Well you two are no help are you :rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2:

I know - sorry. ;) Seriously, I wouldn't want to go, but like you, I'd feel bad for not. Still, I think practically speaking, you should be OK to not travel before you travel. :hug:

Oh and CE over here if someone is up the duff they're preggers :rotfl2:

I said "ON"! :scared1: I've never heard that one, though. ;)

I really don't want to go, I hardly knew her but I don't want to do the wrong thing IYKWIM Plus I hate funerals :rotfl2:

I know you did :rotfl:

Just filled in my ESTA which is the new online visa we need to do so you'll let us in your country :rotfl2: I did it for our last trip and stupidly can't find our reference numbers so have just spent about 45 minutes filling all the forms in again :sad2: I have written the codes down again and need to put them somewhere safe so I don't have to do it all again next trip!!!!!

HI everyone! Hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving! Sounds like a few folks did great on BF (Janet and T!) We did go out to Walmart and I got a ton of things knocked off my daughter's list, so felt good about that. We got there about 11am - and it was not very crowded at all. We then went food shopping for our weekend feasts and there was no one in the food store! We've been having a lovely weekend, a little windy, but no rain today at least. Tomorrow, when we go home, it's supposed to be lovely (figures!).

Have a great weekend everyone!:goodvibes

Hey all!

I can tell you where all the shoppers were today...the World of Disney NYC. People were packed in like sardines!!!!

I worked on the floor today, or "on stage" as our lingo goes. ;) It was the most fun I have had in a while. I got to talk to people and play around with little kids. I was bagging for the register people but it was actually fun. it was the first time I really felt like I worked for Disney. AND I didn't have to bend or lift anything. :woohoo: I prob won't get put on stage again for the next few weeks, but here's hoping!

I figured out, with my regularly scheduled days off and the few days I requested off this month I think I have about 14 days left at WoD NYC! Weird.

Anyone who follows MyMuse's TR's (or MyMuse18 on Twitter)...she came to visit me today! it was really cool to see her again! It made my day! She also got a pic of me "in costume"... I know you wanna see...don't laugh too hard at my bad outfit...

We are supposed to be doing laundry tonight, we shall see how that actually goes 'cause I'm tireddddddd.

Hope you all are having a great weekend!

Do you still do her a stocking as she's older?

I hope you get to do it again, sounds like you loved it :goodvibes So are they opening a new NYC store? Seems weird if they don't :confused3

Morning All!!
Hi Rosie :wave2:

Uggghhh someone set up a FB memorial page for my kind of niece Adele, so far almost 600 people are fans :faint: Anyway my Mum said I could post the funeral details on there and so far I've had 2 IM's from long lost Aunties (there has been a lot of divorce on both sides with the grandparents) and I now feel a bit stuck in the middle. The one today is from Adele's Mum's sister and they haven't spoken for over 4 years :eek: So my Mum is going to email me exactly what the family want released, there are just so many unanswered questions IYKWIM!

Jess has been after some Ugg boots, I think I said before, anyway we found some Emu ones which look identical but are about a third the price, luckily she liked them :thumbsup2 I ordered them on Amazon so fingers crossed they fit :rotfl2:

Thanks! As predicted, it's beautiful today! :goodvibes

Do you still do her a stocking as she's older?

Yes. In fact, we do them for all of us (even puppy Lilly). Ariel's usually overflows the stocking though!:rotfl: Since she's living "on her own" in the city now for college, she asks for things like all her toiletries, cleaning supplies, etc. Funny, I never thought she'd get excited over laundry detergent!:rotfl2: She only asked for a few other things this year - a couple of DVDs, a camera, and a pair of jeans. So, I think Santa will be able to get everything on her list this year :santa:

Oh my, good luck with that! Tough spot to be in :hug:

Good morning everyone. We'll be packing up soon to go home (the hard part). I'm ready though. It's nice to go away, but nice to come home :goodvibes

I still get one... :rolleyes1 :rotfl:

Oh, dear. :hug:

In other strange suicide news, my friend's brother in Ireland - looks like it was just a college prank gone wrong. :scared1: It was a week where they do outrageous pranks, I guess, and though they'll never be 100% sure, he called his friend to come over and was only maybe an inch off the floor. The police say that no one who'd mean to do it would do it that way. The poor friend threw a water bottle at him and said "Nice one, dude" or something, before realizing there was actually a problem. :sad2: There was no note, and he had just bought tickets for a concert that night, too.

Not that it's still not awful, but it would frankly make me feel better to think of it as a horrible accident than someone being so sad, if you KWIM. :sad2:

I'm sorry you have to go, but at least for packing back up, all you have to do is remember to bring back what you brought! No deciding, which is the tough part for me! :rotfl:

*********************************************************
I stayed up way too late to finish a book, and therefore didn't get up very early. I think the kids slept in a bit, at least - I put them to bed a lot earlier last night, with D gone. I started a movie and fed them before 6:00, so the movie was done early and they were in bed more like a school night. Woody's been a bear the last couple of days, and I am fully aware that it's because he's exhausted (not that it makes it easier to deal with, but I'm trying not to be mad about it.) So, I'm hoping that last night and tonight's schedule of "regular" will help with going back to the routine tomorrow. :thumbsup2

D's thinking he'll be back around dinner time. The boys want to go to the park, and we may talk my neighbor into joining us. We won't be there terribly long - it's sunny, but chilly and we all have stuff to do. Depending on whether the neighbor comes and what time would work for her, we'll go get some more lights and my interior short extension cords before or after.

I finally got all the toys back into the toy bins that I used for teacher books at the Book Fair (minus an enormous box :rolleyes1 - I tried to get the kids to cull it out, but they lost interest, so it's Mom's Choice at this point :rotfl:) and it's amazing how much better the toy corner looks again. :thumbsup2

I'm going to get something to eat and do the crossword! I'm sure I'll be back!

Congrats to all those that got everything they needed on BF, are the savings really that big????

::yes:: My GPS was $50 regular price $123 a little more than half price for some things and other things are even cheaper. I got some DVDs for $3.99and they even had Blu Ray movies for $6-9.99. ;)

What are your dates again? I might get to see you....;)

Going to DISNEY!!!!!! :dance3::woohoo::banana::cheer2::yay:
I've been searching prices for a few weeks for a weekend getaway and I found a resort I've been dying to stay at and at a decent price.

So we'll be there 12/12-12/13 (weekend getaway) at Wilderness Lodge Club Level! :cool2: :banana:

I can't wait!!!!!

Fantastic and yes to your edit :rolleyes1 We're at MK on the 13th if you're near by :thumbsup2

He everyone!

CE scored some good buys on-line.

JO played rubbish golf. We’ll blame it on the weather.

LORI saw a little snow.
We got none.

JANET did pretty good with her BF buys. She was pooped.

T had and used a great gameplan for BF. It worked very good.

KAT can surf the web in the dark. She was bagging merchandise at checkout on Sat. at WoD. Pic at post # 1905.
You look good!

Z had a good time on BF. Her shopping went well. She is going for a weekend of fun at WDW on the 12th and 13th.
Dang it, Z. I leave super early on the 12th.

ROSIE said she is back from the land of the dead and missed us - I think.

(((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((

I'm glad everyone survived BF. You all did so well too!!! I spent it cleaning the basement and my bathrooms upstairs. I'll finish the rest this week.

I spent Sat at a friend's house helping her get some food ready for a party on Monday. She does some catering on the side. It was fun. Plus Doug and I got to sample some of it. She had pork roast that was soooooo good! Doug went with me so he could hook up a TV she bought. We didn't get home until 6PM. At least I didn't have to cook anything.

3 more nights of work starting tonight. On Friday I will head to Ohio, help Rockie pack and we will come back to Indiana on Saturday. We are so freakin' excited! I'll be impossible to work this set.

I'll try to keep up here.
:hippie:

From your Mom or D? What do you get in it?

My mom. Usually maybe some earrings and lip balm and little purse size nail files or whatnot. Just little stuff - nothing big. :goodvibes Do you think I'm a spoiled only child now? :rotfl2:

So sad but I agree, I'd rather lose someone to an accident than a suicide :hug:

I know, right? Poor thing.

********************************************************
Well, my neighbor called right back and said, "Let's go right now, so we can do stuff in the afternoon." So we went to the park for an hour, drove through fast food for lunch, and got a car wash. Then the boys went back out to play with the neighbor some more.

I got my extension cords (really, really cheap, too!) and so my lights are up, which makes me smile. :goodvibes

Now I need to think about really separating the "throw away" and "give to my cousin" the toys I eliminated yesterday. :thumbsup2

Fantastic and yes to your edit :rolleyes1

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Well I was planning on putting up the Christmas tree and maybe decorating the house today. But there were call outs at work and I decided to go in and work a few hours. I figure the OT is to pay for the Disney trip I just booked. Fuzzy math justification. :rolleyes:
Still have to research and plan our short trip.
:wave2: Hi everyone. I hope everyone is enjoyi ng their weekend. All the decorating is done:woohoo: Inside and outside :yay: I love Christmas:love:
Believe it or not, I have to go back to the stores :faint: I have to return one thing I got for Jimmy, that for some reason I got 2 of:confused3 and I want to return a sweater I got Jim. I decided I don't like it as much as I did in the store, so I am going to get something else;) I probably won't do that until next weekend though.
Next Saturday we are head to Christmas in Hershey, weather permitting. It should be lots of fun becasue 2 other families (Jimmy's friends Gordon and PJ) are also going.
Tomorrow is back to work. I may actually work a full week this week:lmao:
-------------------------------------------------
Jo - :eek:about the facebook page.
Z - :yay: so excited for you for your trip!:woohoo:
CE - Gald you were able to get the boys back into school sleepong mode. I wanted to do that last night too, but we wound up taking longer to decorate than I thought we would:sad2: I hope we don't have a hard time tonight.
HI to everyone I missed. Chat with you all later!:goodvibes
