OK, now you have me questioning whether I did a good enough job:scared1:
You've both got me terrified... I've literally never cleaned my toaster oven! :scared1:

Evening all !! Sad news ...my April/May tripis off !! I will still be going in 2010 but am back to a solo trip!! Christine had something unexpected come up and has had to cancel !!! Now I am back to the drawing board and still deciding when to go!!
I'm sorry Rosie. But... you always have fun on your solo trips, right?

So, we ended up just using a Sharpie and crossing out that one date, but then it looks idiotic - like I don't know what I'm doing.
This will either make you feel better or horrify you...
Over the past few weeks, Leo's come home with homework sheets that were completely illegible twice and already filled in with answers once. Wait, ti gets better - the exact same homework is given out to every 2nd grade class in the county, so EVERY 2nd grader got these useless homework sheets! And no one along the way noticed a problem?! At least you guys took corrective action - that gets an "A" in my book! :thumbsup2

Just so you all know, I still have a crazy stalker. She is reading this... I know it!
Ugh, I'm sorry. YO STALKER - LEAVE OUR FRIEND ALONE!
on inspection of my user information, each time I log in, I see she has looked at my profile info/threads subbed - DAILY!
We can see that data?! I had no idea!

V had a headache. She is looking forward to Halloween at WDW!
I hope you have a blast!
Thanks!
Winter09001-1.jpg
LOL, you'll be taken for a Floridian if you wear that in winter at WDW! ;)

I'm so tired. I've been running myself ragged. When I drop the kids off at school today, I'm going back to bed. My goal is to get rested up, do laundry and shower before the kids come home.
:thumbsup2
I did get the 3 ADRs we needed. I couldn't get through anywhere, so I finally called Member Services and got them that way.
Yay! :woohoo:

 ONE FUZZY DAY LEFT!!!

Colored my hair last night; decided to go red. I'd say it's more "auburn" than red, but with it being college football season, that's a word not to be uttered. ;) The forecast changed again - I now need to pack swimsuits. Oh, and I can't decide whether or not to drag the Good Camera around. Or, if I do, whether to attach the Good But HEAVY Lens to it. :confused3

It's grey, rainy and insanely humid here, which is not helping the headache. WDW, take me away! :cloud9:

You've both got me terrified... I've literally never cleaned my toaster oven! :scared1:

I don't clean it that often, but when I heated up pizza the other day the cheese all dripped down and burned on the bottom!

:scared1: Jimmy's teacher here sent a note home one day apoligizing for an error on a homework sheet and gave us the instructions on how to correct it!:thumbsup2

Get em V. :thumbsup2

THis is the one thing I felt REALLY REALLY bad about on our trip. Jim bought all his good lenses and his mini tripod that he wanted to play with while we were there. Once I got sick they stayed in the room:sad2:

Living room done. Hardwood floors cleaned.:thumbsup2 Powder room next. I'm on a roll baby! I think that will be it though. After that I will jump in the shower. Then I will let TInk out to play for a while (I have to leave her in her room while I clean, otherwise she barks at the vacuum:sad2:. After that I have to run to the Post Office, the library and then pick Jimmy up!

 Hi Fockers!

Sorry it's been a few days since I've been on. We had a busy weekend and then I've been studying for tests I have in all 3 classes this week. I can't wait until this weekend when I get to RELAX!

I only have 1 class today, but we'll be taking a test and then doing notes. Hope everyone is doing well and I gotta run!

TTYL!

TE - I forgot to tell you. Jimmy told us last night he wants to go to school to be a farmer when he grows up. :rotfl2:
:thumbsup2 WTG Jimmy! He can go to Virginia Tech too--they have a great Ag program! :thumbsup2 Daran always wanted to be a dairy farmer when he grew up,...worked a lot on his neighbors farm....but then realized you can't really do that anymore and make any $$ particularly if you don't have family land.

I'm exhausted! the kids activities and school wear me out! I either rest while their gone or do all the cleaning, shopping, or errand running...

Google, baby...
Project for Ellie

Well, he's got big dreams! :rotfl:

It's always so busy here. Mel and I were talking last night about it.

I've already talked to B about dating and trampoling, so I'm not worried about that. She'll brush off anything she thinks is different than what I told her. I am just curious if it's anatomy, "the talk", boys and girls are together or if they are split... that kind of thing. It's not somthing I look forward to sitting in a room with a bunch of other adults talking about. :sad2:

Oh- And Jo, yes, B has a crush. I just found out last week. She hasn't really talked to him or anything and it seems very sweet. She's way shy. :lovestruc I hope she'll come to me if she thinks more of him than looking at him from across the desks.

Dawn--the family life class in VA--you can preview the info/materials before hand and then opt out if you don't like it---BA said the kids that do that look kinda weird tho so should would never do that.....they keep the kids together for all but a little bit in the 6th grade.....the topics increase in detail with the age...by 10th grade, it's very specific about STDs, pregnanices, but it's certainly needed---several folks already pregnant or delivered in the class. The class has never bothered them---has resulted in a lot of middle school giggles at times tho.

Back from class. I think I did well on the test. I'll find out on Monday. One more test to go this week...it's either tomorrow or Friday. I guess I should find out, huh?

One of my really close friends in high school had her first baby a few weeks ago. She'll be at her mom's house tomorrow for trick-or-treating so we'll be going to visit with them. :yay: I have to pick Lindsey up in a few minutes and we're going shopping for a baby gift. I have no idea what to get though. She was a larger baby (over 9 pounds) so I'm thinking of getting a few sleepers in a larger size. I know with both of mine (Lindsey was almost 10 pounds and DR was over 10) they outgrew 0-3 months in no time and were in 3-6 months well before time.

Well, I'm gonna run again! Talk to y'all later!

Evening all !! Sad news ...my April/May tripis off !! I will still be going in 2010 but am back to a solo trip!! Christine had something unexpected come up and has had to cancel !!! Now I am back to the drawing board and still deciding when to go!!

Bummer, but I’m sure you’ll have fun on your own!;)

So, I had over 400 copies of an info sheet talking about that first night as opening night. Stapled to 3 other sheets a piece, and specific to each classroom. :headache::headache::headache:

I don't have enough flyers from Scholastic to redo them all - I'd have to unstaple every packet, then redo every packet - something that took three hours to do the first time.

So, we ended up just using a Sharpie and crossing out that one date, but then it looks idiotic - like I don't know what I'm doing.

How incredibly annoying! And, after all that work!:headache:

Sorry everyone- Just a quick poke in to say hi! We had a nutso weekend with a big wedding, which was over the top, no detail left out. Tomorrow I have an interview! I'll let you know more after. Just so you all know, I still have a crazy stalker. She is reading this... I know it! :sad2: I have been trying to keep as much personal stuff of of here as possible. She really is a strange girl... (yes! YOU know who you are!) I was hoping I'd loose her, but on inspection of my user information, each time I log in, I see she has looked at my profile info/threads subbed - DAILY! :scared1: Maybe I should take it as a compliment?

That’s definitely a bit creepy/scary. :scared1:I didn’t even know you could see that info! I hope she just fades away!

I did get the 3 ADRs we needed. I couldn't get through anywhere, so I finally called Member Services and got them that way. We're doing Ohana for dinner as a family (our fav), CM for breakfast with Mel's family, and Narcoossee's for date night with Mel & Bob. :thumbsup2 The rest of the time we'll do CS meals or eat in our room since we both have a 1 bedroom at BLT.

Awesome! :cool1:We love Ohana too! I’d love to try Narcoossee’s something, I hear great things and we’ve never been!

OK, I'm off in about 10. I decided against a shower. :rolleyes1 My hair is slightly goofy, but not too bad! :rotfl:

I'm nervous!

Oh, the heck with them if they can’t take a joke!:rotfl:

Living room done. Hardwood floors cleaned.:thumbsup2 Powder room next. I'm on a roll baby! I think that will be it though. After that I will jump in the shower. Then I will let TInk out to play for a while (I have to leave her in her room while I clean, otherwise she barks at the vacuum:sad2:.

Lilly hates the vaccumm too. But, she not only barks, but she’ll tinkle too sometimes. Bad dog! :(

Another lazy day here, I keep asking the girls what they want to do but they don't want to do anything :rotfl2: They are both doing homework though, oh Ellie needs to make some type of working weather instrument, any ideas?

Oh geeze, good luck with that!:rotfl2:

You've both got me terrified... I've literally never cleaned my toaster oven! :scared1:

Ummm, I'd get on that...(seriously, the toaster oven scares me!)

:thumbsup2 WTG Jimmy! Well, that leave us out then:lmao:

Wanna come to my house?

 Hi Fockers!

Hi, Lori! Bye, Lori!

********************************************************
Back from the match. My partner and I lost, but it was pretty close, and she was deathly nervous for her first ever match. I've been there. We did pretty well, though, really. The other doubles team won, though our singles player also lost, so overall the other team 'won' as they got 2 of 3.

Oh, well. It was fun. :thumbsup2 And I'm used to losing. :rotfl:

So, the good news was that when I was ready to walk out of the house this morning, my neighbor, who works in the upper elementary school, called. She had heard that I'd said they didn't need more subs, but I guess they are desperate in her school, which is 5th-6th, and the schedule is only 5 minutes off my kids' school.

So, she talked to her principal and they called the superintendent's office. I guess they ARE into the new sub lists now, but starting with people who have a teaching certificate, then going to those like me with a non-teaching degree. But, they asked about me, which is good - my sub career might take off, after all! :thumbsup2

On the other hand, I'm still not sure I'm not getting something - the cough is back post-tennis and I'm freezing (though it IS 46 and raining, so that might be normal.) I'm trying to decide if I should exercise when I take the boys to their yoga, or if I should go sit in the steam room. ;)

I did play tennis today, so I wouldn't feel TOO guilty if I don't work out. :confused3

I think I'm going to try to power nap for a few before the boys get home. D's said he'll make chili tonight, so that should be good by the time we get back from the gym. :cool1: The kids will do homework before we go, since yoga's so late (and it's pouring) so... I'm off! BBL!

Wanna come to my house?

Sure;)

PIcked Jimmy up. Homework done, now we are just hanging out until Jim gets home. HAve to get Jimmy into his costume soon.

Have a good night everyone!:goodvibes

OMG what age are they????

I know with both of mine (Lindsey was almost 10 pounds and DR was over 10) they outgrew 0-3 months in no time and were in 3-6 months well before time.
I always buy 3-6 months as I always know they'll be bought loads of the small stuff :thumbsup2

Sorry you lost but sounds like it was a good match :thumbsup2 Don't push yourself, don't want you getting ill

I think I can feel my bum getting bigger by the minute I've sat on this sofa far too long today :rotfl2:

Surprise!!!!! Hi Janet! I'm awake and I don't have to work but I decided to pop in here as I may not have time later.

He is. Thanks Kristel
Your welcome!

Tell me about it. I have been out since August 7th. Go back Monday.
That was me. :thumbsup2 I think you must have erased a quote for CE. That's OK she's used to losing.;)

----------------------------------------------------------

Good morning all! Another carppy rainy day here:sad2: I am doing more cleaning today. Living room and powder room that I didn't get to yesterday. Then I have to take some books back to the library. I am picking JImmy up from school today. Tonight is his school's Halloween McDonald's Night Fundraiser. The school gets a percentage of the profits of anything sold between 4pm and 7pm. The kids wear their costumes, the teachers have treats for them AND I don't have to cook dinner:rolleyes1. It gets crowded, but the kids have a good time!

Hope everyone has a great day.
Same here. No rain, just yicky. I cleaned too. I hope McDs was fun.

It's rainy and 46 this morning - lovely, but hey, it's October.

I'm trying to decide - wait for it - if I'm going to shower this morning before the match.

Seriously, I showered last night after dinner and before (and I realized I forgot to tell you this part of my crazy day) going to the PATT meeting. I never go - they are always on Tuesdays, and one month it's at 3:30 and the next it's at 7:00. The boys have tennis on Tuesdays at 4:00, so I can never make the early one, and then D is so often gone on Tuesdays that I never did a night one. But after I got home from the Sharpie-fest, I got a call from one of the volunteer coordinators, who wanted me to come in and just give an update on how Book Fair was coming - totally unrelated to the snafu with the dates. So, since D was home, I went. It was actually kind of fun. Who knew?

Anyway, I showered at 6:30 last night, so I'm not nasty-smelling or anything. but, with the shorter haircut, you can definitely tell I've slept on my hair, and as much as I hate to admit it, people tend to do hair and make-up for matches and I don't want to look like a slob.

But then, I figure I'm going to go get sweaty, so why shower first?

Such a dilemma. :rotfl2:

Anyway, either way, I need to go see about washing my face and what I can do to get my hair out of my eyes without looking like a doofus - I have been wearing a headband to class and practice, but yep - I look silly! :lmao:

Wish me luck, and I'll be back later! Have a great morning, all! :
:lmao: As long as you don't smell foul, I think you are OK!

Southwest just announced special fares if anyone's travelling through Feb.

I'm so tired. I've been running myself ragged. When I drop the kids off at school today, I'm going back to bed. My goal is to get rested up, do laundry and shower before the kids come home.
B has her first chiropractor appt today. I'm glad she's going because she has had problems with her hip popping since the accident. K's coming home a little early so I can take over mom duty and get C and A fed and to soccer.

Then B has church at 6:30 and I have a parent meeting about what they'll be teaching in the human sexuality unit in a few weeks. I am not looking forward to that at all.

I did get the 3 ADRs we needed. I couldn't get through anywhere, so I finally called Member Services and got them that way. We're doing Ohana for dinner as a family (our fav), CM for breakfast with Mel's family, and Narcoossee's for date night with Mel & Bob. Time to drop kids at school. See you all laters...
I'm happy you got your ADR's. Your plans sound great! I hope B will be alright.

Another busy day !! What else is new ! I have been picking up a lot of exta hours to help out the site manager at one of the houses with my second job as sheis really short staffed !! She pretty much will take anytme can squeeze in!! Trouble is I have very little free time !!:scared1:
The weather is lousy today RAIN!!!!!

I was glad to read that I am in the era to pre 1950 and have the immunity:cool1: I know during my first 25 years I sure got a lot of bad flus so hopefully one of them has immuned me
I will chat later when I get home !!
So there are some perks to being an old fart??!!!! J/K:hug:

Love the photo :rotfl2: and fantastic about December
Yep, I am a goof!

Another lazy day here, I keep asking the girls what they want to do but they don't want to do anything They are both doing homework though, oh Ellie needs to make some type of working weather instrument, any ideas?
I wasn't good in the science department. Looks like Dawn gave you an idea.

TE - I forgot to tell you. Jimmy told us last night he wants to go to school to be a farmer when he grows up. :rotfl2:
What kind of farmer? It's those big tractors, isn't it??!!
smiley_farmer.gif
Hey, why is that funny? I know lots of farmers. I congratulate Jimmy on thinking about his future at his age.:snooty::rotfl2:

You've both got me terrified... I've literally never cleaned my toaster oven!

Congrats on the subbing. Sorry you lost the tennis match. At least here, we all think of you as a winner! Maybe your cough is just from the changes in the weather or allergies. I hope it doesn't turn into anything else.

&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&
I cleaned inside and out today. The patio had all kinds of wet leaves on it. Lots of earth worms were under leaves too. EWWWW! After I was done with my 'chores'. I went for a walk with Max. He is asleep next to my chair right now. I guess I wore him out.

Doug's right hand is developing nerve damage from the radiation. He has no strength in his thumb and index finger. He called the nurse today. She will let the doctor know. He was not scheduled for an MRI until Nov.17th. I bet they will want to see him before then. I'm hoping it is temporary. I know he is upset about it so I am trying to stay positive. I told him to keep using it to do things.

Now I must tear myself from your divine company to cook up some brats.

Auf Wiedersehen!

hi guys!

Its been a crazy week. Last friday for my birthday marc had just gotten home from his last shift so we went out to dinner. Nothing much else. Oh...Marc gave me my birthday present. He had planned and helped design a new engagement ring for me since march. It was such a surprise, and he did a great job. I spent the rest of the weekend sewing marcs pirate costume which ive yet to finish, and studying.

Very true!

Sorry you lost but sounds like it was a good match :thumbsup2 Don't push yourself, don't want you getting ill
