That sucks! You need to get on the phone with them. I'm sure they want the panel to have an international feel; they need to take that into account in reimbursing your expenses.

I've sent an e-mail!!!! The thing is they've booked my flight for Thursday so they know how much it costs!

we had a good meal and will be having it again tonight! so today i am going to move on w the holidays and get out the xmas stuff so we can do the tree tonight. KC may be away for a day or two this weekend so I wanna get it done soon! first i have to clean the casa! so i'll be in and out today.... have a great day!

Finger is still a bit painful and swollen. I think I may lose the finger nail as I have some dark areas underneath.

I hope they do something about it. I know they'll take advantage of the fact that the panel does have an international perspective in marketing, etc. They should understand that there is some extra expense in that benefit.

I wedged my pinky finger between a pair of 30 pound weights I was putting away this morning at the gym. I posted the impact of the injury on my typing this morning on FB.

It's not a great day for that type of injury. I had to put my accountant/book keeper hat on this morning to generate and send invoices for last month's work. It's amazing how many ones and twos I typed this morning, and I now appreciate more how much that pinky finger does when I'm typing.

I've finally got my contract but they're only allowing me the same amount of $ for flights for my free trip as the Americans and it comes up at least $1,000 short I can't pay for my free trip!!!!

And they wait till 3 days till departure to tell you this HAPPY INFORMATION??

Did a little more retail therapy today. I was so embarrassed when I was at Kohl's.... I've had the same check-out person for the past 3 days and she called me out on it. When I left she yelled out "See you tomorrow!"

I had to get new glasses, so I headed over to LensCrafters and they're having a sale. I got Prada frames for 40% off! I can't wait to pick them up this afternoon!

I swear I think my cat has a dogs soul trapped inside her body as she just loves to play fetch. My mom bought her a new toy a few days ago and she just loves the thing. It is a small red glittery mouse. Well Amber will not stop harassing me to play fetch with her with this darn toy. My arm is sore from having thrown it a million times over the past 3 days. If I try and ignore her and her mouse she just sits there and cries and cries.

The weather in FL is similar to here and I prefer short sleeves and pants for bed. Make sure you don't wear a nightgown- you never know when you'll toss and turn and wake up with your drawers showing, which will make it awkward with your roommate and you.

Thanks for all the recipes! I am going to try the egg one too Katt. That sounds good, and I've got some ham left overs that I shoved in the freezer so that will work!

Got the kids home from school, homework done, nana bread baked (Oh, yeah, Janet, NO nuts. My kids are allergic!), made a batch of chocolate chip cookies and now I'm checking my email and in here.

Gonna make pasta for dinner but not till around 6:30. MIL and I had a big lunch at Max & Erma's. I'm still full!
