Hi, Mr. T!

CE gorgeous baby, what's her name?

Thanks! It's on FB (on her photos and maybe some status comment...), you know how I am about real names... ;)

She is a cutie:cutie:

Thanks!

I've painted my toe nails does that count towards my packing? :rotfl:

Sure!

ce-- great picture!!! love the red hair!

Thanks!

i watched forgetting sarah marshall last night. anyone see it?? it was a cute movie, but it did have some full frontal male nudity. i was a bit shocked!! :eek: never seen that in a comedy!! :lmao:

::yes:: We watched it at my cousin's on Friday night after the kids went to bed. We all felt slightly awkward! :rotfl:

Anybody else get an earring from Brighton at Perimeter Mall in Atlanta? I realize this makes no sense if you didn't! :rotfl2:

Um... You can't just leave us like that! Or are you in London again with the Russians? ;) :lmao:

CE- we missed you!

Thanks, Kat! :goodvibes

Finally my super is coming to look at the hole in my ceiling (did i tell u guys it caved in again??). and on Thursday I am taking my friend Diana to Spring Awakening for her birthday w/ a trip to a Japanese restaurant first! I'm very excited. I am also prob going to hit the World of Disney store before I meet up with her.

Sounds like a good plan!

Is it really cold there? My sister is in NYC at the moment she's making people redundant :sad2:

Oh, I bet that's hard.

Took MIL to my derm (she was having an itchy scalp issue...) and they said she has an infection! So, good thing she went!
SD got yet another wonderful report from the dentist! No cavities again!

Got salad and breadsticks for dinner from the pizza place. Easy. No cooking!

What are you guys doing? (I have to go finish typing part two of the update!!!!)

MEL:banana:

Ewww for MIL, sorry about Gus, and woohoo for SD. :thumbsup2 The boys & I all have dentist appointments next week.

i had to update my siggie, cuz my baby turned 3 on friday. :sad1:

they grow up way too fast!!

Awww, happy birthday, belated!

OMG. You will NOT believe this... ;)

We got home from tennis, having driven through fast food. Buzz was just starting to work on homework and the phone rang. It was the town library, wanting to talk to Buzz. I am thinking, "Uh, oh! Overdue book?" but we'd not been in a while.

Yeah, we had bought raffle tickets back in Oct. for a Wii, and he won! :cool1: Which is very exciting, but you all may remember that I was most excited about getting one for Santa to bring. Sigh. Woody is all worked up about having already sent a letter to Santa to ask for one. I have the extra remotes and such but can't get them out yet. I don't know quite how to handle that bit of it.

Not the worst problem to have, but I can't believe it! :rotfl:

OK believe it or not I posted an update on my TR too...I just wanna be like Mel! ;)

That's awesome, CE! Will you give me your other one?? :rotfl:

Well, my house doesn't want to be decorated for Christmas this year. First of all, some of my lighted garland that I use on the front door didn't work last weekend when I was hanging it. Of course, I didn't test it first, but after I hung it, I plugged it in and nothing. So, I've only got part of my front porch decorated.

Tonight, I'm doing my bannister while the girls are at dinner with the FIL and the largest strand of lights is dead. Of course, I don't have a replacement set, so I guess I add that to my list of things to pick up tomorrow. It's frustrating though since that what I wanted to do tonight! ARGHH!!!!!

I'm a bit scared to get out our tree....

omg, that's awesome!!! maybe you could have him send another letter saying he already has a wii. or you could tell him that santa will know.

i'm not sure about the extra remotes... it will be hard to wait until christmas to get them out......

but those are just minor details................ he won a wii, yippeeeee!!!:banana:

well, at least you started!!! :thumbsup2

i always have problems with the lights, seems like every year at least one set is not working!:headache:

Wow! CE that's so awesome! I'm not sure how I'd handle it either though....

Bob just called again to say hi. He must be lonely! He's off to meetings all day. (it's morning there in Korea)

Gotta get the sick Gus outta my bed! He's all comfy watching TV in there, but I'd like to go to bed early if I can. Poor baby! He's had some tylenol though and it seems to have brought the fever down a bit. I gave him some more crackers. He said he feels naseaus when he thinks about eating crackers (which in my opinion means you are NOT better....) so I guess he's still sort of sick.

I haven't seen Forgetting Sarah Marshall yet. Thanks for the warning!

MEL

Howdy ya'll!
You're right, Kristel! How could I forget Michelle??? Sorry! But she's from "up north". In fact, she's more of a Chicagoan than a Hoosier! :rotfl2:

:lmao:
~~~~~~~~~~
Well, my cousin's wife had her double mastectomy yesterday. I got a text from my cousin at 7:00pm and she had just gotten into a room, so I didn't drive downtown to visit her. She's at the University hospital where Kristel's DH is getting treatment. Everything went as planned and she's doing fine. Just dealing with pain now.
:thumbsup2 I hope she recovers quickly!
So, I have pictures of my new niece!
And with her big brother:
Adorable!
Update on Bob below!
Gus has a high temp now but he's keeping liquids down. Poor Gus!
Bob called! Finally!
He's ok. He has a bad cold, he said Korea (where he is anyway) is FILTHY! The diritiest place he's EVER seen in fact. SO, that's not cool. He said that the food is pretty terrible and the neon is WAY WAY overdone. LOL.
He visited the DMZ between N and S Korea though. He saw alot of guards with machine guns and they take your passport when you get there, and then give it back later. Skeery! He's off to some other part of Korea the day after tomorrow (which is tomorrow night for us) and then back to Japan. He's flying home on Saturday!!!! Yay!!!!!
I'm glad he is OK. That is nuts though!
Heres my issue right now. I have a 25 Y.O half sister Elizabeth. from my birth mother. she was 11 when I first met her. shes been my favorite out of the 3 girls that Mom has. but,,shes kinda turned out to be a mess. she has 2 children from 2 dads. 4 and 7. they dont have any contact with the kids. one of them just got out of jail last week for holding a gun to her head and other problems. hes not even on Jacobs birth certificate. Shes also been very sick. she has Lupus and Fibromyalgia. needs knee surgery. is in the hospital about 1 or 2x a month. she just qualified for disability and gets food stamps and welfare for the kids. she was down here last weekend with the kids. (she lives in Springfield Mass, 1 hour 45 mins away from me,,,) he had to leave town in a hurry last weekend because of something with an ex-bf and her guy friend got into it over the friend walking Mackenzie down the street. not sure, I lost track,,,but she called me crying and scared so she escaped with the kids for the weekend. I`m glad I can be here for her as a big sister and a good Aunt for the kids. we had a nice weekend and she said she hadnt slept that good in ages! heres my issue.......shes planning on moving down here with the kids to get away from all the carp and make a fresh start!! shes coming on Friday to look at Apartments. down here close to me. her parents think its a great idea! me? not so much!!
I think she needs way too much support than what I can give her. and I dont really want her "friends" following her and knowing where I live. Steve says hes not getting involved. her and a boyfriend lived with us for a year about 7 years ago. I dont know what to do. I dont think theres anything I can do. but be supportive I guess. I just dont really want the responsibilty as I would be the only family member down here. and I dont want to seem like heel and object either.
I just wanted to throw that out here and see what you guys though of the situation. :
I'd just let her know up front about strangers around your kids and the house. Let her know you are proud of her for making this big decision but try to get her to understand you have your own life to deal with and you don't need the extra drama 24/7!
Hey that's my place! Who took that!??
Anybody else get an earring from Brighton at Perimeter Mall in Atlanta? I realize this makes no sense if you didn't! :rotfl2:
Say wha'? :confused:
I can't believe how ahead of things everyone is, but i think my extended turkey day messed me up. This week I need to get cracking!
Finally my super is coming to look at the hole in my ceiling (did i tell u guys it caved in again??). and on Thursday I am taking my friend Diana to Spring Awakening for her birthday w/ a trip to a Japanese restaurant first! I'm very excited. I am also prob going to hit the World of Disney store before I meet up with her.
How is everyone else doing today???[/COLOR]
I have only mailed 1 card because of where it was going. I haven't started on the others yet.
:scared: about your ceiling! The B-day plans sound awesome!
Poor Gus is still sick, he has a fever and a bad headache. I just got him to eat two crackers though and he's been keeping down ginger ale all day. i think he'll be out of school tomorrow though....
Doug has a cold now!:mad:
OMG. You will NOT believe this... ;)
:lmao: :lmao:
(((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((
Baby it's cold outside. I wish it was 60 here! Try 30 you Florida whiner's!!!
Like I said Doug has a cold! I told him to spray everything he touches with Lysol! I do not want a cold, period, exclamation. Which reminds me I have to pop some Zinc!
Got all my errands done today. I had to get a gift card from a local fine dining establishment for my boss. That place doesn't open until 5:00PM during the week. So I had to piddle around for about an hour and a half because I was done with everything else. My piddling cost me about $50. 1 shirt, 1 sweater and a pair of stretchy pants to go with the shirt. I guess it could have been worse. Merry Christmas to me!
Speaking of updates, I need to add a couple to mine! Then I need to catch up on everybody else. Maybe tomorrow. Gotta go chat with Doug before he hits the hay!
Heroes in on tonight on G4. Can't miss that!
Later dudes and dudettes!
That's awesome, CE! Will you give me your other one?? :rotfl:
D is probably selling it to a coworker, but... ;)
It's frustrating though since that what I wanted to do tonight! ARGHH!!!!!
I'm a bit scared to get out our tree....
Oh, annoying. The only thing I didn't get out on Sunday was my window lights (we oddly have NO front outdoor outlets, so I can't light up my bushes, walk, etc. :headache: ) I'm, scared, too.
omg, that's awesome!!! maybe you could have him send another letter saying he already has a wii. or you could tell him that santa will know.
Well, we haven't SEEN Santa yet, so I said we could update when we did that.
i'm not sure about the extra remotes... it will be hard to wait until christmas to get them out......
but those are just minor details................ he won a wii, yippeeeee!!!:banana:
D & I decided that we'd just probably go buy another one for right now. We'll want 4 eventually, and we only have one extra downstairs, so this would be 3 by Christmas Day. We'll just tell them that it's too close to Christmas to worry about more games.
Wow! CE that's so awesome! I'm not sure how I'd handle it either though....
Thanks, we're very excited. Well, except that Woody's a tad jealous as Buzz got all the applause and such at the library. :rolleyes: He'll get over it, I'm sure, as we all play.
Adorable!
Thanks!
:rotfl: This happens every time I have to kill time.
*****************************************
Yeah, so I did just talk to D, and we think we have to let them play, as two, for the next few weeks since it was won. So, as I said, I think we'll just go pick up one more controller, bringing us to 3 when they get the Wii Play for Christmas. The Fit will still come from Santa. But now Santa probably needs a few more little things.
I still am in shock!
That's awesome, but what a dilemma.
Hey now we have a Jo's caravan, A RedNeck Shelter and an entry for best decorated HMMMM ( I'll be nice) Abode !!!!!
Just a quick drive-by before heading out, but this jumped out at me. No clue what it means :confused3, but I live about a mile or so from the mall in question... :)
Um... You can't just leave us like that! Or are you in London again with the Russians? ;) :lmao:
:rotfl2: Yes, now I'm in Atlanta! No, this summer I went to the Brighton at said mall. They ask for your info, which I thought they all shared but apparently not, so I got one earring in the mail and if I attend the Brighton party in Atlanta, I get the other one. My sister was there with me and she hasn't received her earring yet, so I thought if anyone else did, I'd pass it along. Get it? ;)
Yeah, we had bought raffle tickets back in Oct. for a Wii, and he won! :cool1:
How exciting for him! And such an ordeal for you! :)
That's awesome, but what a dilemma.
Thanks, it's just kind of funny, but we're really happy for him. He is my "unlucky" kid as a rule, but we are so glad he was lucky now!
It's fine, it just threw me for a loop!
i had to update my siggie, cuz my baby turned 3 on friday. :sad1:
Ewww... He put sick germs in your bed! :eek: I'm teasing. My kids always like to cuddle up in my bed too when they're sick. :cloud9:
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I'm off to bed. We have the field trip super early, so I won't be on until after lunch. Have a great morning! :goodvibes

Well I guess everyone's gone to bed.....I will probably plop and hit the sack soon myself. KC is off to do the laundry at the 24 hour place around the corner so I am relaxing a bit. I still need to straighten up and do some dishes before bed.

Night all!
