Does she sleep over Sunday till Friday?

Yep, she'll be gone from Sunday through Friday morning. :thumbsup2

I was chatting to my sister the other day and she can't believe how expensive your food is, says bread is about $5-6 per loaf and then she moans because apparently you fill it with sugar :rotfl2:

What the heck kind of bread is she buying:faint:. I pay $1.69 - $2.15 for a loaf of bread!

That's exactly what I was going to ask! I don't pay more than $1.69 for bread anytime! At least one of the brands is always doing a 2 for $3 deal. And sometimes the store brand is 99 cents a loaf! That's just crazy!

I saw the Disney stuff post and wanted to point out that I bought little HSM megaphone shaped "eggs" at Target. (I think they had some cool boy shaped ones too.) But I thought they'd be great for a girls Bday party. I may look into going Monday and buying some on clearance. :thumbsup2

BUt I am confused about blowing the liquid out? We hard boil ours? Do you color raw eggs? :confused3
Nope, we hard-boiled them. But you can put a pin hole in each end and literally blow the egg stuff out to wind up with just a shell for decorating. Very fragile, but can be left without refigeration wihtout rotting!
Lucky for us my MIL is doing her own camp next week for spring break. She is taking all the kids to Rock City and Ruby Falls in Chatanooga, to DeSoto Caverns, and to the aquarium in Atlanta next week!! Then We are taking them camping in my mom's RV on Thursday and Friday! Maybe she can come up with another daycamp for them over the summer ;)
This sounds so fun! I never went to camp as a kid; I spent a month with my dad in FL (I lived in NY w/ my mom) and the rest at home and/or visiting relatives in CT. Maybe I need to explore passing Leo onto my unsuspecting great-aunts so he can experience the fun I had!

I should say that I get the free-of-everything bread - no sugar, no preservatives, etc. But it drives me nuts that stuff with LESS ingredients costs more!

But you can be soooooooo flexible with your schedule which is so nice:thumbsup2
For now... We've been talking about putting Baylie in public school for high school. We'll only have 2 more years to do whatever we want when we want to.

I can't believe she'll be a 7th grader in the fall. :guilty:

Well I just had the worst morning EVER.

At about 7am I woke up to the cat puking loudly. then i realized he didn't look so good. after about 2 hours of paranoia, trying tog et back to sleep and worrying about him , i woke up KC. He said Bale didn't look too good either.

All I did was cry and sit with him on the floor. and then suddenly he seemed to be feeling better!!

We went so far as to look into cat crematories in the area. It was that bad.

But he seems to be doing ok now, he's sitting on the rug and looks much better than this morning. KC went to get some pepsid for him (my friend's mom who works in a vet hospital recommends it) so hopefully that'll get him to eat again since he hasn't kept anything down.

Man Is wear this cat is like my kid and I was in the worst way. If he's not better by tomorrow I think a trip to the vet is in order but so far so good.

Positive thoughts please!

I'm off because KC is coming back with the meds and some coffee and breakfast.

PS KC got a text this morning saying "so I'm off the guest list" guess from who???

On the camps and day care issues !! Judy shops around and asks others for rcommendations !:thumbsup2 Kyle is going to a Salvtion army camp next week ,he tried it 2 days this week and loves it !:worship:The women asked if he would mind the religious part and Judy said NO !!:rotfl:Maybe he'll be a god influence on all of us !!:lmao: He got his 30week report card and once again has 100% !:banana:They actually are slowing him down on reading and oushing him to 2nd grade math as they areafraid he will be bord if he gets too far ahead in reading !!Now this is a child with ADHD I love DRUGS , for him they have worked miracles !!:banana:Samantha made Honors and Steph went up a little overall but poor kid struggles , she has a learning disability ad it is soooo hard when you are a twin!!I see her giving up a little more each year and it is so sad !! She did get a 96% in art so we focussed on that!!She also got a 93% in music but Samantha got a 99% . We constantly stress do your best !! Her comments usually reflect this too !!So Hugs needed for Steph, I know she feels worthless due to her grades and we don't have an answer !!

Katt- I'm sorry your kitty's not feeling well. That's scary.
I would boot any exes off the list too. ;)

Okay... so it's poll time.
Who all is planning on going to Girls weekend in October?
I'm just curious. I've seen posts here and there and I'm not sure what's really going on.

Ladies, sound off! :goodvibes

Hi T! Hope you had a good day at the mall.
Hi Lori!
Hello People!
Hi Kristel!

Mitch is back home safely and had the most wonderful food while he was gone. He even brought me a menu to prove it.
What a nice guy. :lmao: Have fun at your photography outing. :teeth:

(And then I had to jump up in panic, because I'd forgotten the snacks. Oops.)
:lmao:Sounds like something I would do.
I just had a friend request from an English lady who keeps asking me questions on the MP, do you think that's weird?
Sounds like you have a stalker - watch out!
Jo - Chavvy???? And it is weird!
I'm glad I'm not the only one. :confused3
Things are good. The sun is shining. Bob's off to work at the office, finally. Have a wonderful wonderful day, peeps!
Well don't you sound chipper. Someone trampolined last night. :rolleyes1
Sounds good

:rotfl2: Google Chav, they're just yucky, dirty, people and I accepted her friendship but have restricted what she can see I've had several before but always ignored them!
How does one pronounce "chav", Jo? Long a or short a?
Not much going on here. Two more days of spring break. I can't wait to send my kids back to school on Monday! It actually hasn't been all that bad. But it has reminded me that I need to plan some activities for the summer. I know that I can't handle a whole summer of doing nothing. So far, I've got DD7 enrolled in three camps and DD5 in one.
The weathers been so crappy here, my kids are driving me insane. Summer is easy, we just open the pool and spend all day in it. :teeth:
We thought it was funny becasue he picked all arts and craft type stuff, and jim and I are so not crafty.
:lmao:
Leo and I colored eggs last night. I think I need to start blowing the liquid out in future years. He was NOT happy about putting the eggs into the fridge, and even less happy about the prospect of ruining all his creative decorating by eating them at a later date!
We haven't decorated eggs yet, perhaps tonight. We did make paper mache eggs yesterday - it's drying and then we will finish it - it looks so cool. Post pic later.
Just had to chime in on this real quick... camp prices are a killer down here! The city-run ones aren't too bad - $80/week - and they have a ton of themes (H is doing a few Nature Camps and a few Swim Camps). But Horse Camp nearly made me cry at the price tag of $250/week! :scared1: :faint:
$250?? That includes your own horse, right.
Jimmy's camp is $200/week. An extra $50 for before and after care (becasue camp is 9 - 4:rolleyes:). An extra $50 for swimming. And then for his specail things. $100 for pottery and $100 for Lego robotics. All the other things he picked are free...thank goodness. We are looking at $800 for 2 weeks :faint:
Wholly crap! Send him here for the summer - buy him a DLR AP and we're set! :thumbsup2
Would it be too much to ask that I don't get woken up just one morning to A screaming at one of his sisters? Geez. It starts my day off crabby.
I hear ya! It's the opposite here - Maddie's always yelling at Evan.
I was chatting to my sister the other day and she can't believe how expensive your food is, says bread is about $5-6 per loaf and then she moans because apparently you fill it with sugar :rotfl2:
Hmmm... what kind of bread is she buying? Our loaves run about $2.50, if I can find it on sale. Otherwise about $3.95.
I know you may think this is just crazy but my DH makes this banana sandwich YUM!! He toasts braed, spreads both slices with Nutella, then slices bananas and puts them between the nutella making a sandwich. Then he spreads butter over the top of the sandwich and sprinkles it with powdered sugar and cinamon. :cloud9:!
Nope, that sounds good! I love Nutella!

I tried buying the store brand, but Maddie likes her bread to have "stuff" in it. Seed and grains and such. What a weirdo.

Oh no! Glad he's feeling better, though. Sending good mojo!

Ok I have to say I love that you deleted them. Andy would have hell to pay if he invited any exes. :headache:

***********************************************

Again a boring day to be had here. Crappy weather is keeping us home and a grump Waldo is driving us mad. I feel bad for him, but yeesh! he's a PITA. Bad daughter, I know. :guilty:

Gonna go work off this bagel I had for breakfast. BBL! :flower3:

I saw those too. I like your idea of saving them for birthdays! I might try to get some myself next week :thumbsup2

Nope, we hard-boiled them. But you can put a pin hole in each end and literally blow the egg stuff out to wind up with just a shell for decorating. Very fragile, but can be left without refigeration wihtout rotting!
ok. thanks. Now I understand :thumbsup2

yea, our kids have a really great grandmother :cloud9:

For now... We've been talking about putting Baylie in public school for high school. We'll only have 2 more years to do whatever we want when we want to.

I can't believe she'll be a 7th grader in the fall. :guilty:
Aw

:lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

I have a friend request on FB from a friend from high school. DH can't stand him because he (the guy) secretly had a crush on me all throughout high school. He never made a move until DH and I were broke up. He told me and I said I wasn't interested but we remained friends. He is in Germany now with a wife and couple of kids. We only talked every few months or so. No big deal right? Well when DH found out we still emailed each other he :faint: and politely requested that I remove him from my email and my friend list from FB.

At first I resisted becuase I knew there was absolutely nothing to worry about but then DH politely reminded me that there is someone  that I don't want him speaking to either even though he and she  were never romantically involved. So we made a deal~ I won't talk to that guy if he agrees not to talk to that girl. Silly, I know, but my marriage is important to me. And if it upsets DH for me to occasionaly receive updates of a man that means nothing to me then it is not worth it. My husband is way more important to me than a high school friend.

So anyway, he sent me a friend request again on FB and I don't know what to say to him. I have declined several times but he keeps showing up. I suppose I owe him an explanation but I dont want to make it sound like my DH is the bad guy, because really it was my decision.

Okay... so it's poll time.

Ladies, sound off! :goodvibes

I haven't heard of this? Please give details!

T (and everyone else too), everyone keeps saying 'trampolining' ??? What does that mean? Is it a three lettered word that starts with s and ends in eX??

Good Afternoon Fockers!

I just had a friend request from an English lady who keeps asking me questions on the MP, do you think that's weird?

I personally think that's its weird, but that's just me. :confused3

Things are good. The sun is shining. Bob's off to work at the office, finally. Have a wonderful wonderful day, peeps!

 Hi Mel!

Morning everyone!

Not much going on here. Two more days of spring break. I can't wait to send my kids back to school on Monday! :woohoo: It actually hasn't been all that bad. But it has reminded me that I need to plan some activities for the summer. I know that I can't handle a whole summer of doing nothing. So far, I've got DD7 enrolled in three camps and DD5 in one.

I've got some cleaning to do this morning. Hope everyone has a great day! Be back later!

 Hi Jodi! I wish I were able to plan for my kids summer and sign them up for camps. :( They'll be with their dad though. Wonder what he's got planned for them? My guess...NOTHING!

Leo and I colored eggs last night. I think I need to start blowing the liquid out in future years. He was NOT happy about putting the eggs into the fridge, and even less happy about the prospect of ruining all his creative decorating by eating them at a later date!

BBL.... :grouphug:

Awwww...that is sweet. DR is into eggs this year as well but he of course likes to peel and eat them.

Morning!:goodvibes

I think we're out of our cold snap. I hope everyone else is seeing the return of spring.

We're off to the park this afternoon so the boys can visit with their friends. I've got a million things to do, but they deserve some time, so we'll be out and about.

I hope everyone has a great day! :grouphug:

Have fun at the park today!

I was chatting to my sister the other day and she can't believe how expensive your food is, says bread is about $5-6 per loaf and then she moans because apparently you fill it with sugar :rotfl2:

 I either buy the local bakery's bread which is anywhere between $1.39-1.69 or the store brand bread if its on sale.

Lucky for us my MIL is doing her own camp next week for spring break. She is taking all the kids to Rock City and Ruby Falls in Chatanooga, to DeSoto Caverns, and to the aquarium in Atlanta next week!! The camp idea sounds so fun! The ex and I stopped in Chatanooga one time and did all the things there and had a nice time. That would be a fun place to take the kids to sometime.

And that sandwich sounds sooooooooo good!

Hi Dawn, T and Rosie! :wave2: Sorry if I'm leaving anyone out and if I am .

::yes::

Dawn - I was planning on girls weekend, but its out for this year for me :-(
Why? :confused3

Debra- Several of the ladies here have talked about meeting up for a girls' weekend October 9-11. I was asking because it seems like it's been willy nilly without a real plan.

I'm nosey. I want to know who's doing what. ;) :lmao:

Jo's the one that started the trampoline thing. I guess in England people trampoline as a sport. She talked about it so much we started teasing her about it being code for you-know-what. :rotfl2:

Hey everyone. Send good thoughts to Kat. KC just posted on facebook that they are going to have to put their cat (Bale) down :sad2:

:hug::hug::hug::hug::hug: For you Kat

That's great Dawn:goodvibes

And I can't do girls weekend this year becasue we decided to add a couple of extra days to our trip to go to Universal, so the budget wouldn't work to do girls weekend too.

Hey everyone. Send good thoughts to Kat. KC just posted on facebook that they are going to have to put their cat (Bale) down :sad2:

:hug::hug::hug::hug::hug: For you Kat
OMGosh!!! How horrible! I hadn't checked-in in a while, but I thought things were looking up.

Kat- I am so sorry!!! :grouphug: :sad1:
It's horrible. I know. It seems like they are fine one day, then so sick the next when it's their time. :sad1::hug::hug::hug:

Yep, as Janet said we had to make an appointment to put the cat to sleep. We called a friend who works at an animal hospital and she confirmed what we already knew- that he's sick beyond repair. he's freezing and won't eat or drink and is hardly responding to much of anything. We did find a fair price for the euthanasia and cremation ($275 total) so it won't break the bank, thank goodness. I'd spend a million if I needed to. The earliest appointment they had was tomorrow 10:15am. Looks liek no sleep for me again.

17 years I have had Bale. I am doing ok for the moment, just trying to distract myself. Tomorrow will be worse. Today I am just being thankful for having him with me this one last day and thankful that KC can be home with me through all this. He is so darn good in a crisis.

So I may pop in and out depending on how well I distract myself.

Thanks for all the hugs!
