Glad you're liking it! He's such a great writer. I love ALL his books!!!

::yes:: He's so funny!

Bob comes upstairs (and stops playing video games!) so that we can actually see each other for a while before he leaves town!

Sounds like you had a good weekend, too! :) Have a fun night. :rolleyes1 :rotfl:

She's doing great now. Best of all, she has her "build-a-b00b" surgery in less than two weeks. After that, she'll be done! YAY!!!:banana:

That's terrific news, Jodi! :goodvibes

I am stil doing laundry:sad2: It won't be done before I go to bed, so I'll have to do some each night when I come home!

I got nothing, but I see you're still on, so I wanted to say hi! :rotfl2:

************************************************
We watched the new animated show by the makers of Arrested Development. We both just adored Arrested Development. The pilot of the animated show just stank. Horribly. :scared: I'm so sad. :rotfl:

after looking at lists and lists i think i narrowed my choices to 3.

i have:
tiger lilly
Bianca
Zira

im leaning towards tiger lilly but it might cahnge in 5 minutes. :rotfl2:

Everyone have a good night!

Good evening everyone!!

Hi Debra! Here is a link to my first PTR/TR that tells the story of how we met :love:.
I hope that explains it for you :goodvibes.
Tracy, i read that post and I nearly cried. That has got to be one of the sweetest love stories ever. :lovestruc
thanks for the explanation on enchanted. i hope I didn't offend by my stating about cheating. :flower3:

We had the lay off at work Wednesday that I knew about, over 40 folks let go:sad1:
This is such a scary time for everyone. Even though DH is communting 75 minutes to work we are very thankful that he found a job after being out of work for only 5 weeks. :hug:
Water in the basement, septic needs to be pumped monthly for $200/month.
My dad owned a septic tank manufacturing and installation business for 40 years and I have NEVER heard of anyone needing their tank pumped every month. It must be greatly undersized or in bad soil that doesn't perk?? :confused:
KC's birthday is tomorrow
Happy birthday to KC :woohoo:

We are under Tornado warnings :sad2:
We had a pretty good weekend. Nothing major just shopping and getting caught up on laundry and housework. DH is learning how to tie a tie. :rolleyes1
I have to work 40 hours this week :scared: plus we have cubscouts, cheernastics, tball practice and karate. :eek:

Hi Tracy! I'm doing great, thanks for asking! Your Bill has such a good sense of humor (That might seem out of the blue, I meant to say it before and I kept forgetting it. So, I've completely forgotten what he said that made me think that, but I'm going to comment anyway! ROFL!!!)

************************************
That's all that's new around here. Hoping Bob comes upstairs (and stops playing video games!) so that we can actually see each other for a while before he leaves town!

MEL:

Mel, I happen to think Bill is hilarious, he makes me laugh every day. I hope Bob came upstairs, I know how you feel about video games, Bill stayed up way too late last night playing MLB 09 the show. It amazes me how he can play those games with one hand and a weak one at that.

Congrats on 5 years, Tracy! I got a cake from Beach Club when Eric and I celebrated our 10th in December 2007. The only problem was that we couldn't eat it all. The choice is a standard 4 piece cake that you can get anywhere or a bigger cake that was more customized. I chose the bigger cake and then we ended up throwing a lot of it away. :sad2:

As for the ADRs, I'm thinking that you or I need to be in charge of them. Scott should not even have the confirmation numbers! I don't trust him!!! :laughing:

That would be hilarious! We could do it in Ohana at the end of dinner! The lady there would be a great MC, wouldn't she? :confused3

Thanks Jodi, it will be 5 years on Dec. 18th since he gave me the ring :love:, so we call that our anniversary. I will be doing some research about the cake situation. I was going to do the mini castle cake at our dinner at Narcoossee's but he wants dinner there on our anniversary date and we leave the next day. I just wanted to surprise him someway.

Scott and confirmation #'s = TROUBLE :lmao:

I told Bill the way we are talking now we will be with you two on friday for MNSSHP, the next day at Epcot and lunch hopefully at LeCellier, and that sunday at AK Tusker House and then Ip Dip dinner that night. I said "Bill we will be around them all weekend, they will get sick of us :eek:".

Oh and there will not be any ceremonies what so ever at Ohana's.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~
So, I drove two hours to stay a party for about 2 hours and then drive another 2 hours back. Now, I'm finishing laundry and getting ready for another busy week. Gotta run errands in the morning, so I may or may not check in here in the AM. Hope everyone has a great day!
Sounds like a very busy day. Have fun with your errands.
I am stil doing laundry:sad2: It won't be done before I go to bed, so I'll have to do some each night when I come home!
I hate laundry, seriously can't stand it, but I love clean clothes.
We watched the new animated show by the makers of Arrested Development. We both just adored Arrested Development. The pilot of the animated show just stank. Horribly. :scared: I'm so sad. :rotfl:
We almost watched that, now I am happy we didn't.
Tracy, i read that post and I nearly cried. That has got to be one of the sweetest love stories ever. :lovestruc
Debra, you are too sweet. I adore Bill :love:. You didn't offend with the "cheating" statement at all :hug:.
I hope you mean tornado watches, the warnings really scare me!! Sounds like you are going to have a very busy week.
hi all!! i've been mia! very busy weekend. got a lot accomplished. unpacked more and organized more. skimmed a bit.
congrats dawn on selling your house and finding a new one!!
the market in ohio sucks right now! our contract is up on april 29th. we're not going to renew. we're going to rent our house out. i just can't see taking 20,000 less than it was worth 5 yrs ago. we'll just rent it out till the market picks back up.
hopefully be back tomorrow to chat. i have to work tomorrow night. have a great week everyone! :hug:
Hey there gang!!!!
Before I recap I have to tell you about the T.V. movie I just watched. It was so funny. It was "My Fake Fiance" starring Melissa Joan Hart and Joey Lawrence on ABC Family. I haven't seen a good TV movie in a long time. I highly recommend it!!!
Weekend Wrap-UP:
JO did a dye job on her hair. She’s been keeping up on Susan Boyle. She is fantastic. Just goes to show you, you can’t judge a voice by it’s cover!
DEB had a PJ Saturday. She went shopping for the Man. She says she had an oil change, laundry, housework, etc. She says she ended up doing zilch except balancing the checkbook.
ROSIE has her new stove and had to explain how to get pee in a little bottle. Wants advice on pin starter sets. One word - E-BAY.
LORI did some catching up with herself.:thumbsup2
JODI had a good time at the race for the cure.
G-LUV and Jon are both sick. She needs to start packing for the move that will happen in about a month.:hug:
CEL BEL is missing her man. It was drunken party weekend on campus. She has a close friend getting married. In Redneck country, ie - low rent district, you should be overjoyed with $20. I loved getting gift cards. I was older when I got married and had all the basics. As the matter of fact Doug and I have been married 10 years and I just opened a box of cutlery that we received as a wedding gift. BTW Cel Bel gets more done with out the fiance around. This will be a recurring theme in your life my dear!:rotfl2: She has a new guinea pig. Wants name suggestions. How about Bell or Mim.
CE got her boating license. She might have more in-laws visiting.:scared1:
DAWN has a new home!!!:woohoo::woohoo:
KAT is feeling a lot better now that the apartment is clean and organized. She is celebrating with ice cream. They went for a walk. Hey, I’m a big fan of desert before dinner. Oh, before and after works for me too.
KC’s B-bay is today. She got him a chair and ice cream cake.
Happy Birthday, KC!!
CARRIE had a margarita night and I missed it. Dang!
HI LESSA!!!
V had a beach day.
SCOTT - If I get married again - You are def. invited!!!!!!$$$$$$$$
MEL - You’re on the guest list too!!! Bob’s gone until Wed. I’m glad you showered this weekend.
JANET had fun with Jimmy and friend at the museum and dinner. Then she was out late talking with neighbors.
MrsKS is planning the 5yr together trip in Dec. She is letting Jodi and Scott plan for Oct. Hey one thing with Scott, you won’t know ‘til he knows. That may be 1 hour before eating time! Never a dull moment.
MO had to deal with a layoff of co-workers. She’s been working hard and resting hard when she can. She has adopted the CE way of cleaning. Do a little, rest a little!
LISA had her parents in town. Her dad got food poisoning on the way to visit. They thought they found a house but there were too many ‘unseen’ problems. You definitely don’t want to start with those kinds of issues.
A lot of MIA's. Hope everyone is doing well. I noticed there was lots of laundry going on. :sad2:
*********************************************************
Yep, it was carppy here today. Perfect for laundry and reading.
Doug and a friend got the ceiling up in the basement. Guess who gets to tape and mud the seams. :rolleyes1 Not going to be fun.
I did manage to get out Saturday. I was up at 9AM. :eek: It was overcast but the temperature was perfect. I mowed and got the flea and tick junk down in the back yard. I sprayed those pesky weeds and planted some more decorative grass.
We went out to eat at Pepe's. A local Mexican place. I forgot my camera.:sad2: It is always good. Then I crashed at 11PM. Those are not vamping hours.
This morning I'm getting back on the night train.:cool2:
I'll try to get back on here tonight.
Be good!
What was it Focker Laundry day??
I got KC's cake and went to the laundromat around 8pm, thinking it would be quiet...NOPE I had to wait for a dryer AND I got in a fight with some random woman. I pull my laundry cart in front of 2 machines, i clearly have enough to fill them both, and walk to put money on my laundry card (2 feet away at the machine) and some woman threw ONE thing into one of my machines so she could claim it. I wasn't mad because really if she wanted it that bad she could have it, but she got all bent out of shape AT ME when I looked confused. It was all I could do not to start a big scene, but I walked away and used some other machines. YEESH.
KC got the chair home safe and sound, it's comphy! We had some McDonald's and then he did some work. At midnight I asked him to get me an ice cube for my drink, he opened the freezer and missed the cake altogether! :rotfl:I made him reopen it and showed it to him. LOL. He was a happy camper.
It's almost 2 and we are on the way to bed, him to sleep me to read a bit first. I haven't decided what time I am leaving tomorrow for KC's shindig, but it doesn't start till 8pm. Oh and BTW the ex isn't coming! :woohoo:I think the beotch wife made her not wanna come. Oh well.
/
Good morning! Bob's off to the airport. Sd's giving me no END of trouble about going to school! UGH! Teenagers!!!!!
I'm going back to bed as soon as he's on the dang bus!
Just wanted to pop in and say:
Happy Birthday, KC
**** Oh, and a reminder if anyone was going to DVR Oprah today. CE's friend, who wrote the book about Columbine is on today.
MEL:banana:
Only bath's:confused3;)
:rotfl2: And sounds like you had a busy but fun weekend!
that was incredible. I am confused, does Simon fly back and forth to do both shows because he is also doing american idol right? :confused3
I know the stuff they're showing here at the moment was filmed a while ago as it's the preliminary stages!
I agree on the pins. But be careful on mentioning it on these boards :rolleyes1
Have I missed some new rules or something?
We are going to celebrate 5 years together :love:. I am thinking about having a small cake delivered to our room. Has anyone had a cake from the Poly before?
Nope, don't all the cakes come from the GF bakery? Or do I have that completely wrong?
Keep your Focker fingers and toes crossed, I am back to the DR tomorrow and hopefully get the stitches out! It will be so much easier to shower when they are!
Good luck Mo :hug:
Jo's always been like that. At one point T offered to divorce Andy to marry Jo:rotfl2:
Several times :rotfl2:
We're looking into the possibility of public water/sewer out there, but probably we'll have to pass, which is really disappointing. Back to the drawing board...
Oh no what a pain!
what do you guys think of toby, basil, or gus?
after some research and ahem...examinations. I've discovered that my new pet is actually a girl.
cleo, olivia, fauna. any other suggestions?
Made me laugh that she's now a girl, next door got a new kitten called Holly a few months ago, on their first trip to the vets Holly became an Ollie :rotfl2:
We think we've found a lake house to rent for the time that D wants to fly his dad and step-mum in for his dad's 70th b-day in July, too. Reasonable and very cool!
:thumbsup2
I want to marry Jo too. I'll do the baking and she can do the home repair. :worship:
I could travel around America free at this rate ;):rotfl:
So, I drove two hours to stay a party for about 2 hours and then drive another 2 hours back. Now, I'm finishing laundry and getting ready for another busy week. Gotta run errands in the morning, so I may or may not check in here in the AM. Hope everyone has a great day!
Wow that's a lot of driving!
We are under Tornado warnings :sad2:
We had a pretty good weekend. Nothing major just shopping and getting caught up on laundry and housework. DH is learning how to tie a tie. :rolleyes1
Yikes be careful!
hi all!! i've been mia! very busy weekend. got a lot accomplished. unpacked more and organized more. skimmed a bit.
Hi Rach :wave2:
I did manage to get out Saturday. I was up at 9AM. :eek: It was overcast but the temperature was perfect. I mowed and got the flea and tick junk down in the back yard. I sprayed those pesky weeds and planted some more decorative grass.
You have to spray tick spray on your lawn????
KC got the chair home safe and sound, it's comphy! We had some McDonald's and then he did some work. At midnight I asked him to get me an ice cube for my drink, he opened the freezer and missed the cake altogether! :rotfl:I made him reopen it and showed it to him. LOL. He was a happy camper.
How funny and Happy Birthday KC!!!!
Played 9 holes this morning, it was so crowded too goodness knows why??? When I got home my MMC party box had arrived :yay: I'll post photos later, we're going to use the stuff for Ellie's party next month :thumbsup2
My dad owned a septic tank manufacturing and installation business for 40 years and I have NEVER heard of anyone needing their tank pumped every month. It must be greatly undersized or in bad soil that doesn't perk?? :confused:
Well, we found out more info. The tank is 2000 gallons, so good size, but they don't actually have a septic system, just a holding tank, so they pump monthly what they use. Apparently, they can't even do laundry there. The house was very small on a 1/4 acre, but then about 1200 sq. ft. was added on. They built the addition over the well and the septic tank is in the front yard because it has to be so many feet from the well. There isn't enough land far enough from the well and property lines to put a proper system into place. The township engineer says public water and sewer stops 3 houses before this one and he doesn't think it will extend "in his lifetime." It's a shame because this is a really beautiful house!
Heading to work now. I'm excited because I found my MP3 player, so I can listen to my music as I type my reports :D
Hope you all have a Fockerific day!
Mel, I'm SO loving that Bill Bryson book. :thumbsup2
He's great! :rotfl: I just started one called Dog On It by Spencer Quinn told from the dog's point of view. Pretty good mystery so far.
Happy Birthday to KC:cheer2:
I hope he has a great day! :dance3:
and we went to the pool swimming today.
:eek: Our pool's only 78. What's yours?
We watched the new animated show by the makers of Arrested Development. We both just adored Arrested Development. The pilot of the animated show just stank. Horribly. :scared: I'm so sad. :rotfl:
AD is a great show! :cool1:
Sounds like you made a smart decision even if it's one you don't like.
:eek: Our pool's only 78. What's yours?
I wish it was warm enough to swim outside, but this is Michigan. They are predicting SNOW for tomorrow!
The pool is indoors at the gym! :rotfl: I think it's about 85 degrees. :lmao:
Mel
Good Morning All !:)
Ya'll need to stop marrying Jo she's'mine :lmao:
The girls have now decided against pin trading!! Said can we have the money instead!!:rotfl2:
The Pee made it to the Bottle :rotfl2:
I started my Sept PTR :banana:
Happy Birthday KC :banana::love::hug::cool1::thumbsup2:banana:
Oh and there will not be any ceremonies what so ever at Ohana's.
:rotfl:
We almost watched that, now I am happy we didn't.
It was dumb. I don't mind stupid humor - I like The Simpsons and Family Guy, but I was really expecting SMART like Arrested Development, and it was awful.
hopefully be back tomorrow to chat. i have to work tomorrow night. have a great week everyone!
Hi, Rachel! Miss you!
CE got her boating license. She might have more in-laws visiting.:scared1:
Sadly, it's not "might". :rotfl:I just don't know when - until FIL shows up next Sunday.
At midnight I asked him to get me an ice cube for my drink, he opened the freezer and missed the cake altogether! :rotfl:I made him reopen it and showed it to him. LOL. He was a happy camper.
:lmao:Tell him Happy Birthday!
Oh and BTW the ex isn't coming! :woohoo:I think the beotch wife made her not wanna come. Oh well.
Who would that be? :) Have fun!
Good morning! Bob's off to the airport. Sd's giving me no END of trouble about going to school! UGH! Teenagers!!!!!
Eh, so did Woody. Maybe it's just Monday. ;)
**** Oh, and a reminder if anyone was going to DVR Oprah today. CE's friend, who wrote the book about Columbine is on today.
Thanks for reminding me! (and it's my friend's brother, but she will be in the audience. ;) )
Played 9 holes this morning, it was so crowded too goodness knows why??? When I got home my MMC party box had arrived :yay: I'll post photos later, we're going to use the stuff for Ellie's party next month :thumbsup2
Are the kids back in school? :confused: Is Monday a big golf day?
Can't wait to see the pics! :)
It's a shame because this is a really beautiful house!
Heading to work now. I'm excited because I found my MP3 player, so I can listen to my music as I type my reports :D
Hope you all have a Fockerific day!
That's too bad, but I agree that it sounds like something to run away from. Glad you found your mp3!
He's great! :rotfl: I just started one called Dog On It by Spencer Quinn told from the dog's point of view. Pretty good mystery so far.
Ooh, I've seen that. It's good? I'll get it. :thumbsup2
I wish it was warm enough to swim outside, but this is Michigan. They are predicting SNOW for tomorrow!
NOOO!!!!!!!
We cooled off considerably last night - it was 62 and sunny yesterday, but it was 32 when I got up - but I think we're still supposed to be 52 today and tomorrow. No more snow, but rain tomorrow. :confused3 I'm so sorry! :hug:
*****************************************************
I truly have nothing to do today, since I've not heard from AIL. (Aunt-in-law... :rotfl2:) She's nice - just a bit flaky - so I can't imagine she'd call at noon and say they'll be here in an hour. I think she'll give me more notice. I think.
I'm pretty ready, anyway. I do need to make up the guest bed again - MIL stripped the sheets, but as it used to be our bed, I have several sheet sets for it. I don't even have to do laundry, but I probably will to get the big pile of sheets done. ;)
And yeah. That's it. Nothing after school. Nothing going on today during the day. I don't need to go to the grocery yet. :confused3 Weird.
I'll be around. :) Have a good morning!
Good Morning all. Hope you all had a wonderful evening. I read...let's see what I can remember.
CelBel - has narrowed down the names for the gp.
Jo - is trying to get free trips traveling America. Also, played golf and it was really crowded. Are the kids back in school?
Mel - SD gave her a hard time going to school today. Just remind him that there is light at the end of the tunnel. Once May hits, the rest of they year will fly by:thumbsup2
Kristel - will be back to vampire hours tonight. I saw that movie too Kristel. It was good. :thumbsup2
Rachel, Rachel, Lisa all checked in :wave2: Hopes to chat today.
Tracey - says there will be
NO
ceremony at 'Ohana in any way shape or form...me thinks she doesn't trust Buzz:lmao:
CE has nothing to do:confused:
Kat thought she as going to have to take down some crazy lady at the laundry mat.:headache:
Did I miss anyone. If I did I'm sorry:flower3:
Where's Dawn?????
======================================================
Carppy Monday here. Rainy and miserable and chilly. Just "perfect" for a Monday morning:sad2: Crazy busy at work and it will be crazy when I get home too. Jimmy has a therapist appointment today at 5:00 that Jim is taking him too. On my way home from work I have to stop at the pharmacy to pick up a prescription and then when I ge thome I have to finish the laundry that I didn't finish yesterday :laundy:
I will check back later!
They are predicting SNOW for tomorrow!
:eek: How much?
I started my Sept PTR :banana:
I found it. :thumbsup2
I truly have nothing to do today,
I have lots to do today but there's a broken water main in front of our house. :rolleyes: Needless to say I'm not doing much.
Breaking News Reid is going to AK next weekend! (for those that don't know, my nephew is almost 2 and my BIL, who grew up in Kissimmee, thinks Disney is silly and Reid's too young to go :faint: ) And my sister asked if I wanted to go. ;) No, I don't think so. :rolleyes1
