I was born and raised in Raleigh. We lived in that area until I was 32 yo. In the last 25 years we have lived in DC, Baltimore, Dallas, San Antonio and 7 years in Oklahoma City. It is the last 25 years that explains why I only had a 65% rating. :confused3 :upsidedow

Raleigh sure was a different place in 1983! You need to get back here soon before you lose anymore rebel. :rotfl2:

Thanks for posting that quiz link, TE!

I got quite a laugh out of the question:

What do you call a LONG sandwich with meats, cheese, veggies?

It's a dang GRINDER, People!

And for that my score is:

0% Dixie. Need help digging out of the snow?

I know we HAVE to do CP, as that is Jon's fav.

I read that the characters were leaving CP, but I can't remember which meal and if it is all characters.

We liked Pop, but I want to try ASMu and ASMo.

What time of year? We did EMH night in January and in August (With Mel and Bob...Hi Mel! :wave2:) and it wasn't too bad. You can get quite a bit done and be wary of the long fast pass lines with short stand-by lanes ;)

Err, in 3 weeks. :rolleyes: Here are two options:

#1
11/30 HS (pm emh)
12/1 MK (pm emh)
12/2 AK
12/3 EP

#2
11/30 AK
12/1 MK
12/2 HS
12/3 EP

Of course there can be other combinations. I am open to suggestions.

I do feel sorry for Mr. T when I realize that DD11 and I are on the EXACT same cycle, and someday our pheremones will influence DD8 at the same time! I think he and DS6 will be running away at that point.:rotfl2:
Poor guy, I know that will happen to David with 3 girls in the house :rotfl2:
I'm scoping out a few sports bars in the neighborhood where DS6 and I can escape...err have some good father-son bonding time. ;)

Mr/Mrs T: We LOVE Scrabble! Do you play with the kids?
We're both Scrabble fans, but we are pretty laid back about it (no timers or dictionaries at hand :) ). I think the kids are just about ready for an introduction to the game. Our oldest certainly is. Now that I think on it, it may be a fun way for her to work on improving her spelling. :teacher:

But what do you push around the store? A shopping cart or a buggy?
Either way what ends up in it adds up to more than you expect by the time you get to check out.:rolleyes1

A buggy. The same thing you push a baby in, although I'm sure that doesn't count towards my 75%. :rotfl:
Shopping cart stuck from my early formative years. As it wasn't an official questions, I don't think it counts against my 79%.

And for that my score is:

0% Dixie. Need help digging out of the snow?
Never a truer reason for me to have been in the south the last 20 years. Shoverling the driveway was one of my least favorite chores.:faint:

Angela - my Jets are doing what they do best, they are trying to raise my hopes to only crush them. Oh yeah, tied for first with NE. YOu know what will happen Thursday night, right? They are going to get their butt kicked! And then the Titans the following week. Yep, got a nice losing streak coming up. :sad2: Man it sucks to be a Jet fan. It's my form of abuse, I know it's wrong, I know my heart will be broken, yet I keep coming back for more.

Gee that sounds like the Dolphins too.:rolleyes:

Bob is now going to have to consult Z first, before he gets to the rental place.

;) :thumbsup2
Oooh that's good to know that Madagascar 2 is funny, can't wait to see it. What is it with all this Fockering going on? :rotfl:

Err, in 3 weeks. :rolleyes: Here are two options:

#1
11/30 HS (pm emh)
12/1 MK (pm emh)
12/2 AK
12/3 EP

#2

12/1 MK
12/2 HS
12/3 EP

Of course there can be other combinations. I am open to suggestions.

Oh yeah!! That's right!
Oh S'latey I hope you have better crowds than I did last year. :scared1:
Ok Let's see.....are you guys driving in or flying? Will you be there for park opening the first day? Are you doing the MVMCP? Do you know what day Pop Warner starts this year, it's usually around this time?

Ok on that note....I would do:
11/30 MK (Doesn't V say Sundays @ MK are good?)
12/1 HS (do this one before pop warner gets there)
12/2 EP (unless the pop warner people are there already)
12/3 AK

So will there be another TR? :rolleyes1

I'm posting on the sly @ work w/ my laptop!!! :woohoo: :tiptoe:

Hi Angela! So is that a Disney cruise you and Mitch are going on?
I'm here now and all of a sudden everyone is not as chatty. :sad1:

Shall we open up a bottle of wine and have another bout of Spanish with the Fockers? :rotfl:

I saw today Macy's having a big sale.

Was also just looking at the American Signature Furnitur ad, so we may have to check them out too!

I had to read SO many pages (from 53 to 61) and then reply that I decided to just do my "update" in a separate post. (Though that will likely make Janet attack me again with her "it's all Mel's fault about the chattiness" thing! LOL)

I wan't attacking, just stating my opinion....LY Mel:hug: :hug:

Well, let me tell you, Bob is now BANNED from renting any more movies! Bob is now going to have to consult Z first, before he gets to the rental place. :sad2:

You better put Z on speed dial:lmao:

Mel, did I miss it? How did SD make out at his sleepover last night????

SO am I Mel...

But then again I have :rotfl2: :rotfl2: I EVEN HUGGED HER...
and Still I got a 100% :yay: :yay:

Best 100% Yankee I have ever met:hug:

Boy you all are chatty today!

So are all the kids off tomorrow and Tuesday? I think we'll get out of the house tomorrow. I have plans to hit the zoo.

Hi T! Thanks for the DL advise. I'll be emailing you soon! My kids have school every day this week (and we didn't get election day off either). Actually DD7 has a Veteran's Day program tomorrow afternoon. I went to it last year and cried my eyes out! It's very moving. The reason they don't do it on Tuesday is because the Vets they invite have other commitments on the actual day. I can't wait and I'll know this year to bring my tissues!

Mo, your Jets went crazy today while my Colts are trying to hang on. :rolleyes:
Sorry, Janet, but hopefully Eli plays better, although the Eagles are favored. :confused3

I like that Brett had a good day. Can't wait to watch Thursday's game! I love anyone that can beat the Pats!

GO COLTS!!!!!

Don't know why...they are going to get their @$$ kicked:sad2:

Sorry Janet. I had the game on a little while ago and the Giants looked mighty good....:confused3

Angela - my Jets are doing what they do best, they are trying to raise my hopes to only crush them. Oh yeah, tied for first with NE. YOu know what will happen Thursday night, right? I don't know, Mo. The Colts beat the Pats last week. I think your Jets have a good shot. And the Titans???? They only won by 7 today and the Bears played horribly! I truly don't believe they'll go undefeated and I think the Jets are just the ones to beat them! :thumbsup2

Anyone that beats NE is :thumbsup2 and the Titans too! I didn't watch the game but with Bret Favre, anything can happen.

Come on Colts!

Angela, have I told you how much I like you lately???? :lovestruc :rotfl2:

~~~~~~~~~~
So, I went to a party to watch the Colts game. It was a chili pitch-in. Very yummy stuff. And it was a great game too! A little too close for comfort, but at least the end result was good!
One funny thing was that the game was on two different TVs at the house where we were. The basement TV was a projection system so it was huge. The upstairs TV was on a DVR, but the basement was not. So, the basement feed was about 4-5 seconds ahead. At one point, I was standing upstairs and we heard a huge roar from the basement. Then, five seconds later, the Colts scored on our TV. After that, I made sure to watch the second half from the basement!:rotfl2:
:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:
I know Janet, just ribbin' you!
Yes, :sad2:
SD didn't end up going on his sleepover. His friend made "other" plans....which totally ticks me off, but SD not so much. He said he enjoyed having a quiet weekend. And he got to watch 20,000 Leagues with Gus.
Yep. I'm 100% NOT a Rebel....
I was about to say I have NEVER Met a 100% Yankee...
But then again I have :rotfl2: :rotfl2: I EVEN HUGGED HER...
Awwww. Thanks Katt. You're the Best 100% Southern Gal I've ever met!
******************
I AM FUMING!!!
I DVR'd the race because we were at the movie/dinner. I came home and started it, skipping commercials. At 9:40 I was down to the last 25 laps. And ABC PRE-EMPTED the end for America's Funniest Videos and showed the END of the race on ESPN!!!! OMG. WTH don't they tell you that when you set up the DVR!!! So, I didn't get to see the end. I'd love to wait till Thurs. and catch the recast on Speed but I'm sure someone will tell me who won the dang race by then.
I am SOOOOOOOOO mad! :headache: :eek: :eek: :headache:
No MVMCP (out of our budget). The MVMCP dates are 11/30 and 12/2 so that leaves MK for either 12/1 or 12/3. I don't want to wait until our last full day for MK for several reasons.
Pop Warner starts on 12/7, so I think we will be ok. I can see some arriving maybe as early as 12/4, but I hope we are in the clear.
So will there be another TR? :rolleyes1
Dude! I two unfinished ones sitting in a corner somewhere collecting dust.
I saw today Macy's having a big sale.
HUGE sale and it's dangerous. My credit card is still smokin'! :lmao:
Whoa. Easy Rosie. You can be her favorite...:worship: :laughing:
:rotfl2:
Well, let me tell you, Bob is now BANNED from renting any more movies! First he tortured me with The Happening. Then with The Man Who Knew Too Much. And then, last night, with There Will Be Blood with Daniel Day-Lewis. OMG. Awful. Awful. Awful. Without a SINGLE doubt, the worst movie I have EVER seen. Bob is now going to have to consult Z first, before he gets to the rental place. :sad2:
DUDE - I never let Andy pick all the movies! :sad2:
Alex the Lion (who is Ben Stiller...) Fockered the Zebra (Chris Rock!) Bob turned to me and mouthed, "OMG, he FOCKERED him!!!" LOL. Made me crack up!
I think we're owed royalties or something... first the Tinkerbelle move and now Madagascar! :rolleyes:
What do you call a LONG sandwich with meats, cheese, veggies?
It's a dang GRINDER, People!
WTH is a GRINDER??? It's a sandwich. Period. Or here in California if you throw it in a tortilla is a WRAP! :rotfl2:
I read that the characters were leaving CP, but I can't remember which meal and if it is all characters.
Are you kidding me? WTH is Disney doing get rid of all the character meals? :confused3
A buggy. The same thing you push a baby in, although I'm sure that doesn't count towards my 75%. :rotfl:
We call it a basket. Not a cart not a buggy. :confused:
Shall we open up a bottle of wine and have another bout of Spanish with the Fockers? :rotfl:
I've got my English to Spanish Dictionary and I'm not afraid to use it! :cool2:
Hi Jodi! No worries, I'm happy to help you out. I didn't realize it's your 1st visit! You're going to love it! Make sure you ride Indy (my fav), Matterhorn (Evan's fav) and Space Mtn. That's the BEST ticket in the park, IMO. :thumbsup2
I am still amazed that me a Brit is 30% Rebel !! Must be cuz I'm from the South of England !!:rotfl2:
