Gotta shower to go see Dr. Seigle. Gus is home again! He's still soooo stuffy and plugged up. I called the ped. this am and he called in a new round of antibiotics so hopefully he'll get better soon.

Poor Gus:hug:

MIL cleaned both bathrooms for me this morning. That's such a bonus I may never let her leave!

Glad she is able to help you out so much:thumbsup2

a hamburger with fried oysters on it...(weird!!!).

:sick:

Anyway, I'll let you know how the eye thing goes.

Definitely check in and let us know how you all are:goodvibes

Both my kiddo's have a sinus infection.. on antibiotics.. what is with this wacky season.. colds that never leave, leading to sicker kids...

Ugh, sorry they are sick Katt:hug:

Oh and this weather... why are the temps like January here ??
Are you having January weather too Mel.
If it's gonna be cold.. so I can't decorate the outside of my house for Christmas.. It might as well snow !!!!

It was like that here the end of last week and over the weekend. This week isn't supposed to be too bad. Highs in high 40's and sunny. Should be nice enough to take Jimmy to the Thanksgiving Day parade on Thursday!:thumbsup2

But I keep saying, "At least it's not snowing." ;)

And everyone, except Jo would agree with you one this ::yes::

Did I forget to tell you that you are my FAVORITE :lovestruc :lovestruc :lovestruc :lovestruc :lovestruc :lovestruc

Mrs T - love the sweatshirt, I bought the mug just like (actually it's the mug I use at work to drink tea)

Is V sick and in the Motherland?

Snow is a four letter word:mad:

***********************************************

So what's everyone doing for Turkey day, I'm going to my brother's (Kelly's dad). Only 7 of this year as my other brother is going to his Inlaws, but then I have the whole family coming Christmas day:eek:

Finally good new about Namath's ears, the left ear is healed !!!! and the right ear is now 90%, we don't have to go back until 12/11!

So can you all believe the Jets!!! OMG, I'm so trying not to get excited as they will just break my heart, but darn it they do look good don't they?!?!?!?

Later Fockers!

Mo-:cool1: :cool1: for Namath. Will Ryan be home for the holiday?

We're going to my brother's ("Jack"). It'll be Mom and I, the four of them, "Sally"'s mother, brother and sister. I can't wait! We picked up our "celebration roast" (I'm a vegetarian) at Whole Foods yesterday.

:mad: I just spent the whole morning building some huge lego car with (actually, for) A and when my friend came to get her daughter, he broke it into pieces. :headache: He was sad, but I give up. Dad can fix it when he gets home. :sad2:

We stay home.. no where to go. I have already begun the prep work.
I have already ...Chopped up onions, celery, toasted bread ( for stuffing/dressing.. yes I completely do my own)
Wed. I'll boil my eggs for deviled eggs, and peel the potatoes. Prep the turkey and put it in the refrigerator.. ready to pop in the oven.

That's the best news on Namath:thumbsup2

I'm actually going to HAVE to go to "Big Lots" on Friday..( normally I stay away from the stores) they are going to have queen sheet sets 400 thread count for 25.00 Even Walmart sells them for 40 bucks:thumbsup2 :thumbsup2 So .. I will probably get two sets

Aiden broke it. It's still in huge chunks, but he won't even pass me a piece, so I'm done. :headache: Kirt can deal with it. :snooty:

I Like Snow :upsidedow

I did, too, until we got over 100 inches last year and it NEVER WENT AWAY until May. ;) Not that I'm bitter. Hi, Sarabeth! :goodvibes

And everyone, except Jo would agree with you one this ::yes::

I know... I've seen flurries twice, but so far (I need a "knock on wood" smilie) nothing has stuck. It's actually in the forecast for the weekend, but since I hope to be in MD...

I imagine if we had THAT MUCH SNOW.. Sarabeth and I would HATE IT TOO.
I remember the blizzard of 1976-1677. It began Snowing Dec 26 and we did not go to school again till late February.
We had 36 inches of snow in our back yard at one point. It was so cold.. walking to the barn to feed the cattle was rough. But since I was still a kid.. I was able to walk ON TOP of the snow.. Dad broke through the crust that had formed.

I seem to remember getting tired of it. Definitely did not like the EXTENDED SCHOOL DAYS... and the loss of Spring Break and part of Summer vacation.

I Like Snow :upsidedow

Yeah, I used tolike snow when I was in school too Sarabeth :headache: :wave:

Hi Fockers,

Missed you Mo:goodvibes

The in-laws are coming to my house, but I cheated and ordered the pre-cooked meal from Genaurdi's. I only have to make vegiies. Jim's mom is making the sweet potatoes and his brother is making homemade mac & cheese. We will probably take Jimmy to the Thanksgiving Day parade.

I have to work on Friday, but I am going to hit a couple of stores before work and then whatever I don't finish then I will do after work.

Finally good new about Namath's ears, the left ear is healed !!!! and the right ear is now 90%, we don't have to go back until 12/11!

WAHOO:woohoo: Great news Mo, something to be thankful for:goodvibes

So can you all believe the Jets!!! OMG, I'm so trying not to get excited as they will just break my heart, but darn it they do look good don't they?!?!?!?

I would sya they look better than the Eagles, but they are just pathetic this year:sad2:

Great deal:thumbsup2

Aiden broke it. It's still in huge chunks, but he won't even pass me a piece, so I'm done. :headache: Kirt can deal with it. :snooty:

Frustrating isn't it. Jimmy does this all the time and then wants help to put it back together:headache:

I did, too, until we got over 100 inches last year and it NEVER WENT AWAY until May. ;) Not that I'm bitter. Hi, Sarabeth! :goodvibes

:wave: :yay: I still think it's a good thing:lovestruc

Yeah, I used tolike snow when I was in school too Sarabeth :headache: :wave:

Last year we only missed 3 days. Not much snow. I guess I don't want too much. Then I would not be able to plan on Florida for Spring break. But some snow is a good thing....:yay:

Hi Mom !!!:wave:
See... I put two quotes together....:goodvibes

First, Hi Sarabeth! :wave2:

Ok, my visit to the eye dr was cut WAY short! We all got in the car (Gus, me and Gma) and started out. It was snowing really hard but I was sure that by the time I hit the main roads about 4 miles down that they'd have plowed/salted SOMETHING....No. We got about 8 miles out from home and I said to my MIL as I slid up behind someone at a light, "THIS IS INSANE. Why I am doing this? We're going to get hit!"

I pulled right over into a parking lot and dialed Dr. Seigle's office. I told her, "No Way Man!" She put me in for tomorrow at 1pm. That's all fine and good but my mom is supposed to fly in tomorrow afternoon and now they're predicting 4-8 inches!!! OK! I give. What am I going to do? Have to see the Dr because my pressure is up. He's only there today and tomorrow because of the holiday! ARGH.

Anyway, we bailed and came back home. It took us almost an hour to go 8 miles down and 8 miles back! Crazy. I'm waiting to see what the roads look like in an hour so I can pick up SD at school. He can ride the bus if he needs to though....

I had to laugh at the comments about the legos, Dawn. That's how I am about legos too! I'll help once but then I'm done. I have NO patience for the little things. :rotfl:

Hope everyone is good!

OH, and Hi Mo! :wave: Glad to hear about Namath's good news!

MEL

:scared1: Glad you are home safely Mel.

About tomorrow. Would it be worth it to tell you mom to take a cab and just pay the cab driver when she gets there? You need to get your eyes checked. Would your mom understand this?

So what's everyone doing for Turkey day, I'm going to my brother's (Kelly's dad). Only 7 of this year as my other brother is going to his Inlaws, but then I have the whole family coming Christmas day:eek:
Mitch and I are having a friend over Thursday and we're all making something so I won't have to do it all. We're planning on watching football and relaxing. :thumbsup2 They both have to work Friday so it won't be too wild. ;)

Finally good new about Namath's ears, the left ear is healed !!!! and the right ear is now 90%, we don't have to go back until 12/11!
That's great! :goodvibes

So can you all believe the Jets!!! OMG, I'm so trying not to get excited as they will just break my heart, but darn it they do look good don't they?!?!?!?
Awesome game yesterday! :cool1:

I'm actually going to HAVE to go to "Big Lots" on Friday..( normally I stay away from the stores) they are going to have queen sheet sets 400 thread count for 25.00 Even Walmart sells them for 40 bucks

Good sheets are wonderful! :cloud9:

I have to work on Friday, but I am going to hit a couple of stores before work and then whatever I don't finish then I will do after work.
One of the malls is opening at 12.01am Friday. :faint:

Mel- hopefully if you're getting that much snow, they will salt or soemthing so it's safer to drive. Not that I would know much about snow being from Texas. ;) :rotfl2:

Sarahbeth- Good job on the quoting! Can you teach Rosie now? :teacher:

I'm teasing, Rosie! ;) :hug:
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Our friend has gone home and her sono showed the baby is perfectly healthy. :yay: She had a flag on her downs test, so they were doing a special scan to see if there were any markers, but the baby looks completely healthy. :cloud9:
We have A's second fillling appt today. They only did one last time so he wouldn't freak. This one I'm not as worried about.
The girls have dance tonight, but all our other activites for the week are on holiday. :thumbsup2
We're going to my brother and SIL's house on Thanksgiving. I'm going to walk in, eat, and leave as soon as possible. I'm not a fan. :rolleyes1 The kids are staying in Austin with my mom until Saturday morning. So, K and I get Friday alone. We'll probably do some shopping and Christmas decorations prep for when the kids get home Saturday. :goodvibes
