Thanks, V! They're good boys. Sadly, they have just started cooking. I'm way to "control freak" to let them cook. Bob is the one who said, "Uh, if you plan on SD EVER moving out, you'd better teach him to at least make pasta!" LOL So, he's sort of handling that part. I think you are doing a GREAT job with Leo. He's sweet and polite. That's all I require of kids who are under 8!

We communicate pretty well usually, it's just much harder because he makes the $$ and I don't, at the moment, so it's touchier than usual. But we talked it out and are ok with it, for now lol.

Not that it helps the big picture, but come stay with me whilst he's in Boston. Seriously.

Not too much advice, if I knew what to say I could fix it here too!

Usually the best remedy for this is to take some time to calm down and then try one more time to discuss it. If it's still a sore spot, then maybe you need to write it out? Money does make people do and say some crazy stuff.

Actually writing out the budget on paper did help me a lot. I think it helps him to see the actual spending and stuff too! I'm all about seeign things on paper. Thanks!

kat, i'm sorry you are having trouble. I think most couples argue over money more than anything else. We are struggling with getting out of debt and have both vowed not to become slaves to debt ever again. Since we made that decision and agreeing on a budget and plan to get out of debt, a lot (but not all) of our financial arguments have been eliminated. I hope you guys work this out as well in whatever way is best for you.

Yea we have been trying to come up with something that works for us, and i thinkw e pretty much figured it out but now we have to follow through. Thats more what i was annoyed at, the non follow through of it all.

I would say then I am going to Disney in October but that really would not help the mattewr at all.

Renters insurance is a good thing to have.

What kind of TV? We have th bravia 42 inch and moving to the 55 or 60 something inch when we movee in 2 weeks.

Not much going on here today. Mitch is in N.O. I told him Regis & Kelly are broadcasting live two block from his hotel and he wasn't impressed at all. Maybe some of the people he's with will take photos if there are lots of celebrities.

Oh how I long to visit New Orleans! It's one of my dream places to visit.

It's before noon and I'm awake- yee ha! KC's work phone went off again this morning but then he realized he was supposed to go in an hour earlier today and we didn't set the alarm correctly, so it was a good thing even if it was annoying. Except that I never got back to sleep. I'll prob end up with a nap later on.

So we talked it all out last night again. I think we are on the same page and are going to save up for things instead of put them on the credit card and worry later. So thats good. Also we have talked about it and it's pretty much a go for the Atlantic City Birthday trip for me too! It'll be June 19th-21st so those of you near by- SAVE THE DATE!

Not much going on today, just me cleaning up some, keeping things organized. I am making a spinach and artichoke bake for dinner. I need to go to the store for some mushrooms to add to it, as long as the rain holds off.

Nope, but I haven't really started looking yet either. I'm sure its in the toy room though. She was playing school last night and I think was using it as a school book.

YAY!!!! Leo's home! He was so, so glad of it, too. And he was exhausted; came home form school, ate a banana and fell fast asleep on the couch whilst I made dinner. He perked up some after eating, but was ready for bed by 8.

I just finished two by Linda Fairstein which I really enjoyed. I also started one by Fern Michaels, never read her but have heard of her, it's strange. I'm not sure if I'll continue with it or not. I am also reading one by Blaize Clement. She's a pet sitter who solves mysteries. Nothing too deep, but a good read. And you?

I'd do some planning, but August Hours won't come out until May and I can't make ADR's until May 11th

I have been looking at rentals again, but the prices are coming down so I don't want to book anything yet. All the National Coupons on Mousesavers expire May 30th, so I am hoping some new coupons will come out then. My crocs order hasn't been delivered yet.

Help! Anyone here to keep me entertained. I can't facebook here becasue the computer keeps locking up anytime I try to log on there

I talked to my realtor last night and I'm so frustrated that we lowered the price on Friday and haven't had any traffic. I'm going to wait two weekends, then we might add an incentive of some sort to get people interested. It's so frustrating. We need to get out of here, but I can't drop the price so much that I don't have 10% to put down on the new house. We'll see...

I spent the day painting and I'm paying the price today. I'm not sure how many trips up and down the ladder I made yesterday, but I'm aching in places I didn't know I had muscles!!! But at least it's done. Today, I get to put everything away and clean the kitchen floor. It's amazing what you find under the fridge and the stove!

Bob did mention that some blog he reads said that Facebook is changing it's interface AGAIN because they had so many complaints. However, they aren't putting it back the way it WAS, so why bother!!!???!!!

Got my mom. Bob DID buy me a latte and then he took Mom and I to lunch. Yum! Now we're home. Watching the giant snowflakes....

Well then I am REALLY REALLY bored since our trip isn't until October. At least you almost have the hours and can book ADR's in about a month .

I was spoiled with the 180 day thing. I had so much time to make plans, change plans, tweak plans etc. Now I feel like I am just sitting in limbo waiting until July . Ok enough pouting from me.

Today is a slow day here too. Bill has a quiz online later, he worked on his research paper until about 2am. Since I have to help him at bed time I was up until then too, I am tired today. He works so hard, he can't wait until school is finally over for him in July.
