Team Focker Watch: Lucky Number 13!

No it's because I don't like nuts :rotfl2:

Be sure to rest Rosie

Well I lost :sad2::sad1: It was a very very tight match, literally nothing in it and she beat me on the last hole and that was only because I lost a ball on the 16th, we still can't believe we didn't find it, very odd :sad2: Oh well :sad1:

Sorry you lost Jo !!!

Who says Jo's not British:confused: Not liking NUTS is not a British thing though!!!:rotfl2: I tend to think the sweet and savory is !!!:confused3

Jo I got out early today and just have a meeting tomorrow and am OFF!!!:cloud9:

Then, the teammate who'd had us over for lunch yesterday came in for her lesson after ours, but her daughter had locked herself out of their house, so she thought she had to go home. I volunteered (now that I know where she lives :rotfl:) to just take keys over so she could stay, so I did that, then went to the bank to get more checks. They switched providers, so I couldn't order refills online like I usually do. :headache:
That was nice of you :goodvibes

Well, dang. I just posted my good luck message!
I saw, thanks

No they aren't thankfully. He wanted to marry her because I raised him to take responsibility for his actions. They broke up by the time my grandson was 3 months old. He has always remained active in his son's life and it was hard at times. His ex was at his wedding last year because they have finally grown up as people. I didn't celebrate. I cried for 3 months. My grandson is my best buddy and I wouldn't change things now but it was tough.
It sounds as though they've done the best thing!

Hello from sick land!
Oh no, hope you get better soon

Sorry you lost Jo !!!

Who says Jo's not British:confused: Not liking NUTS is not a British thing though!!!:rotfl2: I tend to think the sweet and savory is !!!:confused3

Thanks Rosie and thanks for sticking up for me this lot are just nasty :rotfl2: I hope you have a very relaxing time

I'm back!

UPDATE:

Mo’s little furbaby, Rocky, was having some issues.
What did you find out?

ANGELA’s parental units have been in pain and pains for her. And it’s cold down there.
I am sorry for you on both counts.

TAZ cheats at mini-golf. She says she will need a vacation after her vacation with mom and aunt in April.
Shame on you! I always feel like I need another vacation after vacation no matter who I go with.

MZ DZ had an OK trip. A co-worker of her DH’s sent an awesome surprise for them at WDW.
Too bad about the Cay. The surprise in your room was a very nice thing to do.

CEL BEL went shopping for a wedding dress, pics at post #92. She had meetings set up with DL and all the other wedding plan things only to find our her Dgroom can’t go with her due to work issues.
That dress is very pretty. Simple and elegant-you did good. I don’t know what to tell you about your planning issues. Maybe you could get some pictures or info to take back to Marc on things that you both wanted to decide. Then call them with the final decision.

ROSIE has heat. Her #1 consumer was dancing in her birthday suit in the living room.
I am glad to hear you did not get as cold as your namesake, duchess. Was your sweetie raised in the 60’s/70s? That dancing would be very natural for that bunch.

JO = taxi for the kids. She shelled out some money for a new bed for Boo who promptly snubbed it at first. There are pictures of her nanny and girls at post #58. She lost the final match of golf. Boo is recovering nicely from her operation.
Word of advice, don’t go buying expensive toys for the cat. They’ll just tear them up. Empty boxes and bags work great for the curious beasts. I think your nanny looks great! She looks like a wonderful person. You girls look terrific too! I can't believe Rosie's favorite Brit lost at golf. :sad2:

T says the girls are doing outstanding with the cookie sales - even in the rain. Evan had a cold.
I hope Evan is better.

MEL is in NASCAR heaven. She is starting to get things together for the WDW trip. She got some great clothes deals at the Salvation Army. Then she celebrated with wine.

My co-worker was at the race. He and his wife went with another couple. They’ve never been to Vegas. I can’t wait to hear what he thought. Great deals =lots of booze! I like it!

KAT has been busy. She is on the hunt for a job. She went to a 1year old’s party at a club that does kids parties. KC is a clown-a-phobe. She thinks she had food poisoning! They had to push back the bug guy a week.
Geez, can you catch a break now please!!?? I hope you are feeling better. Good luck on the job thing for you and KC. My fingers are crossed.

JANET said she had a hacker on her e-mail. So if you get spam with a worm it’s her fault. She needs someone to explain what the word ’star’ means when it comes to ‘Dancing’ with them. The doctor says her eyes are doing OK
J/K on the e-mail. That’s not cool at all. I’ve pondered this same question with a lot of reality-type shows. I think celebrity rejects is more appropriate. YAY! On your eyes. I will keep you in my prayers on that one.

CE is back from her trip. No damage to her home during the storm. Some downed lines.
It sounds like you had a good time. Let’s hope that the weather will now be a bit better from here on out.

DAWN’s ready for WDW in just a few days! It will be stress-free this time!

I know you will have a great time!

V is happy.

HI V, LESSA, FLO, HEDY!

Doug's MRI was good. The swelling has been reduced. He will need to start some therapy for his right arm/hand in the next week. He is going into town tomorrow to run some errands. He will swing by the hospital to schedule that and get a hold of the insurance to clear it. He will still need to get the infusions every 2 weeks for at least a couple of months. The doctor sees no reason to start any chemotherapy at this time.

I booked a wine tour with a local travel agency the other day. It will be to celebrate my birthday in May. It is around southern Indiana. We will stay one night at a casino resort. Doug, I and a good friend are going. That should be a good break for us all.

That's all I got for now. I go back to work tomorrow night. This work thing is getting old.:rotfl2:

Have a good evening and day!!

Ooh, fun! :goodvibes

I'm quite possibly more British than Jo. Just sayin'. ;)

:rotfl: LY Jo!

Heck, I'm more British than Jo;)

(I watched Monty Python and the Holy Grail the other night:p)

So guess who had to start another round of nerve flushes in what used to be known as my good foot:headache:

It was either that or consent to surgery and well, um, not willing to do that yet.

BTW, 11 weeks from today I will be on a plane heading to Italy:yay:
(I'm a little excited)

Oh, Mo. I'm sorry about your foot , but I am glad it's not long to the Italy trip. :goodvibes

HI there Miss Moderator, I just read that TR that you linked, very funny, will have to follow it.

She was making me laugh, which is fun!

*********************************************************
My afternoon/evening got a little nutty - the boys did homework, had snacks, and got changed for karate. They went to karate, where my friend (the mom of Buzz's best friend) and I sat and chatted. :goodvibes Then we went to the library for the next round of book reports (draw a stamp and fill out a form this time; as long as we're not making hats, I'm good.) Then, on to the basketball pizza party. 8 second graders buzzed on soda was interesting, but they had fun. Got home, read some Harry, and then I've just been surfing around and trying to avoid actually WATCHING the TV - I've got 2 shows DVRing, which means I have to have one of them on (if I want the noise, which I do) and yet they're both things that D watches, so that's too bad.

I'm reading a decent advanced copy book, but it's a little spotty - nonetheless, I should be reading that. I'm both interested and piling up quite a stack of unread stuff after my birthday, so I need to keep moving. ;)

Have a good night!

I'm quite possibly more British than Jo. Just sayin'. ;)
::yes::

You are The Bestest BRITISH!!!!!:rotfl2:
Well, yeah. She's the BESTEST sorta British person we know... :lmao:

I AM in Nascar heaven! Kevin hasn't won a race but he's been DANG close the last couple. SUCH an improvement over last year!!!

Thank Goodness! No one deserves it more, MO.

****************************
I hate mornings.
But, it is Friday, so that's good. SD is off to take two more big exams (AP Economics and Algebra 2) today. Gus has a regular day, but they both get out early. Frankly, I hardly see the point in sending them to let them out again at 10:35 am!!!! :sad2:
NotBob is safely home from Boston. He's off to the office today. I have to clean the house but will more than likely be doing that this afternoon as there isn't NEARLY enough time to do it before I go get the boys, AGAIN!
I've started prepping for our trip, which is good because:
:banana::banana:SINGLE DIGIT DANCE BABY!!!!:banana::banana:

Whew! LOL
Thanks for all the replies on the resort switching! I'm good now! :cutie: We'll probably do bell services thing, since I don't CARE where my stuff is while I'm at the park. As long as they don't lose me panties, I'm good. :thumbsup2

Have a great day, Fockers!
The sun is shining, and let me tell you...That just DOESN'T happen around here very often!

MEL:banana:

Doug's MRI was good.

I'm almost finishes with The Devil's Punchbowl by Greg Isles. Good story but very violent which usually doesn't bother me, but this involves dog fighting. Also reading The Murder's Daughters which I'm enjoying and I have a biography of Louis Armstrong and a book called The Book Thief among other things to get to.

Good luck SD! We never got out early except for end of the semester exams. Glad that NotBob is home. Mitch just left. :upsidedow

Went to F & G yesterday. While it was nice, it seemed much more subdued than last year. I'm not sure if it was the weather or the economy, but while the flowers were nice, it was just meh. Maybe also because I really liked how my pictures turned out last year, so I was really expecting something special this year. All the same topiary just in different places.

I have a dilemma. I met a lady on a military spouse website and we have emailed a few times and she's asking if I'm on FB. I don't think I have anything too personal on there, but should I tell her I am? I talked to most of you for quite a while before we all were on FB, so I felt like I knew you better, and now I have gotten to meet most of you :goodvibes, several times. :woohoo: I know you can block info on FB but never have before. The etiquette of social networking. I would feel rude if I didn't tell her I was because she can look up my name and see that I'm there.

:rotfl2:

Thank you my darling Rosie  They're a horrid lot aren't they

But you love us:hug:

Well, yeah. She's the BESTEST sorta British person we know... :lmao:

:rotfl2: And you know in all of this how do we know that Rosie is REALLY British?:rolleyes1

Frankly, I hardly see the point in sending them to let them out again at 10:35 am!!!! :sad2:

Becasue it can still be counted as a day and they meet the federal guidlines of mandatory school days:sad2:

As long as they don't lose me panties, I'm good. :thumbsup2

You can probaly do that well enough on your own, no?;):rotfl2:

I will need one after my mom. I am in charge of all plans. Everytime I tell her something she asks me if we really want to do that. I am really hoping to make Ip-Dip if my roof doesn't cost to much.

Glad Doug is feeling better. A wine country tour sounds like fun.

Heck, I'm more British than Jo;)

I saw Monty Python and the Holy Grail when it first came out. I was actually taking a class in Arthurian literature at the time. There were 11 people in the theater. 10 sat there with a glazed and confused look on their face. I almost peed myself from laughing so hard. My mom went with me and still asks me what was so funny. She doesn't get English humor and her grandmother was from England. I love Monty Python.

Sorry about your foot but you get to go to Italy. One of my dream destinations.

I remember the days of Cub Scouts my husband was the pack leader. I am looking forward to the warm weeather although it has upset my grandson. He keeps telling the snow not to worry, what little is left.

Are you going tomorrow?

+++++++
Morning all. It's friday, I'm only watching one kid til noon so it's been a quiet morning. I'm looking forward to that warm 50 degree weather this weekend. I have to bake a cake for tonight. It's World Day of Prayer, not sure what that is. My church merged with another this past December and the newly merged church is the host. My mother volunteered me to make a cake. I don't even want to go but she's making me do that too so there is a good showing. I need her money to make the final payment for our trip so I'll make the cake at least.
I'm off to try and get the baby to take a nap before her brother gets home. Have a good day all.
