smart.
He and I had a falling out about 5 years ago over priorities. To make it short, we reconciled a year ago when my father passed away.

Well it seems that my SIL has had a little trouble with his choice of priorities also. She's tired of being #2 all the time. It's been stewing for about 2 years and she is done. I did not know any of this. He said he would change. He hasn't. It breaks my heart because even though it is her idea, she is hurting. I always thought she was immune to the way he acted.

I feel so helpless. I told her I would still think of her as my SIL and I wanted to remain friends.

I am trying to get my brother to meet me for lunch on Friday. I thought he might want to talk. He'll always be my brother. Even if I do think he is an idiot.

Have I told you guys that I hate drama!!! Dang this has got me upset!

Thanks everyone for the virtual hugs. Sorry I wasn't on at all yesterday and even today. Didn't feel much like talking. But thank you everyone. I would share pics but honestly I don't think I have any of my Scout Lynne. And even if I did they are all up in storage in MN...dumb ex.

My kids are already asking if we can get another dog. Uh no...not right now. We still have two left but I think our oldest one is on her last leg as well. She's gone deaf and is having a hard time getting around. I don't think she'll even make it until the end of the year. I'm sure if that were to happen I can for see a new puppy for us around Christmas time.

T - OMG...that thing is too funny!!!! I saw that in an ad around Christmas time for Bed Bath & Beyond and soooooooooo wanted to get it for my ex. I don't think he would have appreciated it and found it funny at all but I would have. Hmmmmmm...his birthday is Saturday. Maybe I should post a little note on it saying something like, 'So now your girlfriend doesn't have to shave you.'
