I meant for it to say, Rachel, for a new language, I like Coffee Break podcasts on iTunes. I used it for my France trip, and my SIL used it for Spanish. :thumbsup2

Usted sabe las cosas importantes. Si usted puede hablar de alcohol, puede ir muy lejos.

Si, oui, si!

Por example: donde estan los banos? Un otra cerveza, por favor!

Y... en francais...

Un vin rouge, sil vous plait?

Merci!

I sometimes wander over to the Spanish board, but unless the conversation involves wine or big books in the library, then I am lost.

I am better at reading any language than hearing or speaking it. I like the romance languages, since they are similar. I don't look at a sign and not know if it says, "Welcome!" or "Caution, land mines" as I felt in Germany. :rotfl:

I took Spanish in high school, but my teacher sucked. I took two college semesters of Italian for free when I worked for the university, but then moved to El Paso and had to get back to Spanish. That was tough. Then I tried to get some French this summer...

I ALWAYS vote for Narcoosee's!!! :goodvibes

My child (DS11) grew an inch in a week; is this even possible?

I think my DH must have had the pen tilted down on 10/29. He looked taller today, so I measured him and the mark is an inch higher. :confused3

YES, with boys totally possible. SD grew 8 inches in a year! NO lie....:scared1:
