Hi Brack! I'm Angela SAH in Orlando. We moved here from Memphis almost 4 years ago. No kids just a dear nephew, 17 months, who lives around the corner.

In the meantime, his teacher wants an instant fix. She even called a social worker on us.

And that's supposed to help how?

But, tomorrow is our 8th anniversary, so we are going out tonight. The boys had school today, but don't tomorrow, so the sitter is also free.

So what do you have planned?

My dad and my mom!

My dad gives people my mom's number too in case his phone is off.

Our pediatrician has been calling us everyday to check on us and took it upon himself to find a psych that accepts our ins. I'm waiting for several to return from lunch so I can make an appt. If we can't get one within a week, he will call for us to see if can cash in a favor.

This is a fabulous doctor!

We have not had one issue, other than he is a communist and was refusing to stand and say the pledge of allegience, since we have gotten the emeds regulated and moved him to public school!

Still working on that, huh? He'll be fine.

I think it took me longer to drive to the appt., than it did for them to do the work! I guess she just got two little rubber spacer things (purple!) on her top right side of her mouth. I guess it's supposed to make room for something metal next week.
It drives me nuts! I never know what's going on there...

Actually...he has been doing great with it, according to the classroom aid. The only thin I am NOT thrilled with is the fact that we have sent emails and left voice messages for the teacher requesting an update since we have a Drs. appt tomorrow and she has yet to respond to us. We threw the gauntlet down today and Jim emailed her, the principal and the counselor. Waiting on a response now!

Thanks eveyone for the hugs. I tried to post about this last Wed. but couldn't see through the tears. We went off to the mall so D could get a haircut and I got him one of the Gorilla pods as an anniversary present.

I went to the eye doctor this morning, and no change to my reading prescription, nor any reason to worry about distance at this point.

Then on the way home, I got pulled over. Oops. I got a warning, though, not a ticket.

And this is a good problem to have, but I bought new jeans Saturday night. I really took my time, since I didn't have the kids, and tried on a bunch of styles and in two different sizes. I bit the bullet and went up a size, because I've been feeling very "muffin top-y" lately - I've gained some weight and am not thrilled. So that's all well and good, but I put them on today and they seemed big. Hmmm. So I did happen to step up on the scale, and somehow I've managed to drop about 5 pounds in the last couple of days. I know Sat. was the end of Aunt Flo's visit, so there could have been some bloating there, but still...

And of course I took the tags off and such, since I'd tried them on Sat.

I'll keep them for "fat days" I guess, but I'm confuzzled. But they are definitely falling down.

We are trying to decide where to go out for dinner. We're bad at this.

I got Jon into the ped at 2:30 our time. So I'll leave work in about 30 minutes and take him to the doc. I know it's a sinus infection. Poor baby.

We just had neighbors move in and the Hubby is in the Salvation Army. and he too has moved some.. WHY do they seem to move you guys around ??

It's a lot like the military in that we are moved to fill a "command" mostly based on the Officer's skills and the needs of the command.

Do you remember the name of the neighbor? If he was an Officer then she was too. The husband and wife go through the seminary together (we call it Training School) and both are ordained and commissioned. I probably know them.
